The purpose of my visit was to meet my new great nephew. And he is perfect. The home we stayed in was so nice. The kitchen and dining room we open and all areas a were easily accessible. The was adequate utensils and cooking items. Appliances were clean. The ice maker had a frozen “waterfall” in it but we defrosted the waterfall and was able to resolve the ice maker issue. We did not contact management as we knew how to correct the issue. The living room was warm and inviting. The tv worked well and it was easy to use. All four bedrooms were nice. There were two master suites - as we described them - that were great. They each had king sized beds. The mattresses were a little hard for us but everyone has their preference. The other bedrooms were children oriented. They were playful and colorful. Very nice. The bathrooms were nice as well. The shower floors were a little slippery so be careful making the step out. Water pressure was good and temp of the hot water was good. The pool was a nice addition. We enjoyed some pool time and were grateful to have a private pool.
The garage was turned into a game room. Pool table, football table and several other games were present. Very cool to have these things. Washer and dryer worked well. I would like to mention to the management company to make sure the trash can gets taken out as requested. We couldn’t take it to the road before we left as we left before the acceptable time to place it out.
Great experience and hope to return.

The house is located on a quiet gated community. We stayed over Christmas and paid extra for pool and hot tub heating. An excellent choice, the hot tub was separately heated and got really hot. Really appreciated in the cool Orlando weather. We ate out mostly but the kitchen seemed to have ample utensils. Usual american style washing machine and dryer. Could have had a starter pack of laundry gel but no great issue. Two spacious master bedrooms and a third shared by the other 2 bedrooms. Wifi worked well and a large TV in the main room. Overall excellent

We had a great stay at the Villa. House was perfect for our stay. It was safe, clean, spacious and comfortable. All our needs were met. Great communication with hosts.
The kids enjoyed the pool and game room. Walmart was nearby and Legoland was about 15 minutes away which grandkids enjoyed. We also found good places to eat nearby and visited Manny's Chophouse one evening. It was awesome! Great food and service. Totally recommend this Villa!

Julie was very helpful throughout both the booking experience and while we were at the house. The backayrd was huge, with no one looking into the pool area. We utilized the pool and spa for hours with our kids. Lots of room for 2 families to spread out. A great stay!

Enjoyed our visit. Kitchen was well stocked with all kitchen gadgets you could ever want. Large pantry to store food items which we found very helpful. Loved the access from the master bedrooms onto lanai. The area was secure and gated. We would recommend brighter lighting in family room to make reading easier.

Lots of personalized touches throughout the home that make you feel cozy. The home was clean and there was plenty to do. The kids enjoyed the pool and game room. We ended up extending our trip and Julie was a gem! She was so kind and highly recommend this property! We will definitely stay again next time we are in Florida.

Had a great stay here. Everything was as described in the listing. House was well furnished. Great location close to attractions. Gated neighborhood was fantastic, clean, and quiet. Spent most of the stay in the pool and on the pool patio!

Perfect Vacation
The house was exactly as advertised. There were blinds that were broken in two rooms but one call to the property manager was all that was needed as someone immediately came and took care of them. I most likely will return to the property as it was so relaxing for me.

wonderful Florida house
The property was well kept. House was nice and clean when we arrived. We had an issue with the AC, but when we contacted the owner, they were very prompt with getting maintenance over to the property to check it out. Turned out it was just an internet connection problem, so all was well after that.

We were very impressed, the house is well stocked and beautifully decorated. The pool was fabulous warmed up nice I love a warm pool. We we definitely stay again. Nice Vacation Home
Home is in a nice gated community. We wish we would have known that the TV system was a streaming system where a subscription was needed to watch most of the channel's, no local news channels were available. This was an unusual time with the Coronavirus hitting while we were there. This was a big disappointment to not be able to stay current with the news!! We loved the Master suite, the bathroom is awesome. We wished we would have paid for the pool & hot tub to be heated. It was very cold, even with the 80° weather we had. The local traffic noise was very loud, we had trouble sleeping at times. We wish there would have been a gas grill there instead of a charcoal grill. The owner was very good about corresponding with us. We spent alot of time at the house due to the virus hitting Florida. We enjoyed sitting by the pool and soaking up the sunshine and warm weather.

Many properties are listed as handicapped accessible, but upon further investigation, owners will reply that there is "only one small step" to enter the property. This is not handicapped accessible! The Little Mermaid Villa is totally accessible from the front door as well as out to the pool area. Floors are tiled and doorways are plenty large enough for a wheelchair or mobility scooter to pass through easily.I highly recommend this property for anyone travelling with someone with mobility issues.

