Very homely villa with a large outdoor space. Some very nice touches and loads of character. Pool was actually quite cold which meant we didn't really go in it so much (we visited in October UK half term). The beach is really close and the water is very calm. There is also water sports, jet ski's, inflatables etc. There is a restaurant called the Lindian Jewel which is just down the road which is also good and has very good food. Really good comms from Russ on the lead up to the holiday.

Just an amazing place to spend two weeks. Villa is immaculate, pool area and surrounds are 5*, views incredible, walking distance to the beach and beach bar/restaurant. Never had better service from a villa owner. Cannot rate this place highly enough.

Villa Galini is simply outstanding. It is more like a 5 star boutique hotel. The location is wonderful with a 2 min walk onto the beach, yet tucked away and elevated so wonderfully quiet and peaceful with just outstanding views across the bay. The quality of everything is top notch and fully equipped for your comfort. The outdoor space is the best we have ever stayed in with outdoor lounge and dining under the canopy and then the fabulous pool. You really feel like a film star in Beverly Hills !! Russ and team cannot do enough for you and the local car hire and transfers were also amazing. It has been so lovely to escape the current COVID situation and relax somewhere safe and friendly. At the end of the day holidays are precious times and you get what you pay for. I can’t recommend enough - thanks Russ you are outstanding at this !

I was truly blown away by the thought and detail that the owner put into making sure we had a fantastically relaxing and memorable stay, The location couldn't be better with uninterrupted sea views, tranquil pool and garden areas yet a selection of family run restaurants and bars within walking distance. The Villa is finished beautifully with design touches that wouldn't be out of place in the finest 5* luxury resorts. The outdoor living area is the perfect place to enjoy a chilled glass of something and watch the sun set after a relaxing day around the pool or to revitalise before heading into nearby Lindos to explore and enjoy one of the many fine restaurants (the owner kindly made some excellent recommendations). I have since seen the amazing photos of the villa at villa in rhodes and if you need any further reassurance you can see the detail of the finish and the wonderful features of the villa - sadly ours was a short stay this trip but we will be back and are counting down the days until we are next around the pool enjoying the Lindos sun and a cheeky afternoon G&T.

From the moment we entered Villa Galini we were blown away. Russ has taken time and care in his design and this reflects throughout the Villa, even to the mirror in the kitchen capturing the picturesque view of the bay in the reflection (very clever). I can honestly say this is the best holiday i have had from visiting the pretty towns of Rhodes and Lindos all of which were easily accessible, to knowing that after a day out exploring we would enjoy to relax by the pool afterwards. There are a few places to eat locally in the bay and every meal that we had was extremely good. I will be to happy to visit here again and felt very reluctant to leave. If you are looking to book a villa then you will not be disappointed with Villa Galini.

Where do I start! Villa Galini is stunning and surpassed our expectations. The lovely surprises in the lead up to the holiday set the scene and on arrival we were thrilled. Russell has such an eye for design and Villa Galini is very stylish and so well appointed. Although the villa itself is beautiful, it is the outside space and pool area that really set it apart from other villas. The beautiful outside dining and lounge area looking out over the gorgeous pool and the sea is amazing. The bbq was brilliant for the couple of nights we dined in. The sun loungers are high quality and pool towels are provided. There was even inflatables, much to my daughters delight. It’s great to be able to play your music round the pool with the Bluetooth system too. The villa was extremely clean and the service team that came during our stay were great. Our family had a truly fabulous holiday and we sincerely thank Russell for having us as guests in his beautiful home. We would highly recommend Villa Galini to anyone and hope to be back again in the not too distant future!

This was our second stay at Villa Galini and as soon as we arrived it felt like home. The villa is very clean, beautifully presented on our arrival and the outdoor area and pool was even more amazing than our first visit two years ago. Russ the owner has thought of everything, the villa is so well equipped with everything you need and more. We enjoyed visiting the beach (2 minute walk) in the mornings, where you’ll find water sports and cheap sun loungers to hire. We spent the afternoons at the villa enjoying the pool and relaxing on the luxurious sun loungers whilst listening to our music on the outdoor surround sound speakers. There is a lovely hotel restaurant across the road where we ate most evenings over looking the sea. The supermarket which is a 2 minute walk from the villa has all the essentials you’ll need and is very reasonably priced and there is a bigger supermarket 5 minutes by car if you should need it. Lindos is 10 minutes away and is well worth a visit on an early evening. In a nutshell we would highly recommend this villa to everyone and we had a fantastic holiday at Villa Galini. We will definitely be returning some time in the near future.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Galini. The property is gorgeous, with a lovely pool and extremely comfortable sunbeds! The beach is a couple of minutes walk away, and Lindos is a very short drive. Definitely recommend this villa and I will be returning!

