Thank you Paulo and family for an amazing stay in your wonderful villa. The villa is very modern with lots of space for everyone. The terraces were large with great sea views. The outdoor areas were excellent with the pool a particular highlight that everyone really enjoyed. The bikes were an added bonus that we got great use from. Location was good and restaurants, shops etc. all within 10-15mins. Overall an outstanding villa and one of the nicest we have ever stayed.

This was the perfect villa for our family of 7 including 2 young children. Paulo and his wife and son were incredibly welcoming and always happy to help. The villa is stunning and incredibly spacious. The pool was perfect for our 2 small children with a shallow section that enabled them to play safely. The town is only a short walk away with plenty of nearby restaurants, bars and cafes. A great place to visit and we shall definitely revisit the area again and couldn’t recommend staying at this villa any more highly.

Our family of six (two parents, four young adult children ranging in age from 17 - 24) had a wonderful stay at the Gaspar's home June 4-14, 2022. Paolo, his wife, and son met us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The home is well-maintained, clean, safe, and so conveniently located in the Algarve. A couple of issues came up in the beginning (Wi-Fi cut out) but all were addressed quickly and resolved. It was easy to communicate with Paolo via What's App and he was very responsive. Our children loved having their own bedroom suites with large closets and their own bathrooms. Sheets and towels were clean, crisp, and high quality. Although the air was cool at night when we were there, we did use the A/C in the evenings when we had lights on to keep mosquitoes from coming in (more of a nuisance we didn't want to deal with). We enjoyed views from the roof deck, swimming in the pool (which has a nice shallow kids area as well as deeper water for lap swimming), and a well-appointed kitchen. If you like to cook, the kitchen has everything you'd ever need. We used the washing machine and hung clothes out to dry - which they did quickly in the sun. There is plenty of outdoor seating and lounge chairs and an outdoor BBQ area which we did not use. In terms of convenience, we chose the home due to the close proximity to town. We enjoyed evening strolls to get gelato or to walk along the boardwalk. Food is important to us and we enjoyed the following restaurants: Chef's Kitchen (walkable), Bon Bon (Michelin star restaurant - fantastic) , Oleao de Porches (the wife of the owner of Bon Bon owns this restaurant), and Cafe Fino for breakfast/brunch/coffee. Two supermarkets are close by - Intermarche and Apolonia. We preferred Apolonia as we found fruits and vegetables were fresher there. The location of the home and Carvoeiro in general turned out to be wonderful. We flew into Lisbon, rented cars (make sure to get toll tags), and took day trips as far west as Sagres and east to Tavira. We did a kayak tour as a family to the Benagil caves and along the coast line and the beach where we met the guides at was only 15 minutes from the house. The Algar Seco is close by too. We enjoyed our stay, highly recommend this home for families, and recommend Carvoeiro for an unforgettable Algarve experience! Many thanks to Paolo and his family!

There were 10 in our party 6 Adults and 4 Children. The property is very spacious very large bedrooms and bathrooms very well equipped kitchen, lovely outside eating area large lounge with large tv. Excellent pool plenty of sun loungers. It is a 10 minute walk to beach and large choice of restaurants down a fairly steep hill. Paulo met us when we arrived with drinks and was always available by phone. We all had a wonderful holiday and would recommend it to other families.

Had a fantastic holiday in Paulo’s Villa. Paulo contacted us the day before arrival asking if we wanted to check in early which was really beneficial as we were already in the area. He welcomed us to the villa with a tour around and showed us how everything worked. All the rooms were huge and much more spacious than the photos depicted. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was a bonus as there were 9 of us staying. Also 2 of the bedrooms were downstairs which was a bonus as one of our party was less mobile. The villa was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The walk in to town was down 2 hills and took us 10 minutes and not much longer to get back up. The town has a good selection of bars and restaurants. Our favourite bar being Bote overlooking the beach. The Indian restaurant Pani was fantastic. Great food and spectacular views over the sea. We loved the fact that there was plenty of inflatables for the pool which we were able to use and bikes for the kids to play on. The outside table area under the cover gave lots of shade during the day and was a natural hub for socialising in the evening. 2 big supermarkets within 5 mins drive. Also water parks and Zoomarine within half an hour. I would highly recommend Paulo’s villa to anyone looking for a very relaxing stay in luxury. I hope that we will return there again. Beautiful villa that has everything you need! We were two families (4 adults and 5 kids age 8-14) spending two weeks in July/August 2018. Paulo and Fatima gave us a warm welcome with soft drinks, snacks and ice-cream. During our visit Paulo sent us messages checking that we were satisfied. Good service! The house is great! Spacious, fantastic kitchen, barbecue and large bed- and bathrooms. Very clean and tidy. Lovely swimming pool and outside area. The villa is located 12 minutes walk from Carvoeiro centrum, 5 minutes drive to supermarket Intermarche and 6 minutes to Apolonia. We give it our highest recommendation and hope to come back! Paulo and his wife Fatima gave us a warm and generous welcome to this amazing property. The house is perfectly equipped with everything you may need, incredibly spacious and clean. The beds are very comfortable, and all bedding is in great condition. The outdoor space is very well configured, with great dining space in the shade. The top floor terrace has amazing views to the sea and again a cosy dining space under a canopy shade. A friendly cleaner comes twice a week, as does the pool boy. The property is located in a very safe area and we had no concerns whatsoever. I would not hesitate to book this villa again. We really enjoyed Carvoeiro town and its beach - all within walking distance, and the many other gorgeous beaches which are within a short drive away. Thank you again Paulo and Fatima.