Great Value, Perfect for Families
We absolutely loved our stay at the Little Mermaid Villa. The villa was clean and homey, and with two kings suites and a total of 4 twin beds, was perfect for our travels with my children and parents. John and Julie were wonderful at providing information regarding what we could expect and giving advice on the area we were staying. Their response to our inquiries prior to our visit was timely and filled with information, kindness, and humor. The pool is a great size and paying a bit more for heating it in January was worth every penny!
One word to those who rent: listen to Julie and settle in before making any grocery runs or such. This is truly a self-service villa and because we did not heed her advice we made a few extra trips to Walmart for extra toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap, etc. Many things (coffee filters, dishwasher tablets), were left by previous guests, but other things were not. A thorough accounting of this prior to making our Walmart trip would have been beneficial!

What a delightful place to stay while visiting Haines City, FL for the Ironman race! The property was well-maintained and easy to access. Directions were spot on. The décor of the villa was welcoming and comfortable. Will definitely recommend! Thank you for the opportunity to stay.

Lovely family sized villa, in an ideal location.
Had a lovely relaxing holiday in the Mermaid Villa. The villa is full of little extras to help with the holiday. The pool was lovely and clean, not overlooked.
The owners were very helpful and responded to queries very fast in a friendly manner.
Had an amazing time and would certainly book this villa again with no hesitation.

Home was lovely....
We came for a sad occasion but the home was lovely. I really enjoy my stay. I did like that the home was very spacious, decorated nice and most of all in the right place at the right time. We have family in the Hainescity Florida location and this Vacation Home sits in the heart of Hainescity,,, Now the cleaning crew can do a little better, but overall this home has everything that you need and more....

Excellent villa
We were a party of 8 comprising of 2 families and felt we had plenty of room. The villa is very well equipped and was spotlessly clean. Communication with the owners was excellent throughout.From the moment we viewed it on the website they were very prompt at answering any questions we had and this excellent communication was maintained throughout our stay if we had any questions. The owners had thought of everything from what there is to do in the surrounding area and recommendations for restaurants which we used.
We would highly recommend this villa.It is close to everything and is in a safe location with security. Thank you for all the time you have spent ensuring guests in your villa have a great and memorable holiday.

Little mermaid is a beautiful villa with a private pool. Not far from the theme parks. So many things to do apart from the parks and lots of good restaurants near by.

This property is excellent has everything you need
Had a great family holiday here myself, hubby and big kids 13 and 18 and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The villa is very clean and decorated to a high standard and is in a great location not far from all parks, shopping malls, supermarkets and food outlets. It has all you can ever need and if it hasn’t Julie the owner is in hand at all times to help and is only an email away. Pool and hot tub are amazing after a hectic day on your feet at the parks it’s nice to relax in your own villa at night. We will definitely 100% be staying here again with or without the “kids”. I would highly recommend staying at this villa be it for a family or couples holiday you can’t go wrong!!

Wonderful Winter Getaway!
Comfortable home with plenty of room when visiting family with teens came for a week to join us. Spacious pool area for lounging with table and chairs for 8 to eat outside under launi. Perfect pool heat and spa temps everyday so swimming in January and February was a tremendous treat! South facing pool gave us sun all morning and into late afternoon.
John & Julie are wonderful to correspond with and their management company ~ Perry and Tarlena are only a phone call away if questions or problems....can't say enough how great they were to deal with while we where there.
Short distance to anything you may need or want ~ shopping, restaurants, even an urgent care facility are less than five minutes from the villa. Most theme parks and attractions are less than an hour away and the beach is less than two hours.
No comparison to staying in a hotel versus your "own home" with your own private pool and spa!!

Amazing Relaxing Family Vacation
We stayed at the Little Mermaid Villa for the Easter Holiday 2017. From the first day we inquired about the rental we were given immediate attention! The owner's responded to all of my questions very quickly. On the day of our arrival, we received a call from the owners to ensure we had arrived safely and to see if we had any questions.
There were 6 of us including my husband, my parents our 3 and 7 year old. The layout of the villa is perfect! Plenty of space and beautifully arranged. We cooked most of our meals at the villa, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The grocery stores, farmers market and Walmart are so close, it was easy to buy what we needed! The property was beautiful and better than the pictures.
The highlight of our vacation was waking up every morning to swim in the pool! Our boys had a magical time swimming for hours! Our oldest son has asked to go back to the fun house.
We went to Legoland during our stay. Legoland was so close! Also, we did eat at a few of the restaurants that the owners recommended. They were wonderful especially the bar-b-que place, we ate there twice!
I would not hesitate to return to this property and I would highly recommend this for families.

Couldn’t have asked for a nicer location!
We enjoyed how spacious it was for all 9 of us to stay. We weren’t cramped at all. There were plenty of linens for the bedrooms, bathrooms and pool towels. Temperature of the pool was perfect.
