Great apartment great views

This property has everything needed for a couple to stay comfortably. The sea was just 2 mins easy walk away and could be seen from the lounge. The shops and restaurants were also just a few minutes walk away. There was an issue when we arrived which was quickly rectified when we contacted the owners.

The flat is extremely clean with everything thought of. Very good value for money. If you need to use the futon in the lounge for sleeping then it is not over comfortable and could benefit from being upgraded, but if you just need to use the double bed then it is completely suitable. The DVD player seemed to have an hiccup when playing. Some dvds were worse than others, it kept freezing when playing which was very frustrating and we didn’t bother with it in the end. Only a small point and as the weather wasn’t over good we wanted to use it more than usual. I didn’t report it to owner so they may not be aware of it. All communication with owner was very good and they were eager to help with anything. Overall a good holiday, pity the weather wasn’t better but you can’t do anything about the British weather

The property was good but the parking wasn't no allocated spaces garage was too small to put car in , the café / bar nearest the apartment was expensive and very bad service , best bar was west bay hotel reasonable prices a, nice garden and good service would recommend overall west bay is a lovely place to stay will come again

Generally a good holiday although found spiral staircase a bit challenging and the balcony rather confining. Not quite the view we were expecting.

We had a lovely stay at West Bay! The apartment had everything we needed plus an easy access to the beach! We also enjoyed the sea view when eating. Our daughters like playing with the board games and colouring books. The apartment was big enough for hide-and-seek too!

Light, bright home to stay in. Very well furnished and equipped with every little detail thought of. The owners certainly take a pride in their property and share it with their guests. The kitchen has views towards Bridport.The lounge has afternoon sun and a view of the promenade and sea.Plenty going on in West Bay.

This property is nice and central , equipped with everything you need. Nice sunroom and nice sitting out area when weather suitable. Only downside is the spiral staircase, tricky when you are unloading the car. At the other end of flats straight staircase leading onto the front.

Any closer to the sea and we'd have got wet! OK, we went in December and got wet anyway from the rain, but this apartment is in an awesome location. You can sit at the table in the lounge and look out to sea. We took our labrador who loved the beach and sea. He struggled with the spiral staircase initially, but there is also a straight staircase at the front of the complex. Everything we could need was provided, with a good quality dinner service, plenty of cutlery and all types of glasses. I was worried beforehand if the electric heaters would keep us warm enough in winter, but they certainly did. Took a bit of figuring out as they can easily make it *WAY* too hot. Having a garage for parking would be useful for some, but our SUV was not going to fit. Managed to park opposite the garage, but that may be a struggle in peak times. Overall, loved it and would happily return for a relaxing short break with great walks and plenty of food options on the doorstep.

This is a great place to stay, really comfortable, clean and of course an amazing sea view. Our stay coincided with storm Ellen and I have to say I saw the biggest waves ever! The hosts were really helpful, communicated very well and left us a few goodies to enjoy. West Bay has always been one of my favourite places to go, so many lovely coastal walks and Colmer's Hill is a must. If you're thinking of visiting the Jurassic Coast you will not be disappointed and this rental is highly recommended.

The lovely apartment was in an ideal spot for all amenities. We had no internet for over half of the holiday, it was fixed but I wish the previous occupier had reported it or that it had been checked to be in working order pre changeover. Also I would have liked for there to have been a change of towels midweek, and a post it note next to the safe with instructions of how to use it. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing break.

This flat is really well played out, light and airy and had everything we needed for our holiday, The bed was comfortable, and the flat so peaceful we slept like logs. The kitchen was well equipped with all the basics you'd expect and a few more thoughtful ones. we visited the local fishmonger and cooked a couple of lovely suppers at home. With its seaside theme throughout the flat really made a great base to explore the area. We'd like to stay again please!?

Though not imposing from the outside, the property was excellent inside. Well equipped and very well presented, everything provided was as new and the property sparkled. Bed and furniture was comfortable and everything about the apartment was serviceable. We enjoyed our week despite the weather and came away very impressed.

A lovely apartment, spotlessly clean. There was everything we needed and more. Bed was very comfortable, shower was great. Even though there's a lot of work going on with building the sea defence it didn't spoil the holiday at all, in fact it was very interesting watching everything going on. The balcony was a perfect place to sit and a real sun trap, we were very lucky with the weather. I highly recommend this lovely place. Thank you Katrina and Laurie for letting us stay, we will definitely be back some time.

stay good but damp in bedroom also no key for patio door. if fire at in hall wood not be able to get out.

On arrival there was an overwhelming smell of stinky dog as we opened the door, airing the flat seemd to lessen it somewhat but it took a couple of days to clear and don't use the vacuum cleaner as that smells of concentrated stinky dog!. The flat had not been cleaned very well, in the kitchen there was grease splatter up the hob splashback and trays inside the oven which had not been cleaned and had a layer of fat in them. The bathroom is in need of a deep clean and the step up pad had clearly not been moved just wiped around as there was a fair amount of debris/hair/pubes underneath it! The sofa beds are torturously hard and very uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time and the mattress on the bed is past it's best, As the title says ok as a place to crash at the end of a day out.

This was our second stay at the apartment. We were so impressed last year we just had to come back.The apartment is beautilly maintained and spacious,literally everything we needed was there.Being situated right on the seafront is a bonus especially with all the gear you need to take to the beach.My husband likes to go fishing so the peir is ideal again only five minutes walk away .We'll definitely be back next year.

We did enjoy our holiday here. The apartment is well equipped and is just a short distance from West Bay centre.
