1. Safety hazard. The apt was converted to a loft but I’m not sure if that is according to the building code. The loft level was done with plywood as bottom structure. Not sure if that is the French building standard. There is also big gaps on the spiral stairs up to the loft. A child could fall through! 2. The A/C is not powerful enough to cool down the entire apt. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

The location

Everything as it should

Great location right in the marina. Comes with a parking spot, aircon and is very clean. It has a gorgeous sea cabin cachet. Super easy to get the keys and Maxime was very helpful.

With the central location comes noise in the summer. Bars are close and unfortunately have singing bands in the evenings…

There was no WiFi and no towels in the bathroom. The place to pick up the keys was hard to find, but the host tried very hard to help us.

The apartment has been refurbished to a high standard and is in the heart of the harbour area among the bars and restaurants. It is well appointed with all the equipment that you would need to self cater. There is a lift to get up to the 2nd floor.

When we arrived we had no directions to get to the place to pick up the keys or which car park to enter (there are 2 for the residence) Eloise, the lady we spoke with on the mobile spoke French and gave directions on how to open a key box, at a closed pizza place and how to find the apartment, It was difficult to understand and if you didn't speak fluent french it would have been impossible, it took us 3/4 hour to find the parking and get into the apartment. We also paid 30 euros for a linen pack for 2 of us (one bed for one night) this did not include towels! It would have been much easier to have a map/plan sent in advance with the details to follow. If you keep the windows open it is very noisy. The shower didn't drain away properly. The TV has only 6 working channels.
