Our stay was fine and we enjoyed the proximity to the beach.. Unfortunately, the room had bedbugs and we had no idea until it was too late. On our last night of the 3-night stay, we woke up covered in bites! It made traveling back home a nightmare. We've been trying to prevent contaminating our home, but we may have to call pest control to come help. Be cautious of the beds at this place.

Room 104 at the Beach is tired and in need of remodel. Couch and bed mattress ole and worn out. Water pressure at kitchen sink poor. Placement of TV made it difficult to use kitchen sink. TV picture not good, not sharp and original TV remote missing. Location and staff ae great, but owner needs to invest some money into justifying why we paid over $400 per night. I would not return. Oh by the way, landscape beds need some work.

This is the perfect beach condo for a peaceful getaway. My daughter and I loved being steps away from the private beach. The Murphy bed was surprisingly very comfortable. Sue at the office was so sweet and helpful. We can’t wait to stay here again!

We found a place very delightful. A little small for four of us, but we spent most of the time outdoors at the beach pool. The furniture and Murphy bed needs some updating which wouldn’t cost the owner much. Overall, we had a great time.

We definitely enjoyed our time at the beach. We have stayed in three other condos at this facility.
We really love Saint Armands Circle. The condo is very nice and very clean.
Just a few things that we noticed that we could benefit from. There was no hot pads to bring your food out of the oven. The outdoor furniture on our patio is falling apart. The pillows were absolutely terrible. The insides of the pool could use a scrubbing. The TV placement in this particular condo was very difficult to maneuver. With all that being said, I would stay again.

Location was great! You can’t beat it! The Beach Complex is unique and right on the beach for private access. Exterior Painting, Pool Maintenance, Landscaping, etc was all happening during my stay. Maintenance was in our condo two days in a row with little notice from the beach office. Condo #104 is good. Only a few minor details that would make me hesitant to book again. Beach chairs were taken early everyday. Not enough for guests especially if large parties. I called RVA for assistance on one thing and didn’t get a return phone call. Booking with RVA was great- very helpful as I changed my dates by 1 day. Overall- nice stay. Thank you

Very pleasant office staff. The Beach at Longboat Key is in a great location, close to places of interest on both ends but in a less crowded area which we liked. We stayed in the studio, surprisingly big enough, even more surprising was the comfort of the Murphy bed. The room was clean and the grounds were very nice. Lazy Lobster is a close restaurant that we liked a lot

Great property but avoid this unit. When we arrived the temperature in the unit was 80 degrees. We went to turn on the AC and found a note instructing us to keep the temperature at a minimum of 74 degrees. If not, the unit would freeze up and cease operating. This made for an uncomfortably hot week in the unit, especially when trying to sleep at night. There was not a screen door on the patio so it was impossible to even get a breeze in the unit at night. The unit is in very poor condition and was not cleaned well prior to our arrival. The bathroom fan was broken and sounded like a screaming child, some of the small appliances were broken. We found clothes hanging in the closet from a past renter. The patio furniture was mostly broken and couldn’t be used. We heard the owner of the unit is aware of the many issues but is not willing to make repairs. On a good note, the on-site management staff were wonderful and helped as much as they could when we asked. The location was great and it sits on a beautiful stretch of quiet beach. We would stay in the property again but would rent a different unit.

This unit is just awful except fpr the bed. It was perfect and that was important to me. Everyhing else was bad. The patio furniture is old, tired, and broken. The silverware was pathetic. the TV was impossible to figure out and no instruction provided. I am offended that you aren't following the law and providing recycling. The bathtub mat was covered in mold and the manager thew it in the trash. I am sure there's more, but you get the idea.

The unit had not been throughly cleaned in a long time. The tv was next to the bed, so if u watched the tv from bed , the imaged was reversed thru a mirror across the room. No safety bar in the bath. The furniture was old , black or brown colors. The burners were no longer marked, so difficult to see which burner was in use. No space for language, except the glass coffee table, the linen closet was filled with pillows so u couldn’t open it or completely close it. The bathroom door was pulled apart at the bottom, so the wood caught every time u opened the door. On the last night the AC leaked, & we had to put a pot under the AC to catch the water, got up during the nite to empty the pot. We closed the front door the shower fell on the tub. The laundry was so dirty from the washer to the side ’s obviously the owner is in it for the rent$, & doesn’t care about the this unit 104B

We enjoyed the rental unit. We had a nice secluded patio. An upstairs unit would have had a better view of the ocean, but it was easier to be on the first floor and not have to climb stairs.

We absolutely loved our time at The Beach resort. The beach was gorgeous and it was great to have a pool and such easy access to the beach! We would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous time!
We stayed just a few short days and really enjoyed the area! We may have possibly found our new vacation spot! The room was a studio room so it was kinda tight for our family but it was good for the short time we were there!

The Beach property was amazing! Renting and checking in couldn't have been easier and just everythingthing about the experience was awesome. The room was clean, just the size we needed. The beach access couldn't have been much closer and so beautiful abd the price just couldn't be beat. Thank you so much for helping me make memories with my family

Just steps from the beach…
Had a wonderful stay. Quiet, comfortable, literally steps from the beach. Our room had a Murphy bed that was comfortable as well as a sofa, coffee table, end tables and kitchen table. Kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker. Central air worked well. Nice patio area with a table and four chairs and two reclining patio chairs. Pool was clean and a comfortable 87 degrees. It was maybe 50 steps to the beach from our room and another 50 to the water. Umbrellas and reclining chairs were available to guests on a first come first serves basis. Overall was a great place to stay and would return again.

Cute little room with just enough space to enjoy a walk on the beach or a splash in the pool. Nothing is better than being able to walk out your door to the beautiful sunset or seeing the little rabbits in the courtyard. With shopping very near and plenty of restaurants this location is perfect. We also enjoyed breakfast made in our in room kitchen. This location is our #1 out of 6 places we stayed over the past year!

There was a warning the temperature had to be set at 74. During the night I couldn't sleep at that temp. I wish I knew that before staying there. After a 2 night stay when leaving I had to strip the bed, take out the trash, run the dishwasher. I paid 85.00 for cleaning services & 35.00 for insurance.
