The property seems old but it was clean clean! Very nice location. Check in and out was super easy.

Much needed escape from busy world. Quiet neighborhood, and beautiful view around whole cabin. Definitely would come back with some extra cushions or air mattress but comfort does not take away from experience.

With VRBO one expects some basic amenities, e.g trash bags, toilet paper, soap, kitchen towels, coffee, and some basic kitchen supplies. Any how we managed. The weird thing was the tone of the communication with the host. On a simple checkin on where can we find a few of these things, being told do not break into the host cabinets, was extremely rude, unnecessary and unempathatic. These were part of the communication in the checkin instructions which we saw only after we had left for the trip, I think it needs to be part of the listing so renters know what they are booking especially for properties with no cancellation policy. We are not new to renting Airbnbs and VRBO properties, this one was just one of the strangest experience. The property is old but decent and location is indeed very good, but not pleased with the overall experience which could have been different if only for better communication.

Great place to stay! The property is a little older but doesn’t take away from it’s beauty. The kitchen appliances work well. The view from the balcony is pretty. It’s very peaceful and quiet. The showers work well. Just allow the water to warm up for 30 seconds to a minute before entering. The living room is very cozy as well and has local TV channels. The only downside is the rooms get really hot even with the fans on. The AC doesn’t work too well. If you need internet access or phone access outside of the (209) area code it won’t work. If these are deal breakers I wouldn’t recommend this location. However, we were perfectly fine without phone and internet access. Makes the trip more peaceful. Overall, great place and would stay again! Thank you for having us!

The cabin was clean and just the right size for the family. The area is covered in pine trees. If you are looking for seclusion this is the spot to go. Fyi - bring a good book and leave the electronics at home.

Exactly as described. Most has already been said by other reviewers. But we did find an added bonus. Down the street we found a small path that loops behind the property that's perfect for snow play and sledding. Also remember there is no service so distant learning from this cabin will not work. Definitely, will come back.

Was a nice visit. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed except wifi. But we made do without. Not to far from the lake.

After reading reviews on yelp I was nervous about staying at the rental. We took a chance and checked in. I'm glad we did, cabin was clean, easy to park, beds were comfortable, deck was nice (picnic table on patio is a little small and wobbly so I would recommend bringing lawn chairs), showers and bathrooms worked great and were clean. We all had a great time.

We had a great time enjoying the mountains in this charming cabin. Nice peaceful location down in the trees. Great large deck. It had everything we needed except AT&T cell service, but that was actually a good thing!

the location was a perfect distance away from all our destinations. Gas station/convenient store was close by for our small needs. Beautiful scenery, the driveway is perfect for loading and unloading a car. The kids loved play foosball and exploring the woods in the back of the house.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Since early 2000s we have been traveling to Pinecrest Lake and staying in their townhomes. This year we decided to give a cabin a try instead and we were not disappointed! The cabin was clean, spacious and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The deck was large and the kitchen had a table that could seat 8. The owner was great and timely with communication. We will definitely book again!

Clean, cozy and centrally located for our mountain fun. We came with 2 families and our kids (3-6 years) and the place was perfect for us. We had a day of snow sports at Dodge Ridge and hiking around Pinecrest lake. There was no snow at the house, but it hadn't snowed in over a month.

My granddaughter was getting married at the Lair(Cal alumni family camp) and I needed a level-in home not too far away. This place was perfect for me. House is very pleasant but not “homey”. A good place for families with all the basics. Would definitely rent it again.

Nicely furnished, good size deck, easy access to property from parking. They have a problem with mice.

This cabin exceeded our expectations and was our favorite cabin that we've rented in the Pincrest area so far (4th rental, all in winter). The layout is great - perfect for two families with kids (4 adults, 3 kids) - two bedrooms with their own bathroom. The cabin was immaculate when we arrived. There is a large living and dining area and a small but nicely laid out and functional kitchen. The fire place keeps the cabin nice and cozy. The kitchen is well-stocked with tools and small appliances and the washer/drier was especially convenient. Our kids loved exploring the area around the cabin and even loved hanging out on the large patio while it snowed. There is even a nice mudroom area where the laundry is which has a door to the patio so we could enter there and leave our wet boots and clothes. The cabin is also a short drive to Leland Snow Park and Dodge Ridge skiing and also close to small shops and restaurants (finally tried Mia's Pizza and it's GREAT!). The only thing that was missing, and it could have been that I missed it in the details, was garbage bags, hand soap and dishwasher soap. We came prepared with our toiletries, paper towels and toilet paper, but did not bring any garbage bags, hand soap or dishwasher soap. This was remedied by a quick trip to the general store in Pinecrest. Wish we had more time, we could not have been happier during our stay. Great family weekend away.

We loved the cabin it was very clean and super cute. I had wished check out times were a little better by the time you get up you have to start getting ready to leave and that takes time. I feel a noon or 1pm check out would be more appropriate. We would rent again it was comfortable.

Thank you so much for renting us this cabin. It was very comfortable and clean. It contained all we needed to relax after a long day of hiking or hanging out at the lake. My 82 year-old mother who has a hard time walking was extremely happy to be accommodated. Her room and living spaces were all on the ground floor. She did not want to leave! We will come back again!

We had a great time in Cabin #8 despite a few little hiccups (which we worked around). We arrived around 4PM the cabin was a freezing 44° but we knew there was a fireplace so we planned on starting a fire right away and knew the heater would slowly bring the temperature up, only relalizing that the lighters we packed were with our significant others (who were coming up later) after a few hours and cuddling with the kids, watching TV in our blankets the temperate from the heater rose ever so slightly and our husbands finally arrived to start a raging fire and got the house up to a nice 72° by midnight. The cabin suited our 2 families absolutely perfectly and the kids loved playing with the provided games, enjoying the snow on the back deck and the upstairs fooseball table!! The cabin is in a perfect location to both snow parks, and restaurants and towns to sightsee and we would love to stay here on our next family vacation! Thanks for allowing us to stay in your cabin!

The cabin was very clean and just the right size for us. The decor nice and comfortable. We had every accessory available to us. The location could not have been better. Close to restuarants, outdoor activities and Yosemite National Park. We highly recommend this cabin.

Direction was great. The cabin was very quiet. The only problem was the futons were not very comfortable. We had a very good time.

We really enjoyed our stay at cabin. We stayed downstairs, our granddaughters (age 9) stayed on the futon in the loft and our son stayed in the upstairs bedroom. The mattresses were a little hard but that is to be expected. The deck was great and except for no internet access, which is our fault for having AT&T, the girls really enjoyed themselves too. The cabin is close to Pinecrest and any other place we wanted to go. We look forward to using your services in the future. Thank you for your great customer service.