Stayed from Mon 12th - 19th Sept. Week's stay before our Daughter's Wedding. What a Find !!! What a great location !!! What a place to stay !!! Just got back from Carvoeiro for our Daughter's perfect Wedding in this gorgeous part of Portugal , and we really didn't want to come home. We stayed for the first 7 days of our 10 day trip in this fantastic Villa , which was luxury through and through, with 4 out of 5 bedrooms with full en-suite , with the 5th having toilet and wash basin. The bedrooms were huge and and all with walk - in wardrobes , and air-con. Beautiful decor throughout , and fantastic kitchen and outside bbq , just added to our great week's stay . There were 7 of us and our 2yr old grandson , and we never once got under each other's feet , as the Villa was massive inside and out. The pool was huge aswell , and bigger than the pictures show. Our Grandson had a ball all week in there, and it was warm enough to swim in it in the evenings , which was a great bonus compared to Hotels. Paulo met us with information and a beer , along with his Wife and Daughter , who were all lovely , warm , and genuinely nice people who couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be back in the near future , and wouldn't hesitate in recommending this great Villa , which is easily the best we've ever stayed in !!! We were met by Paulo and his lovely family on arrival at their beautiful villa, they took time to show us around the house and how everything worked. We all sat and had a beer around the pool, before they left, in which time he gave us maps and all local info we might need. We had a wonderful week in this amazing house, we were a party of seven with 3children, the kids are real water babies and it was hard to get them out of the pool in the evening although this may not be suitable if the kids are too young as the pool is deep. The villa is very spacious with equal sized well suites not rooms the en suites were huge with lovely showers. The kitchen is state of the art with everything and more you could possibly need, The outside kitchen and barbecue is great too, and the peach trees were divine. The local town and beach, with all the walks, caves and restaurants (can reccomend the cocktail bar on the beach who do an amazing strawberry mojito) is lovely and very family orientated. We hope to visit is amazing house again in the future for another wonderful holiday, so thank you Paulo, Fatima and your children.

Villa Cascade is a light, spacious and modern Villa situated in a residential area 10 - 15 minutes walk from the town centre. We found that all of the bedrooms and en suite bathrooms were very large and the layout worked really well being centred around the extremely well equipped kitchen and bbq area. The gardens and swimming pool received good sunshine throughout the day and the roof terrace was an excellent addition to the holiday. Having Wi-Fi and all of the towels provided was really useful, as was the warm welcome from Paulo and his family who showed us around and explained the villa to us. We would certainly recommend the Villa as a fantastic place to stay in Carvoeiro. DavidB

We arrived at Cascade House to be met by Paulo and his family, after showing us around the house we all sat down and had drinks, Paulo gave us a lot of information regarding places to eat and visit and then let us explore the house by ourselves. We are a family of 6 adults and 2 children, the house is exceptional with a fantastically equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ, 5 spacious bedrooms all en suite and lounge areas with TV's, WIFI, stereo with chess board and other games. Below in the garage are a number of bikes (perhaps they could have been in better condition) which were used by 2 adults. The pool was the focus of our daily activity and everybody especially the children 12 & 9 years of age really enjoyed it. We visited 4 restaurants during our stay which were all excellent and good value. The house was very clean and is in a first class condition and we could not fault anything about it, the location is within about 15 mins walk to Carvoeiro and we would highly recommend the property and location to anyone visiting the Algarve. Paulo, you are a lucky man, you have a lovely wife, delicious peaches, a fruit tree laden with plums and a little piece of Paradise that is your villa. We spent a fabulous week in your home and struggled to leave. There was everything we could have wanted and more. Jamie Oliver would have struggled to use all the kitchen utensils available. Any Aussie would have felt at home with the BBQ. The infinity pool was fabulous anytime of the day, private and great for fun or swimming. The meals we had in the centre of Carvoeiro were all recommended in a magazine from the house and were in the top ten on trip advisor. All superb and within easy walking distance of the villa. If you are reading this review and hesitating about pressing the right buttons, don't, you will miss out on a beautiful villa.

