An amazing stay in an all-round excellent villa! Our family of 3, 2 adults and a 10 year old child spent 15 unforgettable nights nights at 5PC and we can not say enough good things about our Barbados summer holiday. The villa is centrally located in a small gated community, 2 minutes away from one of the best beaches on the island, where the use of deck chairs and umbrella comes with the use of the villa, as the owner pays for a membership at the beach club there. General location is also excellent, bus stop just outside of the court, plus the villa has its own parking spot, if renting a car. The owner and host, Tracy has been great, with excellent communication and provision of information from the moment we made the booking till the very end. Same goes to the cleaner who visited three times a week and the property manager, thank you, both! We highly recommend the villa and will definitely book again! Thank you!

Perfect in every way - everything and more that you would need/want

The photos don`t do the property justice. We had a lovely relaxing stay in a great cottage style property. The pool was right outside the patio area and Tracey provided everything that was needed during our hols, from beach towels to the lovely Veronica who kept the place in tip top condition. There was only two of us but the cottage would comfortably accommodate four. Thanks Tracey, will be back

As a guest you get the complete sense of being in Barbados. The property truly reflects its location which was important to us. The warmth shown to us by the owner, Tracy, the property manager, Kerry and our housekeeper, Veronica was so welcoming. There was easy access to the beach (a 5 minute walk down a private path). The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped with everything needed to move right in and easily adjusted air conditioning as required. We particularly appreciated the pool just outside the door for that "end of the day" swim. All of the property has been modernized and is very well maintained. There is a well stocked small supermarket that is walking distance down the road. We purchased most of what we needed there. We have no hesitation in reccomending this property to anyone looking for a place to launch their "Barbados Experience"

Well what can I say another absolutely superb stay at palm cottage … we have stayed at this fabulous villa on 3 occasions now and we are already booked in for February 2024 … the villa is in a great location.. it’s impeccable with everything you could need and Tracy’s team cannot do enough for you …

I booked the property after looking extensively online at a lot of other similar properties. It surpassed my every expectation and more. I had 10 lovely nights here and it was comfortable, well located and nothing was of any fuss from the property management and owner; amazing service all round and I would recommend this as a perfect and peaceful setting for anyone looking for a comfortable and easy villa on the West Coast. Porters Court is a well maintained block of cottages directly across from the beach. Palm Cottage 5 provides access to the Fairmont’s Beach Club for your beach chairs, food and drink. You don’t need to go anywhere but it is also in a perfect starting point to explore Barbados. A perfect experience!

Our stay at Porters was excellent. From the beach access (2-3 min walk max) to the property itself which was cozy and very comfortable. The property is very well decorated and gave us a feeling like we’re home. The pool is 5 steps away from the property and my kids and us enjoyed taking swims and playing. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. Special compliments to the most helpful cleaning staff who took care of us - great job and much appreciated. In terms of access to Holetown, Bridgetown etc we had no problems taking the bus as the property is located on the bus route. To any future guests, book this property now! You will not be disappointed. 5 stars all around. Our family thoroughly enjoyed everything about the place. If the opportunity ever arose again we would most definitely like to come back! We just got back from a fabulous stay at Palm Cottage, Porters Court. The cottage has brilliant facilities, Ensuite Shower Rooms, Washing Machine & Dishwasher, A/C in each room and Wifi. The swimming pool was delightful but the highlight was the location. Right opposite The Royal Pavilion and Glitter Bay with some of the best beaches on the island, where we had exclusive access with the daily passes that come with the cottage. Holetown is only 5 mins by car and some of the best restaurants too. Overall it was fantastic, Thank you Tracy !

We have rented many houses on the west coast over the last years. 5 Porters Court has spoiled us for all future holidays. Tracy - the owner was a pleasure doing the booking process with and she provided us with very helpful information before we traveled and responded to any question we had. We arrived at 5 Porters Court one day late after a horrible journey. Everything was forgotten when we opened the door to our new home for the next two weeks. The villa looked absolutely beautiful and spotless. A welcome package was provided and much appreciated. You could tell that this home is being very well taken care of by both the owner and its wonderful housekeeper Veronica. Veronica does a fantastic job with the villa and having stayed at several beautiful houses in Barbados before, I can say without a doubt that this one was something else. The house has all the amenities you might need. The description is very accurate. We have absolutely no suggestion for improvement as everything was perfect. Well what can I say another fabulous stay in No 5 Porters court, our two weeks here have flown by. This is our second stay at Tracy’s beautiful villa and will definitely not be the last .. it’s just as lovely, as we remember so clean and homely with everything you could ever need . The property manager Kerry and Veronica the housekeeper make your stay even more enjoyable .. all in all a great holiday in a fabulous villa …

Our stay was even better than expected! Villa was in superb condition and everything looked very new. Our maid, Veronica, was lovely and really helpful. Location superb and great to have the Beach Club access. Very peaceful position but close to everything. Would thoroughly recommend.

