We had a wonderful time staying here. The property is stunning and the view, breathtaking. The house was set up well for a number of families as each room has its own bathroom and there are plenty of communal areas and space. We had great fun in and around the pool. I would definitely recommend staying here and would book to stay here again. Isabel has been a fantastic host.
If you are thinking of booking, there are some things to be aware of -
- There are a lot of stairs from the kitchen area to the pool, if you struggle with stairs or have small children this may be tricky. We ended up getting a cool bag and taking drinks and food to the pool side.
- The kitchen is small, but it has everything you need.
- A car is essential in this area.
- Make sure you read the welcome pack on arrival, it’s got some key info in it about your hot water and it’s also really informative.
I saw in a previous review that they said the property needed updating. There are some updates required but it’s nowhere near as bad as the review stated. The house is authentic, which we loved.
Over all, a thoroughly wonderful place and wonderful hosts.

Isabel's and Sylvain's villa was probably the best decision we could have made for accommodation in Javea. It has everything you can imagine: Incredible views over the Mediterranean sea on both floors (and one bedroom), a very large pool (too bad it can't be lit at night, but I'm certainly one of the very few night swimmers ;), huge terraces, a fireplace and even two barbecue areas. The property is huge: there are 5 bedrooms on two levels and even a small, second living room! The price is an absolute bargain, especially if you occupy this space with a large family or friends. Over the years, a few things are of course no longer in mint condition (a former guest had complained on Vrbo about this), but from my own experience I can say: not every guest takes good care of things and therefore it is impossible to keep such a large property in owner condition. However, the service in case of problems was excellent and as I said, Isabel and Sylvain rent at a more than fair price! We would be happy to stay at the villa again.

We loved the pictures and location of this home. We were traveling with our family to celebrate milestone birthdays, anniversaries and events. We chose Javea because my Scottish grandparents had retired here in the 1960' until late 70's.
We kept this property a secret until we arrived. We wanted the family to be surprised and they certainly were!! From the drive to the address, catching glimpses of the sea, to the entry from the road....they were all excited and in awe of the beautiful landscape and plants. Enterring the house was overwhelming because it was even more beautiful than the pictures. The view is breathtaking from every room!
This house is like a resort and we felt like celebrities to have such a wonderful space all to ourselves. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed our time here together.
We found great grocery stores and restaurants within 5 minutes to 20 minutes drive. We went to Valencia twice for a paella cooking class and silk scarf painting class. We went to surrounding beaches amd exploed some of the rocky coasts.
During our stay, Isabel was in contact with us frequently and the check in and check out was very simple. There were suggestions for restaurants and lots of information about the area.
I highly recommend this home and I cant wait to return!!

Although the views are stunning , the actual villa itself is VERY tired. We contacted the owner who does not live in Spain and an agent Nicole was sent asking us to wattsapp our grievances. 27 pictures of complaints were sent showing stained linen, cushions , seats, rugs, poor general maintenace, even some bedrooms smelling of drains or damp, lights not working, kitchen doors broken, cracked and worn furniture...the list is endless. We had no hot water in one room and we were told a plumber would come but they didnt. This villa needs some TLC and money spent on it as the photos that are advertised are not what the villa is in reality. We were SO disappointed in the poor attention to detail. This villa is a money maker for the owner who has not put any of that money back into the property for years in order to make it a pleasant experience for their guests. Although it has huge potential , I would not recommend anyone to stay there until the maintenance and refresh of the property is complete.

The views are spectacular, the house is positioned on a hill you are not overlooked. Despite a few teething issues all was resolved very promptly thanks to the owner Isabel who was brilliant in responding. The house is well appointed and has everything you could ask for. There are a series of steps to get down to the various levels so would be difficult for an elderly person or young children. However the views are gorgeous and worth the decline.

The villa fulfilled our dreams of a family holiday.
Just a couple of points worth mentioning...the balustrade to the right of the pool when facing the sea seemed to have a slight movement. We thought if a heavy person was to lean on it, there was a danger of collapse. The tap in the shared bathroom was extremely loose, and probably just needs adjusting.