The pictures of this villa are stunning and they still don't do it justice. You really need to see it in person to realise just how much time, effort and money has been put into making this place perfect. I didn't think such a place would ever be within my budget. We arrived slightly later than expected because our flight was delayed but we still received a very warm welcome from Paulo, Fatima and Mafalda. We were given a quick tour of the house including the roof terrace which has a beautiful sea view and dining area. Fatima then kindly brought us some drinks and snacks while Paulo explained the all the house essentials. We were also told we could phone any time day or night and for any queries/problems we had. The house is very spacious and is kitted out with all the household items you could possibly need. We cooked breakfast and lunch in the villa every day and sat in the outdoor dining area which overlooks the pool. Each bedroom is equipped with it's own en-suite and walk in wardrobe. The en-suite bathrooms were bigger than all of the rooms in my house!! Each room also has remote control air conditioning. The pool is a great size for swimming lengths and is a good depth throughout. There are also plenty of comfortable sun loungers by the pool. The pool and garden area is positioned to get good sun exposure all day. The house is also in a great location; it's far away enough from the centre to be peaceful and quiet at night, but it is close enough to walk into the centre of Carvoeiro (about 20 mins) where the main bars and restaurants are or Monte Carvoeiro (10 mins) which also has a good but smaller selection of places to eat and drink. Monte Carvoeiro also has a supermarket which has the basics but the nearest big supermarket (Intermarche) is about 3km away so you would need to take a car there (or cycle as we did). Overall we had a fantastic holiday here, it was surprise 50th birthday present for my Mum and a don't think we could've picked a better place, she was delighted. I would definitely not hesitate to go back here for my next holiday. Thanks again Paulo!

Paulo and Fatima were at the villa to welcome us into their well equipped and stocked villa. Our party of 7 adults had a fantastic stay easily walking into Carvoeiro during the day and for evenings out. If we had read the weather forecast we would never have arrived as this indicated rain every day of our stay. We found however that Carvoeiro must have a micro climate as the rain pretty much avoided us, despite clouds over Portimao. We booked this villa because we all wanted a nice bedroom. So many others offered master accommodation and lesser quality bedrooms for other guests, and Cascade did not disappoint. All of the bedrooms have superb en suite bathrooms and the individual air con to each room is a lovely touch. The central location of the kitchen was also very important so that the nominated cook was still very much part of the group and again this villa does not disappoint. We hired two cars and there was plenty of room for both to be parked off road and even put into the garage (we however chose not to). The living space and some of the bedrooms are all on one floor and this makes life very easy too. The airport (Faro) is within easy reach as are many other facilities, making the villa a good central point to explore other coastal towns and the mountains too. The residential area feels very safe, quiet and pleasant. The villa is not built in a traditional Portuguese style but is fully equipped and is spacious and glamorous. It is hard to appreciate the size of the pool from the photos as they do not do it justice. A winner. Thank you Paulo and Fatima.

Well, nobody is telling lies - the villa is amazing. The listing details and pictures are completely accurate. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and finished to an extremely high standard, even down to the Zara bedding and towels. Very nice touch having a maid (nice lady, smiley and quietly worked away in the background) to change linen etc. Paulo (the owner) was brilliant to deal with, from enquires before booking to getting our security deposit back on returning home. He responded quickly and thoroughly.We relaxed instantly as we were warmly welcomed by Paulo and his family. It felt like we were staying in a friends home rather than a business transaction! I think that is what the pictures don't capture, the villa is so bright and open with a lovely, homely atmosphere. OUR GROUP: 9 in total, from grandson 9yrs to granddad 71yrs. OUR WISH LIST: luxury, high spec accommodation..................................tick space for privacy along with great communal areas..............tick stunning pool, big enough for games and relaxing.................tick feel safe and secure...............................................................tick good neighbourhood, safe walk to amenities.........................tick restaurants, bars, shops, beaches within 20 mins walk..........tick The villa isn't cheap but you get what you pay for and we got everything we wanted and more! It was excellent value for money. We have never eaten in so often in a villa - it was a pleasure to cook in that gorgeous kitchen with every appliance and utensil you could ever need plus the outdoor kitchen and eating area was amazing. The terraces were vast and pure luxury to escape onto the roof terrace with a book. Carvoeiro is a lovely little town, very family orientated, quiet but with plenty of restaurants and bars, many with beautiful views over the sea. The pedestrianised square in the centre has a large stage, just behind the beach, and is the hub in the evening. There is live music which adds to the ambience. Thank you Paulo - I would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone. I absolutely loved this villa and Carvoeiro and must add something else to OUR WISH LIST: RE-BOOK...............