We loved the villa the location was perfect so close to the beach. Beach club was an added bonus being able to have chairs for the day. Check in was really easy Kerry the property manager was great and so was the house keeper Veronica. Tracy was very easy to deal with and helpful from the beginning. The villa is exactly as described - in very good condition with tasteful and comfortable furnishings. The membership of the beach club is great and we used it most days as the pool is a little small and sometimes busy with the guests from other villas. We would certainly visit again.

We have had a fabulous holiday in Barbados as usual , made all the better for staying in this beautiful villa ... it is exactly as described , exceptionally clean ,and very homely .. Tracy the owner and her house manager / cleaner in Barbados can’t do enough for you ... This is the second time I have stayed in this small gated community the location is perfect . We stayed at Tracey’s Villa over the Christmas Holidays 2019 from December 21st until January 2nd. Before our trip, Tracey provided us with a detailed document of tips for during out stay. This was our first trip to Barbados, and Tracey made herself available to answer any questions we had. She even arranged our airport transfer for us. The villa is truly a home away from home. Fully equipped, tastefully decorated, very comfortable living space for winding down at the end of the day. It exceeded exceptions both inside and out. Covered outdoor patio is lovely. Bedrooms are much larger than expected. The maid service, provided by Veronika is outstanding. The villa is spotlessly cleaned 3x per week, and she greets you and give you a tour on arrival. Honestly I would have been happy if she had done half as much! The Fairmont beach is beautiful, only a 5 minute walk from the villa. When it was too hot for us down at the beach, we took advantage of the shared pool area right in from of the villa, where it was cool and relaxing. When we arrived there was an issue with the air conditioning in the main living space, but it was handled quickly by the Kerry the property manager,  and fixed within a day (there is separate air conditioning units in each bedroom). I also really appreciated that is included EVERYTHING. Lots of glasses, non-shatter drinking cups for use by the pool. Plenty of plates, mugs, pots pans, and cooking utensils. Fully stocked with dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels, beach towels.  I’m used to short term rental properties that give you ONE dishwasher pellet and ONE roll of toilet paper and you have to rush to the store to get what you need for your time there. Everything is rolled into the cost of the unit, which makes it so easy. Internet was flawless, TV was great and it was nice having the Bose speaker available. We used the bus ALOT during out time here, and there are also cabs readily available in front of the Fairmont. Grocery store is a quick bus ride away to Holetown, and you can take a cab back for $15 USD. We walked to and from Holetown a few times (25 min walk one way). Walking is do-able but in the heat can be a bit much, so pace yourself. Thank for a wonderful stay!

Second time staying here. Great place and location. New bathroom added to one of the en-suites. Veronica superb house maid visits 3 times a week. Would definitely recommend!!!

The location speaks for itself, however you really appreciate the effort the owners have gone to when you stay. It is home from home and in a country like Barbados it is unusual to find true quality in a holiday let. This is the exception. I’m sure we will be back. Feels like a bit of a find.

A wonderful property in a wonderful location. Perfect. We had a great time and everything about 5 Porters Court was fantastic from beginning to end. Tracy was incredibly helpful in answering all questions before and after our stay, as well as giving some great tips for our stay. Veronica was a wonderful housekeeper who also gave us some great tips for days out as well as keeping the villa absolutely spotless (put our own house to shame!). After previous bad experiences we were dubious about renting again. The level of service before during and after rental has been outstanding the owner really has thought of everything, lots of information and advice given prior to arrival and they arranged airport transfers and recommended cheap car hire. The cleanliness of the property was outstanding before rental and the cleaner came several times during our stay and she didn't just sugar coat and touch the service every time - it was a proper clean - when living with a house proud wife who likes everything clean this really was a blessing. There was nothing in the property we could of wished for you had everything , one small criticism you need a new iron Tracy you have done a great Job with this property and i would thoroughly recommend to anyone considering this Good off road location very quiet but not far from everything just 20 mins from the Gap going down the highway and maybe 30 mins from Oistins Would love to come back to this property again and apart from the Crane we don't say this very often thanks for the hassle free, relaxing holiday