After a two year wait because of covid, we finally managed to get to Villa Agavea and it was well worth the wait. The Villa accommodationĺ, scenery and surrounding area were wonderful. We would not hesitate in booking again in the future.

Something for everyone in this villa. Lots of space, plenty of comfort and multiple areas to dine with our family. Spectacular views of the bay, pool and poolside equipped for sunbathing or taking in the view. ( in my family’s case- workouts and TikTok videos) . Property has all we needed from cooking equipment to seating for all. Bedrooms all very spacious, bbq useful and lots of shaded areas by pool. Close to supermarkets . Host was most helpful with information before and during our stay. Truly amazing experience has by all of us during our holiday time. Thank you

Stunning Views
We were supposed to to in 2020, but... well.. covid... then last year our grandchild was born in the March, we had to postpone, Isabel was fantastic and so understanding and moved out holiday yet again. We finally got there this June. When we arrived, apart from the villa being lovely, the views are incredible. There are a lot of steps down to the pool, so we can back fitter lol.. but worth it, so amazing.

There are very few views as spectacular as this Villa. A lot of stairs to the pool but it is more than worth it. Amazing week here. Not great or little ones or anyone not able to navigate stairs or heights. Love the area as well.

A little slice of heaven
We had a wonderful stay in May 2022. Set in a quiet and charming neighbourhood on a beautiful part of the coast. Breathtaking views from when you enter through the patio doors in the lounge, the terrace is a great spot to just relax and listen to the waves.
Inside the villa is homely and very comfortable, tastefully decorated and well furnished with a good stock of books, games and toys. Kitchen has everything you need and more to prepare meals and a good size fridge freezer. Lovely pool area with more fantastic views, as listing states there are lots of steps down to pool area - we had no major issues apart from a few of the steps down to level 2 struggling to drain water when it rained heavily but it soon cleared when the rain stopped.
Isabel was an excellent host, we originally booked for 2020 and the rearranging of plans in reactions to lockdown were handled very quickly and with little stress - we are so pleased we finally got to come and enjoy such a beautiful home. We were provided with very detailed information on all aspects of our stay - ensuring we were comfortable and armed with local recommendations. A lovely welcome basket greeted us on arrival. We had a slight issue with hot water on the second floor and this was sorted promptly by the local key holder.
Locally, lots of supermarkets nearby and the local village has a lot of lovely places to eat out that serve great, freshly prepared food. Moraira was a great beach for our little boy to paddle - would highly recommend.

De perfecte vakantiewoning voor familie of vrienden reünie
Een fantastische lokatie en veeeel plaats. Super uitgeruste keuken, alle kamers met airco of verwarming, gezellig en praktisch ingericht. Uitleg over het huis en vele praktische tips waar en wat te doen in de buurt ligt voor je klaar en contact persoon ter plaatste is altijd beschikbaar. Wij hadden een familie reünie en hebben enorm genoten!! Onder het huis is een constructie gaande maar daar hebben we weinig last van gehad. Wij hopen volgend jaar er weer naartoe te kunnen.

Cap de la Nau
Words cannot describe the moment when you walk in the door and are overwhelmed by the site before you. It's breathtaking. The panoramic views cannot not be duplicated. The kitchen has all of the necessary dishes, pots, pans, cutting boards, utensils, etc. We were a party of 10 and we had plenty of those items. The community spaces were cozy. The beds were very comfortable. Throughout the home, there were small touches of kindness - a gift basket of treats on the kitchen table, nicely rolled towels, aircon turned on prior to our arrival, etc. We did have one issue with plumbing and I even hesitate to mention it, but I realize I am in the position to say hey, yes we had an issue AND our host and the home caretaker were on it. Guests like to know they can rely on their host and I can vouch for them. Isabel and Pepe were on it immediately and did what they could while we were occupying the house. It is beyond evident that the owner and caretaker both have a love and pride for this home. We feel beyond blessed to have stayed there and hope we will be fortunate enough to return.

Whilst booking we were impressed already, but pictures only tell half the story.
The entrance is already amazing and the view over the Mediterranean sea is gorgeous.
The villa is very very nice, and has everything you need to enjoy a holiday there.

