Very helpful as we spoke Very little Spanish. Trying to make ourselves understood was funny at some points 😄

secluded clean/basic genuine Spanish hotel - just what we wanted

just a tad run down - but the staff did everything to make up for that

Breakfast was about adequate, bit of toast, jam and a little cake, cup of coffee.

The hotel was ok for a one night stay. It has what you need, you can get food and drinks and parking facilities.

Good parking for motorcycles

Hotel was on the outskirts of the town so you had a walk in to get some thing to eat at night but only 10 minutes so no real problem

This was a 1 star hotel on the outskirts of Cangas de Narcea. There is ample parking and the hotel has a cafe/bar which is well patronised by local people, popping in for a morning coffee. There is a pleasant riverside walk into C d N which takes about 30minutes (turn left out of the hotel, continue for 200m to a junction, where you can get to the other side of the river and the walkway). Outside the front of the hotel is a shaded area with tables and chairs where we enjoyed a couple of beers after spending our days riding the motorbikes around the National Park of Somedia which was truly beautiful. We didn't use the restaurant preferring to walk into C d N where there was a brilliant Sideria/Restaurant. I commented that we wouldn't book this hotel again. This was because we stayed in C d N for 3 nights and would probably be looking for a hotel with more facilities. However it was very good value for money. Something to note. The GPS co-ordinates we had from 'booking 'didn't seem to be correct-at least on our sat-nav. If you're travelling south out of C d N on the AS 213 continue passed the hospital on the left round the bend and the hotel is up ahead on the left.

Breakfast was pretty basic, but the coffee was good and the orange juice freshly squeezed. Should have had a room with a balcony but by the time we realized we didn't want to move our gear. When we settled our bill we were charged for the cheaper room.

Plenty of parking. Friendly staff.

No Internet - broken. Front rooms face onto busy road and windows and blinds don't block the noise. Toilet trickled.