Fantastic outside space, with shade when you need it and a nice pool. We loved using the BBQ and eating outside, the appliances we're all of good quality right down to the coffee machine. The villa was clean and well decorated with more than enough space for two. My wife always needs more hangers and hanging space, but at Villa Gallini we had more than enough. The welcome pack was also very well received although it's worth mentioning a supermarket is closer than the beach so its well positioned to get what you need when you need it.

Ever since our first interaction with Russ the owner and designer of Villa Galini we were blown away by his eye for detail, nothing was too much trouble and he genuinely cared that we were relaxed, had everything we needed and could just enjoy our luxury break. When we arrived there were some beautiful little touches that were very much appreciated (we wont spoil the surprise for future guests). The view over the bay from the beautifully decked pool and garden area was a super backdrop to dinner on the extensive outdoor terrace with the pool lit by night and the stars twinkling above it made for some memories we will enjoy for a lifetime. We would recommend this super property without any hesitation and look forward to returning.

Right from the first contact we had with the owner regarding the booking, we found the process straight forward, helpful and friendly. Our emails were answered promptly and very informatively. Myself and my wife thought the villa was stunning, spotlessly clean and tidy. We really liked the way the villa was furnished and decorated, it was totally to our taste. We were amazed at the choice of equipment in the kitchen and the outdoor area. There was even a fridge outside to keep your drinks cool. It was really useful to have a dishwasher and a washing machine in the villa. The additional things such as cleaning supplies, toiletries, bath towels and luxurious pool towels were a nice addition too. The outdoor area is perfect to chill out in the warm evenings and is a welcomed break from sun in the daytime. The pool was beautiful, perfect depth (1.3M), a great size for the family to have fun in and was also well maintained. There are plenty of sun beds, outdoor seating etc...and a great BBQ area should you want to eat in. Our children particularly loved the pool (even at 10pm!), the wifi which they could use anywhere in the villa grounds and they enjoyed the excellent choice of DVDs and CDs on offer. Alexandra (Villa manager) visited us at the beginning of the holiday and was most helpful and informative. She reassured us that she was always there should we need her. The villa location is brilliant, we didn't realise how close it was to the restaurants, supermarkets and the beach, all within a 2 minute walk. We chose to eat at the local restaurant Azzuro most evenings which has excellent food and great views of Vlicha Bay. This was a real bonus. In a nutshell what we are trying to say is the villa is perfect. This has been our best family holiday to date! Thank you Russ for sharing your villa with us and I will definitely consider returning one day.

Incredible villa, wonderfully managed and a truly great location for a holiday. We traveled out to Lindos for our wedding at the end of May and found Villa Galini to be the perfect base. 40 minute drive from the airport and you wind down into the quiet yet large vlicha bay. With only a handful of hotels, apartments and villas you don't feel like you are in a really touristy spot which allows for a relaxing stay and some beautiful views. The villa is nestled slightly up the hill and immediatley you can tell it certainly different to the others around! The villa has recently undergone some more improvements to really make it feel like you are staying in somebody's home rather than a rental villa. Inside you have 1 bedroom downstairs that opens out onto the beautiful shaded area poolside and there is also a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with a lovely shower. The outside living area has a dining table, outdoor fridge, coffee machine and sofa's to relax in the shade. The pool area looks out over Vlicha bay and the pool itslef has easy access with concrete steps and also and ledge at one end allowing the kids to splash around without the worry of being out of their depth. The pool is however all one depth so diving isn't really advised! Upstairs there are two more bedrooms with balconies and a shower/bath. Villa Galini is about a 5-10min drive to Lindos where the beach is much more sandy than Vlicha Bay however be advised that driving in limited in Lindos and paring can get quite frantic in the mornings when the tourist buses arrive to visit the acropolis! As mentioned Vlicha bay is quite quiet and places to eat are fairly limited. Having said that, the Lindian Jewell (2 min walk) offers great food as well as takeaways and also the Yota Beach (3min walk) does some fantastic food! The villa does have a great BBQ area which i would advise taking advantage of. Just off the main road at the top of Vlicha Bay is a big supermarket where you can buy everything you will need for your stay! Overall i would highly recommend staying at Villa Galini. We honestly felt it was the nicest villa we have stayed in and Russ (owner) was so helpful during the booking process, even sending us Christmas cards, luggage tags and a welcome home card! We just hope not too many people find out abut this gem of a location! ;-)