We very much enjoyed staying in this home! It was just the right size for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). The house is meticulously maintained and very thoughtfully equipped with everything one might need. Access to the beach is easy and the amenities at the Fairmont are a big plus. The people maintaining the house (the house-keeper Veronica and the manager Kerry) distinguish this property. They were friendly, helpful and took great care of the house and us. Tracy was always prompt in her communications and provided plenty of useful information. We hope to be back and highly recommend this rental.

We stayed for a week at this wonderful villa. It checked all the boxes for us. Tracy answered all our questions (we had a few as it was our first time in Barbados). She was great. We rented a car at the airport and drove (but you don't really need to do so). Veronica greeted us near the complex upon arrival and helped guide us to the unit which was greatly appreciated. She kept our unit spotless. You can tell they take great pride in keeping the property maintained impeccably. The kitchen is well appointed. We used it a lot which was nice. The quality of the food in the restaurants in Barbados is very good but it can be expensive. Being able to eat in (or bring lunch with us down to the beach) for one or two meals a day paid for our excursions and performances we totally enjoyed. The A/C units worked great, too. There is also a washer/dryer combo. The outdoor gas grill on the veranda looked brand new. We used it for a few meals and the food was cooked perfectly. Although the pool is communal with a few other units, we mostly had it to ourselves to dunk after our day at the beach. The Royal Pavilion beach club is such an easy walk from the unit. Chaise lounges and umbrellas were complimentary. You can order a drink at the bar or you can bring some drinks down with you from the unit in a cooler (which is what we did). We felt very pampered. My wife and I traveled extensively though Barbados exploring the west coast, east coast and south coast. We even took a catamaran excursion which we highly recommend. Our greatest takeaway was that the beach at the Royal Pavilion was one of the nicest on the island (and just an easy 4.5 minute walk door to beach chair on the beach). You don't need to rent a car to get around as the bus stop is just a couple of minutes from the unit ($3.50 Bajan) and a cab stand at the Royal Pavilion is just another two minute walk. If you do rent a car and are coming from the airport, simply remember to turn right on the street just before the Seventh Day Adventist Church (just past the Royal Pavilion) and then take your second right. We loved staying at this villa. It really felt like our home away from home. When we come back to Barbados this is where we will stay. Glad we found this hidden gem! You will be, too! Strongly recommend!!!

We stayed at #5 Porters this June and could not be more pleased with the villa—a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The villa was the perfect spot for the most relaxing vacation. Tracy’s attention to detail, from the well-stocked kitchen, to the quality of the linens, comfortable pristine furniture, welcoming food and drinks, and well-maintained pool and grounds, all made our stay a five-star experience. Veronica gave us a warm welcome, showed us all around, and shared her local insights on where to go and what to do. Kerry and team were always accessible if we needed anything. The villa is a short walk to the beach… and a beautiful beach it is. With passes to the Fairmont Beach Club, we could sit for hours in comfortable chaise lounges under umbrellas. Be sure to take a walk north on the beach to experience a magical and almost private cove with the waves thundering against the rocks. Stunning! Barbados is a warm and welcoming island. We did not want to leave! We highly recommend this villa and hope to come stay again.

We were super excited about our first visit to Barbados and we weren’t disappointed. Tracy gave us lots of information before our trip and on arrival at the villa we were shown around by Veronica the housekeeper. The villa is simply perfect, a really home from home with everything you could need and more! Beautifully presented with lots of lovely touches and the pool on your doorstep! Veronica visited several times during our stay to keep the villa spotless. We enjoyed a couple of BBQs and relaxed evenings sat on the private terrace. A short walk across the road takes you to the beach where you can use the beach club facilities - a real bonus. There are a few restaurants and bars within walking distance otherwise hop on the ‘reggae reggae’ bus into Holetown where you will find the Massy supermarket and lots more bars and restaurants. Thank you Tracy for sharing your Barbados home with us - we loved it, had the most amazing time and didn’t want to come home!

