Second time I've stayed here! Friendly and helpful staff, good food, comfortable and convenient location.

The room was lovely and clean. Staff were friendly Had DVDs we could watch Breakfast was delicious

From what I could tell, it was basically it's a pub that serves meals. The room was tiny. I would have preferred a single bed which would have provided a bit of breathing space. (I realise it is an old property and all rooms are probably small). Check-in was a bit frantic even though I arrived at correct time, I felt I was a nuisance as they were so busy serving meals. Check out was also tricky as noone seemed to be around and I had a query. I definitely didn't feel I could go down and ask anything of staff as they were otherwise occupied. I thought it was overpriced for what it provided.

Bed was really worn so mattress dipped and the noise from the street was quite bad

The staff were great and very accommodating. They were very welcoming and helped with organising a taxi to a wedding in the area. The rooms were gorgeous and very comfy beds. Breakfast the next day was delicious and staff were very welcoming there also.

We had no complaints.

I was a bit annoyed to find the Booking.com rate was so much higher than the rate published at reception, especially as I had booked 2 rooms.

The breakfast was very good although I only had a small meal there was lots of choice if I wanted more. Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable. Good location near the Quay walls and town's facilities.

My room was above the dining room and was a bit noisy one night when there was a big group in.

Fabulous breakfast, served by lovely helpful staff. The hotel is just a short walk from the train station, and is well located to see all that Berwick has to offer. Will definitely stay here again.

Magnificent

Always love the food here, and we decided to stay over for Valentine's this year. We were not disappointed! The staff were amazing from start to finish! 5 start treatment, made our stay very special. Thank you all!
