The staff was wonderful! The place was clean, but needed a few small repairs. (We did not complain).
The exterior reeked of marijuana. (Again, we did not complain, nothing can be done about the students around there.)
The room above us had a small child that woke up early and sounded like he/she was bowling. (No, we did not complain......what could they do??) The rooms need to be insulated or sound proofed.

Surprisingly, the bed was clean and comfortable.
We paid in advance for 1 king room and 1 double and the double was given to another couple with our last name and we got 2 king rooms for our family of 5 with no apology or attempt to make it right.
The halls smelled of cigarette smoke and weed even though it was a supposed to be a smoke-free facility.
There was a roach in one of our rooms, the bathroom door was broken at the latch, like someone had tried to use a crowbar to open it. The carpet in the hallways was so gross. One of our room floors was clean, but the other was sticky in some spots and greasy in others.
There is nothing extra about this hotel, it was just an overpriced. No shampoo, no conditioner, no breakfast. My kids used the employee restroom and there was no working sink for them to wash their hands. If this was the last hotel left in town, maybe stop bc the bed was comfy.

We did not like the property at all … We walked in the hallway had a undesirable smell and the bathroom in our room was not clean to our standards . It just was not clean . We walked out and booked rooms at different hotel . This is the first time we have walked out and refused to stay in a hotel that we have pre-booked . It was a costly $200.00+ mistake … I have been using booking.com for years and never had a problem before . This hotel was rated an 8.0 . There is no way it should have this rating … I based my reservation on that rating, big mistake on my part . Maybe I should try a different app for booking hotels .

Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Wasn’t the cleanest but to be fair it was sold out 2 of the 3 nights we stayed. The stove top didn’t work and TV remote was painfully slow.

The location was good
Well, what I didn’t like about the property is that the front guest rep was outside smoking and smelled loud is pot. The front seemed to have a lot of people just sitting and drinking.

The towels and bedsheets were dirty. There was hair all over the towels, and bedsheets. The refrigerator hasn’t been cleaned and the hallways were filthy. The staff was dressed like they just got out of bed.

Smoking Smell in a smoke free room. Bathroom door that doesnt close, Literal poop, on the aisle. Perhaps from a dog or even a human. Awful TV. And bad water pressure.

Wi Fi on top floor was awful, almost non-existent. Second night fire alarm went off at least 4 times between 2:20 and 4.15. Got no sleep after the first alarm.

It was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. We just stayed one night to come to our niece's graduation in San Marcos State University. We like that it was pet friendly because we had our pet Millie. We like that it had a small kitchen. It was great for the price too. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
The only thing was no breakfast but no worries we had to leave early.

Nothing exceptional. Good location for scheduling arrival at my destination in San Antonio early on a Sunday morning.

There was a power outage, we were given a dirty pan, a foul order when you walked in, people loitering in the parking lot