This is the best house I have stayed in on Barbados in many visits over the years! It's location is perfect for the beach, buses, Holetown and Speightstown. It is beautifully decorated throughout with everything you could ever need to live there, let alone a holiday! Veronica and Kerry were also incredibly welcoming, helpful and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always available if we needed them. I will definitely be returning here, if I can get in. It is very popular, so book early! This was our third visit to Barbados. We love this island, not only for its gorgeous beaches and vegetation, but also for the friendly people and the fact that the social gap between rich and poor is not as prominent as on other islands. We have been renting houses in previous years and enjoyed what they offered, but this year, everything fell into place. The villa is tastefully decorated, the bedrooms and their en suite bathrooms are spacious, the kitchen contains everything you might need, and there were even plenty of candles and tea lights for the table on the covered porch where we loved to sit and enjoy meals and drinks. Tracey Palmer, the owner, answers questions immediately and makes one feel welcome in her beautiful home, she even provides a generous welcome package. Veronica, the housekeeper, takes good care of the guests and keeps the house sparkling clean. Kerry, the building manager, is very friendly and responsive as well, reacting immediately to any queries. Besides the villa, we enjoyed the amenities: the clean, well maintained pool in the tropical courtyard, the short walk to the beach, the Beach Club Pass that gives you access to sun beds and umbrellas and the proximity of the next bus stop. To sum it up, we had a perfect vacation and highly recommend this property!

This small but perfect villa on the West Coast, close to the action of Holetown, is a gem. It is very well equipped with everything that you could possibly want from a home from home stay, and we found it spotlessly clean. It is in an optimal position in the small, gated development in that the pool is directly outside, meaning that you can fall out of bed and into the pool each morning. The outside dining area was comfortable and perfect for al fresco breakfast and dinner. The bedrooms were equally well equipped, each being en-suite and with lots of closet space and cost hangers ( the latter a bug bear of mine; there never seem to be enough in some rentals). The kitchen was set up with everything that you need, we really appreciated the small cold box that we could take to the beach for picnic lunches. Housekeeper Veronica greeted us when we arrived, gave us a full guide to the place and appeared a couple of times during our stay to change bedding and towels and generally keep the place sparkling clean. Tracy, the owner, was fantastic at keeping in touch with us both prior to and during our stay. Her attention to detail and speed at replying to emails was exemplary too. The rental comes with membership of the Fairmont Royal Pavilion Beach Club too, and this was just fantastic. It’s a short strolll way and is on one the best beaches on the West Coast with safe swimming and very comfortable sun loungers. For all of these reasons, I would not hesitate booking this gem of a property again; it’s possibly the best rental I have ever had.

Just returned home from enjoying a fantastic 2 weeks here. Brilliant communications from Tracey all along really made sure everything was covered. The property is as described but even better. Great kitchen with ample utensils and crockery etc. Lounge area comfortable with Sky and BT sports a bonus. Bedrooms with en-suites lovely. Great air con throughout. Outside area great for lazing around pool plus dining area and barbecue couldn’t be faulted. Also Veronica the housekeeper is lovely and friendly and looks after the property to a high standard. Another nice lady Kerry is on hand to help with any queries you may have. The location is a 2 minute walk to bus stops and a 5 minute walk to the beach club at The Fairmount Pavillion Hotel Beach the facilities of which you’re allowed to use. Holetown is a 5 minute bus ride or 20 minute walk where there are plenty of restaurants bars and shops. Overall I can’t recommend this property enough

We were searching for a property in Barbados near to Alleynes. The location of Porters Court is absolutely perfect. A short stroll takes you to the Beach Club at the Royal Fairmont although we spent most of our time in the middle of the bay at Ju Ju's where we hired sunbeds and had fabulous late lunches or early dinner watching the beautiful sunsets. Holetown is a short bus ride away for shopping and more restaurant choices. Tracy was very prompt in answering our queries and arranged for a substantial welcome pack which was indeed most welcome! Verionica took care of us during our stay and we had support from Kerry the property manager both of whom were excellent. Number 5 looks over the pool and we loved that we could just wander out of our door to the swim and read. The house is a real home from home with everything that you could possibly need during your stay and the whole complex is immaculate with beautiful gardens. We had a wonderful time and we will most definitely return to number 5 in the future. Many thanks Tracy.
