Villa in good position good pool. We thought the inside will soon nead an update. GB TV not working when reported was told we know can't get it fixed,go to the beach or watch a dvd. Both remote controls not working replaced batteries still not working. Best to bring your own tablet or play cards and hope it doesn't rain.

La maison offre une magnifique vue sur la plage de Son Bou et la mer. Belle et grande piscine.

La ubicación del chalet era excepcional, con unas vistas estupendas. La zona muy tranquila, y la playa de arena muy larga y limpísima.Hemos estado muy bien aunque comentar del chalet el calor que hacía a partir del mediodía, ya que daba el sol en la terraza y comedor, así como en casi todas las habitaciones, por lo que no sabias donde meterte hasta casi la noche. El hecho de tener piscina ha sido imprescindible para esas horas si estabas en el chalet. Disponía de ventiladores en todas las habitaciones aunque no era suficiente para esas temperaturas. Además he encontrado un poco escasos los básicos. Por ejemplo no disponía de papel higiénico ni sal, y creo que una sombrilla disponible para llevar a la playa hubiera estado bien. Aun así, nuestra valoración es bastante positiva.

Nous n'avons pas été déçu de notre choix bien au contraire. Très belle maison bien entretenue. Très bien située. Belle piscine. Très belle vue sur la mer. Tous les soirs nous avons profité du coucher de soleil. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances. Je recommande.

Excellents contacts avec le propriétaire, rapide pour répondre à nos questions et très sympa et arrangeant. La villa est vraiment superbe, juchée sur la colline qui domine la plage de Son Bou ( 10 bonnes mn à pieds pour y descendre ... le retour en montant en plein soleil un peu plus ! ) , dans la verdure ( les maisons sont disposées de telle manière que l on ne se voit pas , aussi bien de la terrasse que de la piscine) sur une impasse donc pas de bruit de voiture. La vue est magnifique et nous avons pris tous nos repas sur la terrasse en admirant le panorama, avec la piscine à côté (bien entretenue): le rêve ! La terrasse qui jouxte la chambre a l etage est également superbe , cette chambre avec SDB attenante et double fenêtre est la plus agréable mais rien à reprocher aux 2 chambres du RDC . La situation de la villa sur l ile est très pratique pour se rendre sur les autres plages, max 1/2 h en voiture en général et la plage de Son Bou en contre bas est très belle, avec des petits restos pas mal du tout. Nous recommandons hautement cette maison et y retournerons avec plaisir .

The house is extremely nice, very big and with a wonderful view! The position is perfect for enjoying the island.

Villa was very nice and fine with children when in property. The stairs can be a problem if you have buggies. We had a 8 month baby and 4 year old which when walking down to main bars and shops do struggle a bit with the walk as its very steep when walking back up. Its all things we overcame and wasn't a massive problem and had a lovely time at villa.

We have just returned from another lovely holiday in Menorca, this time spending 3 weeks in this villa. We have been coming to Menorca for many years (over 30 for one of us!) and have always stayed in Son Bou, so we know the area well and it always makes for a good holiday. We have always felt that Son Bou is a safe and friendly resort for family holidays. Family and friends have properties in Son Bou but a large group were out at the same time so we decided to book extra accommodation. It's the first time we've used Owners Direct and we found the process very straightforward, plus the owners were very helpful answering our questions. The villa has a lovely spot on the hillside overlooking Son Bou, with superb sea views. It is set on a relatively quiet, non through road, and you are able to park near the steps that lead up to the villa. The villa itself has a good layout and there was plenty of space for all of us (3 adults and 2 young boys). It was clean and comfortable, with basic fittings and furnishings having a slightly older feel. Whilst everything in the kitchen was in working order, we would say the fridge and washing machine are reaching the end of their days. The swimming pool is a really good size, taking up the majority of space to the side of the villa. The pool area and front terrace enjoy plenty of sunshine - in the high season, a refreshing dip in the pool is essential! Temperatures were in the 30's for most of our stay. Inside, the villa stayed fairly cool when there was a breeze but the fans provided were essential at times. Air Con would be a welcome addition. Being on the hillside, there is no getting away from the number of steps that lead down to the bars and restaurants (and beach) - we've got used to them over the years but there are a lot and it can be a struggle in the heat, especially for the young or elderly. Car hire is not essential but it does take the pressure off now and again, particularly if you're stocking up at the shop. Another thing we have got used to over the years is the local ants - they can sniff out the slightest of sticky patches from a mile off! We're in the habit of wiping/sweeping up as we go, but given the opportunity, they will catch you out! There is a good selection of restaurants in Son Bou and, if you've hired a car, there are plenty more within easy reach. In summary, we had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay.