We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous 17 days at Villa Galini. We had a fantastic holiday and would not hesitate to return to this stunning villa. It is obvious that the owner has put so much care and thought into every area of the decoration and presentation and has achieved stunning results. Throughout the process, from the initial booking with the owner to the contact with the Management Company, we found everyone to be extremely professional, friendly and approachable. On arrival we were truly 'wowed'. Everything was beautifully presented and clean and there were some lovely touches like a welcome card, complimentary White Company toiletries and a great selection of food and drink. There was even a birthday card and a bottle of bubbly from the owner! The villa itself is spacious and well equipped. There's plenty of storage and the kitchen has everything you could could possibly need on holiday - there's probably more glassware and crockery than we have at home!! There was excellent wi-fi coverage throughout the villa and outside on the terrace which kept the kids happy when they weren't in the pool! The thing that really sets Villa Galini apart however is the outdoor space. The covered terrace is spacious and again beautifully furnished - perfect for relaxing in the shade, taking in the view of the bay or enjoying a drink or two in the evening. The location in Vlicha Bay is also great. It is in a quiet, yet not isolated position. It is only a 5 minute drive into Lindos but what we hadn't actually realised when booking is that there's a mini-market and a couple of bars / restaurants within just a couple of minutes walk. We enjoyed the Azurro bar at the Lindian Jewel, and they were happy to call you a taxi if you wanted to go on anywhere else. I could go on as we had such a fantastic holiday but to sum up we absolutely loved this villa and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a special holiday rental in Rhodes.

Villa is perfect - comfortable, cool, stylish & spacious. Difficult to decide where to spend chill-out times - upstairs on the balcony, in the stylish sitting room with air con on, out in the fabulous outdoor lounge or over on the stone seat with the pebble mosaic and exotic plants; try them all! So much hard work has gone into making this a five star villa, the others in the same row are way behind by the looks of things. The mini market in the bay does fab doughnuts, cheese pies and lots of other useful things, and the 19 and 21 year olds in our group enjoyed wandering down for reasonably priced cocktails in the bar just close to the mini market. A great place to stay and only a five minute drive to Lindos. Hihly recommended.

My family and I have just come back from a fabulous stay at one of the nicest villas we have ever been to. We decided on Villa Galini given its modern and ‘boutique’ look, we were certainly not disappointed! The villa was immaculate and looked like something out of an interior design magazine - each bedroom was a great size with modern furnishings and a clean, crisp finish. The living and kitchen area is open plan and well laid out leading on to the terrace and pool area which was the best part for us; the terrace is covered by a waterproof canopy (we found this out on the last day when the heavens decided to open) allowing you to sit in comfort whilst overlooking the lovely pool and stunning sea views. The pool is a deep blue colour mimicking the sea and surrounded by a very well looked after garden with some beautiful plants and even a private seat tucked away in the corner to soak up those amazing sea views in tranquility! The villa is in a great location, just a short walk away from the mini market giving you the essentials for your stay and also some neighbouring hotels should you fancy a drink locally. As we have a 5 month old son it was important to us that the villa was child/baby friendly and again, this was certainly the case. The villa had 2 travel cots (enabling us to put one on the terrace in the shade so we could watch our son whilst relaxing on the sunbeds), a baby seat for the bath, toys and a ‘baby bouncer’ to keep our son entertained! Overall, we had a lovely stay and felt very safe and well looked after (even the bathrooms had little White Company toiletries for us to use – a very nice touch!). We will definitely be returning.

just got back from 2 weeks in this fabulous villa, what can I say it was perfect, it is what I would have expected of a 5 star hotel. as good as the villa was we spent most of the time in the outside area with the spectacular views over vlicha bay. we arrived late at night not knowing what to expect, we were not disappointed, everything was ready for us and the place was spotless, even the fridge was well stocked. russ the owner has done a brilliant job of the décor and it really felt like we were staying in someone's home. the bay itself was rather quiet with only a few hotels but the beach was good and the sea was crystal clear, a hire car would be an advantage. If you are looking for a nice relaxing holiday with all the comforts of home this is the place to come.

Villa Galini is a little piece of heaven! Such a well equipped and beautiful villa and our party including a child and young baby had a wonderful time. The outside dining area with views over the pool/garden area onto Vlicha Bay made for many a fine evening BBQ. Cannot fault this place and can't wait to go back!