As with previous guests Paulo and his family were there waiting for us to give us a tour of the house and to offer us a welcome drink which was indeed very welcome. They were very genuine and friendly and made sure we were fully settled before they left. The house is excellent and much better than the photos show, the size of the rooms are excellent and all the bedrooms have large en-suite bathrooms with towels provided. The kitchen has every appliance you could ever need and the swimming pool was great for cooling down as temperatures were in the 30's. Again towels were provided so no need to fill your case by bringing your own. In fact everything you could need is there and Paulo was in contact by email several times just to make sure we were happy with everything. The location is 15 minutes walk outside the town and an easy walk as it is all down hill, not too bad to walk back but taxi's are about 5 Euros so it was an easy decision for us !! There are lots of bars and nice restaurants in Carvoeiro and local shops and supermarkets for the shopping. All in all a great holiday and next time we are in the Algarve we will definitely stay here again. We would certainly recommend this villa to anyone, thanks Paulo.

Paulo and his family were already waiting for us to arrive as our flight was delayed. At arrival, we were quite surprised that the electricity was not working in Carvoeiro... Paulo showed us the house with candle lights and promised that he wouldn't leave us in the dark. At the end of the tour a nice refreshing welcome drink was at our disposal and finally the electricity came back... The house offers everything as described. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. There is always enough space for everybody - we were 4 couples and 1 single, 9 persons in total. The swimming pool is of good size... the kitchen is just a dream for everybody who likes to cook... globally the house is very modern and the decoration is of good taste... Moreover the roof top terrasse with a nice sea view is "the cherry on the cake" - the ideal place for sunset aperos... We were very satisfied with our stay in this wonderful vila. Paulo was so helpful and always at our disposal when we needed him. The cleaning lady came twice a week. Carvoeiro is well located for sightseeing and going to the beach. I can recommend the vila without any problem.

We were two families for two weeks(kids aged from 5-18...all loving it) . Our forth time to Carvoeiro. This residence was just perfect :-). The House has all you can ask for and more.... Just 10-15 minutes walk to Carvoeiro with many good restaurants. Also a couple of high rated (trip advisor) restaurants very lose to the House (L'Orange and Vila Nova). 10 minutes drive to many beautiful beaches (the best are Praia Grande, Benagil and Caneiros). The House was very trendy and clean(full clean service twice a week). Huge roof terrace with greate sea view. Very nice bathrooms, bedrooms and livingrooms. The outdoor area, with very nice swimmingpool and grill area. The pool was bigger than pictures tell :-). I can really recommend the place and the House. We will be back :-)

A fantastic holiday for my family and I. The villa was beautiful, clean, spacious and very modern and the added bonus of a house and pool cleaner made the whole experience better than we anticipated. Paulo and his wife were the perfect hosts who were warm, friendly and humorous and they made us feel that their home was our home.The location of the villa was a 15 minute walk into Carvoeiro town which had a many restaurants, a nice beach, vibrant nightlife and a variety of shops to meet our needs. This was the ideal holiday and we would definitely stay at this lovely luxury villa again.

Sensational modern villa with so much space, we were 7 adults + 1 infant and found everything was just right for a wonderful holiday.The brochure publicity wes extremely accurate and without any exageration. The villa and gardens were great for relaxation and within a short walk of the resort amenities and local beaches. The owner was there to welcome uis on arrival and was very thorough in going through all the facilities in the villa, he was also available by telephone and e mail during our stay in case of queries. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from in Carvoerio and handy local shops and supermarkets for the shopping. Other resorts, golf courses and waterparks within a few miles so no problems with things to do if you want to leave this wonderful location for a change! No hesitation in recommending this villa!!

Villa: is beautiful. Nicely designed; all rooms are a good size, well furnished & well equipped. Outside space: although not quite finished (the villa is brand new) it is lovely. The pool is much larger than expected. There are plenty of loungers & chairs & a nice dining area. The main part of the garden gets the sun all day. Location: excellent. 10 minute walk to the nearest restaurant and shop, and a short taxi ride to the main drag of restaurants. You can walk into town in about 15 or 20 minutes. Owners: very welcoming & friendly; they seemed genuinely committed to making sure we enjoyed our stay. They were also very quick to respond to any questions. Overall: we would recommend this villa. We wanted a luxury holiday where we could relax by a private pool in the day & stroll into town in the evening, & that's exactly what we got.

We were very impressed with the villa when we arrived it was very large and clean in a quite setting, Paulo and his wife were very welcoming, with 4 adults and 4 young children there was more than enough space for us to live and relax, everything we could need was supplied with the villa and the pool was clean and great fun fun for the children. We felt safe and secure with electric sutters on every door and window, The location was great as just a short walk into Carvoeiro, which had a beautiful beach with lots of lovely bars and restaurants to hand!
