Real Escapes Properties ist stolz darauf, das Belle Cottage in der 15. Straße in East Beach zu bieten. Dieses fabelhafte Strandhaus wurde vor über fünfzig Jahren an seinen jetzigen Standort verlegt und vor einigen Jahren sorgfältig und liebevoll restauriert. Das Haus befindet sich einen halben Block vom Zugang zum Strand von Goulds Inlet entfernt. Sie betreten das Haus in das gemütliche Wohnzimmer mit Kamin und großem Flachbildfernseher. Dies führt in die Küche und den Essbereich des Küchenchefs. Es gibt ein halbes Bad neben der Küche und eine begehbare Speisekammer. Nach der Küche im Erdgeschoss befindet sich das erste Hauptschlafzimmer mit einem Kingsize-Bett, einem TV und einem geräumigen Hauptbadezimmer mit einer begehbaren Glasdusche und einer Whirlpool-Badewanne sowie Doppelwaschbecken. Aus diesem Schlafzimmer gibt es auch Türen zum Poolbereich. Der zweite Meister ist auch von der Küche entfernt und verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, einen TV und ein Badezimmer mit Badewanne und Dusche. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich 4 zusätzliche Schlafzimmer und 2 Badezimmer. Das erste Schlafzimmer auf der linken Seite verfügt über 2 Einzelbetten und einen TV mit einem Jack-n-Jill-Bad, der zu einem weiteren Schlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett und einem TV führt. Die anderen 2 Schlafzimmer verfügen über Queensize-Betten, von denen eines über einen Fernseher verfügt, und sie teilen sich ein Jack-n-Jill-Bad. Das außergewöhnliche Ambiente dieses Hauses setzt sich im Hinterhof mit der Whirlpool-Pool-Kombination und einer großen Anzahl von Sitzgelegenheiten auf der Terrasse für Familien und Freunde fort.

Beautiful home and well supplied. View of the ocean from the front yard. Enjoyed crabbing, turtle observation and fishing all right there at Gould’s Inlet. Pool was great addition! We will be back.

Belle Cottage was the perfect house in the perfect location for our family of eleven to enjoy our summer vacation on St. Simons Island. The house gave us plenty of room to spread out and relax. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The location was very quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to the village for easy access to shopping and restaurants. The beach at Gould's Inlet is a very short walk from Belle Cottage! The folks at Real Escapes Properties were very quick and kind in responding to our questions. The house was very clean. We cannot say enough good things about this vacation rental!

Great location
This house is in a wonderful location….less than one block from Gould’s Inlet. You take a short boardwalk straight to beach. The sand dunes and sea oats are gorgeous. We had 12 people in our house—8 adults and 4 children under 10. The dining table was round and seats 7 max. Yes, there were counter bar stools to use—just be aware that it is hard to seat all that the house that sleep, particularly if all are adults. The kitchen had very basic pans to use if you do much cooking (we did.) The house could have been cleaner but I chalked this up to being a beach house! Be aware of what is listed as amenities and don’t assume anything else—there was no hair dryer anywhere! The pool area was nice. Overall it was a good house to rent and we would stay again.

We have 10 in our extended family, and the house had plenty of room for everyone. No one felt crowded at all. The pool is wonderful! Our only disappointment was the change in the beach near that house. A deep tidal pool has been created in the last few months that requires one to cross it to get to the actual beach. I don't know if that is a permanent thing or not. If the wooden bridge were extended, it would allow folks to walk across it to the beach.

The location of this home cannot be beat, just four houses from Goulds Inlet and beach. The rental company is wonderful; easy check-in, very responsive to requests and a delight to work with.
But the house is tired and needs a deep and thorough cleaning As a VRBO host myself, I may be pickier and more observant than others. The exterior of the house is dirty, windowsills are filthy and the doors need scrubbing. Inside the furniture is very nice and super comfortable. The kitchen however is a mess. There is no organization and it is difficult to find pots and utensils. The amazing pantry is jammed with leftover stuff from previous guests.
We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back. This is a five star location and with a little cleaning and attention, the house could be five star as well.

A great week at the beach
The house was very nice. The pool was a big hit. The house was a half block from the beach access and a half block from the bike trail. Everyone enjoyed the beach, the swimming pool, biking and paddling their kayaks.

Beautiful, spacious house, half block to BEST beach!
Our family (2 adults, 3 teens, 2 children) fit perfectly in this spacious house! Room for everyone to stretch out. The pool is great (although hot tub didn’t work) and you are a short 1/2 block walk to Gould’s Inlet, the best beach (IMHO) on the island. We rented bikes and it is very easy to get around the island on them. We liked being a bit further away from the village and public beaches (10 min drive?), but still close to restaurants. Towels and bedding were top notch, not like the threadbare stuff you see elsewhere. Really one of the better rental houses we’ve ever stayed in!

Each year our family of women-aunts and nieces get away during Labor Day weekend to reconnect and spend time together as our Grandmother taught us to do. This year was our first year in St. Simons and it did not disappoint! We didn't allow the threat of Hurricane Dorian to dissuade us from coming. We enjoyed learning about the history of the island from our tour guide. We enjoyed walks on the beach and spent quite a bit of time in the pool and hot tub. The house was large enough for our group of 11. The kitchen was fully equipped where we cooked breakfast and could make adult beverages to enjoy. We played games in the spacious living room. I actually slept on one of the twin beds, which normally is not that comfortable, but actually was. The only area of improvement I would suggest is a thorough cleaning. There was some dust and scuff marks throughout the house. It has quite a bit of charm and a thorough cleaning & some paint touch up would help it really shine and pop for visitors.

We rented Belle Cottage for a family Girls weekend. There were 9 of us. We had plenty of room and everyone had so much space to spread out. The Kitchen was fabulous because we could all sit around the table and talk. Plenty of bathrooms for everyone and the pool with hot tub was fantastic. This is a great home with all the amenities. Adequate Though it could be a very nice house, it needs some serious repairs: the kitchen faucett, the dishwasher, the clothes dryer, the television in the living room, no knobs on furniture drawers, the headboards are not even connected to the mattresses and the mattresses are very old. The house was clean except for the kitchen, which was very dirty, all the drawers, and cupboards. There were 5 small plates literally swimming in butter, and very few glasses, none of which matched others. The ovens were very dirty and haven't been cleaned in a long time. Also the sheets were threadbare.