The villa is beautiful, its like home from home. Loved having our own private pool too. Its a 2 minute walk to beach which means the views from the villa are lovely, didn't want to leave. Will be back to stay at the villa soon :)

Brilliant Villa with excellent location and views. Equipped with everything you could need or want. Very tastefully decorated, love the outdoor 'living' area and the privacy from the neighbouring villa and the pool of course. A very nice 'welcome pack' was provided for our arrival with the essentials before having to do a 'shop'. The meet and great from the Management Company on behalf of the owner was very professional, friendly and reassuring; nothing was too much trouble with regard our 'needs' and 'wants'. The garden is well thought out and cared for and it was lovely to sit on the seat at the bottom of the garden in the morning with a cup of tea or in the evening with a cold drink and take in the scenery and atmosphere of the bay and surrounding area and watch the world go by. Local supermarket for emergency supplies is two minutes walk down the hill or 5 minutes in the car, just before you turn to go down into the bay, for a bigger supermarket and cash machine, to stock up on groceries. The butchery department had an excellent choice of meat for the BBQ. Carrefour in Lardos handy for supplies too. It was lovely to come 'home' after exploring parts of the Island to relax in the outdoor 'living' area with music in the background or Wi-Fi entertainment on the ipad. You can either eat locally at the very friendly local taverna, hotel restaurant next door, or simply go down for a cold beer to the Rotunda bar and 'people watch' out over the bay before returning to the villa to BBQ if you choose. The owner obviously puts lots of love, care and attention to detail into the Villa, which is reflected in the obvious way guests look after it whilst on vacation. This is the ideal place for a relaxing vacation that is highly recommended. Hope to return and see what changes, if any have been made.

My family and I stayed at Villa Galini for almost all of September 2013 and had a superb holiday, thanks mainly to the villa being so wonderful. Russell, the Owner has thought of every attention to detail throughout the whole villa - you didn't want for anything and there were lovely touches everywhere, pictures, mirrors, vases, flowers. Every morning we woke up to beautiful views of the sea and would sit out on the balconies of the 2 bedrooms upstairs drinking freshly brewed coffee. The outside area of Villa Galini was even more special. Russell has completely landscaped the area with decking and tiling around the pool, raised beds and lots of pots with planting. The dining and sitting areas were lovely - well used and light relief from the sun or when we weren't in the pool swimming or playing with the children. Then at night ...... the lighting came on all around the outside area and was very romantic as well ! There are candles everywhere outside that you can light up. It really is as all the pictures indicate and on arrival we had no negative surprises at all (as sometimes holiday villas or hotel photos aren't true to form!) The Lindian Jewel Hotel is just a few minutes walk from the villa and great to stop and have a coffee or glass of wine. The bar food is good and so is the restaurant upstairs with the most beautiful panoramic views of the Agean Sea. There are a couple of grocery shops again, just a few minutes walk from the villa to get basics. A supermarket is only a couple of minutes in the car on the main road. There are also within 5-10 minutes walk 3 other hotels to go and have a drink. Lindos is amazing with its winding alleyways full of great restaurants and shops rand the Acropolis an absolute 'must see' - 5 minutes drive from the villa. Would recommend M&S Cars - they pick you up from the airport, your hire car is waiting for you at the villa when you get here and they also take you back to the Airport at the end of the holiday. Lovely husband and wife team who are in Haraki (great beach village to explore). A car is needed at the villa, unless of course you just want to chill by the pool or beach which is only a couple of minutes walk. Recommend several trips to Rodos Town - beautiful, a 45 minute drive and well worth it. Also a trip to Marmaris in Turkey which is an hour on the catamaran. A great family holiday.

We had a fantastic holiday at Villa Galini. Everything from the booking process onwards was run with such efficiency & professionalism and the owners obviously take such pride in their property. On arrival the hamper & complimentary toiletries were a lovely, welcoming surprise. The villa itself is very stylish, comfortable & homely. A fully equipped kitchen, wonderful seating areas, inside & out, lovely gardens and views & a very inviting pool, perfect for cooling off in the scorching heat. Everything we needed and more was provided as standard and we were very thrilled & fortunate to have the opportunity to call it home for the duration of our holiday. Vliha bay was a perfect choice for our destination. Very peaceful with a couple of restaurants & bars, long beach, sand & shingle and just a short ride into the lovely picturesque town of Lindos, lively enough with numerous bars & restaurants and a lovely sandy beach & Acropolis. I will definitely be returning to Rhodes and Villa Galini in the future.