Amazing views
As with other reviews, the absolute highlight are the views from the property - I was happy to sit for hours staring out to sea ... and we even got to see dolphins frolicking!
The villa itself is lovely, really comfy beds - really well equipped and we had a lovely welcome package. There are a lot of stairs from the pool to the villa (which is why you get those wonderful views) - but just helped to burn off all the ice cream!!!

Whauu, super villa with great views
After a long search for a villa that could meet all requirements. So as good space, many bedrooms, bathrooms and good common area with room for more activities, was the choice this villa.
What an amazing experience, right from the start Isabel was quick to respond to everything, and has provided a service beyond all expectations. The villa met all requirements + much more.
There are so many places where everyone can gather, many places where you can relax - all with the most amazing views.
The villa is a wonderful base for a great holiday, we will definitely be back.

Stunning Views and a Lovely Villa
We stayed in this fabulous location in September 2019.
Dealing with Isabel the owner was a pleasure and she was quick to respond to all my thousands of questions prior to staying at the villa. She catered very will for our 8 month old by providing a very nice travel cot, high chair and lots of toys for him to play with.
The villa itself was to a very high standard with everything you need to make your stay comfortable.
Nothing will prepare you for the view from the balcony when you walk through the door. Bring some binoculars like we did for watching the boats, jet ski's and snorkelers in the bay below.
We stay in the Granadella/Ambolo area a lot and apart from the views being the main attraction, there are a lot of nice places nearby within a short drive. It takes about 10 minutes to reach Arenal beach by car and maybe 7 minutes by car to the large Consum supermarket nearby which carries everything you'll need for your stay. You must also try Everest Spice nearby for a great Indian or Nepalese meal.
I would not hesitate to recommend this villa instantly to friends and family. There are a lot of steps to navigate down to the pool from the main villa and from the main villa up to street level so it would not be suitable for disabled people.
We'd like to thank Isabel for her hospitality both before and during our stay. No doubt we'll be back in the future :)

Fijne villa met veel ruime kamers, twee aparte verdiepingen een geweldig gelegen zwembad met ligbedden, een buiten eetplaats en geweldig uitzicht over de Middellandse Zee.

Wunderschöne Villa in traumhafter Lager
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt. Die Villa liegt wunderschön und ruhig in Balcon al Mar. Der Ausblick ist phantastisch - egal ob von der Hauptterrasse oder der Poolebene.
Man merkt dem Haus an, dass es von den Besitzern noch genutzt wird - alles ist ausreichend und in guter Qualität vorhanden (vom Geschirr über die Hand- und Pooltücher bis hin zu den Liegen und Sonnenschirmen am Pool sowie Sitz- und Rückzugsgelegenheiten). Rückfragen wurden von der Besitzerin umgehend beantwortet und auch der Ansprechpartner vor Ort war sehr nett und sofort zur Stelle, wenn wir etwas gebraucht haben.
Wir empfehlen das Haus gerne weiter und kommen selbst auch gerne wieder.

Short trip to this wonderful house
Overall we only had positive experience with Isabel and the house.
As a preparation for the holiday Isabel provided access to a website with different kind of activities and specific information how to reach the house the fastest way from the airport.
We also requested to enter the house a few hours earlier than agreed as our flight schedule changed and we arrived earlier than planned (this would not be a negative point in case the early arriving was not possible as this depends on the booking before, but this shows that Isabel tries to fulfil the wishes from the customer).
The stay itself was wonderful - the view is absolutely amazing and we really enjoyed spending time in the pool and having an insane view while having diner/breakfast/lunch.
The equipment is very modern, especially in the kitchen. The house is also equipped with a large TV, a Xbox and PlayStation as well as different kind of Family Games.
We also found a welcome package in the house with some Spanish food and some equipment for the bathrooms.
Overall we had no problems and there was no need to contact our local contact person who would be able to help us (the contact details were also provided by Isabel before arrival).
During the stay Isabel also reached out to us to make sure everything is good and we are enjoying the stay.
We really appreciated the good preparation from Isabels end and the house itself. This was a wonderful week which we enjoyed - we are already thinking about coming back next year.
