The property was clean and had all facilities we required for a weekend walking in Lakes. Right in the middle of Grasmere, within easy walking distance to restaurants, pubs and shops. Lovely to meet the owner on Sunday and the beautiful vase of roses was a very nice gesture. Would certainly stay there again.

Very convenient location. Private and quiet. Clean and comfortable. Self-closing fire doors a bit of an irritation. Would have liked a DVD player. We would stay there again.

An ideal location from which to explore both the immediate vicinity and the wider area. Surprisingly quiet bearing in mind it’s location in the centre of the village.

We really enjoyed our week at Low Croft. The cottage is in a quiet location in the centre of the village with all the usual amenities on the doorstep. We loved being able to do so many walks directly from Grasmere and only used the car once during the week. The cottage is very clean, cosy and very well equipped and a great place to return to after a day on the fells. We would love to holiday here again.

Well maintained small cottage in the centre of Grasmere. The property was warm and welcoming. Free car parking on site a bonus. Wouldcerainly return.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is tidy and very cosy and equipped with everything that is necessary for a comfortable stay. The cottage is well situated, central but yet quiet. We can recommend it absolutely. Thank you very much.

Ann's property is wonderfully situated, right in the middle of the village, but very quiet and calm. It's immaculately clean, and well equipped. The perfect place from which to go walking - you can get to Elterwater, the Hows, even Scafell if you're ambitious! And there are bus routes from a bus stop about 2 minutes away.

Just what we needed for our week’s stay..

We only stayed a few days as we had to leave early due to heath problems, but we found it to be very pleasant. We would recommend it, especially to family. The stairs are difficult for anyone with knee or hip problems.

Low Croft is in the center of Grasmere while being accessible to many beautiful walking trails. The unit is modern, quiet and immaculate with a nice open layout for the common areas. The kitchen is fully equipped and the beds are very comfortable. There are quite a few stairs so some people may have issue with this. There is a large basement that can accommodate any sports equipment imaginable. Having a washer/dryer unit is great. Our host, Ann, is lovely. We are from the United States and transferring funds internationally is a little more complicated, but Ann is well aware of the process and made everything easy for us. She is helpful and prompt with any questions or requests.We had a wonderful stay and hope to return in the future.

Just got back from a 4 night break to this lovely cosy cottage. Everything you can possibly need for self catering. Has a very large storage/laundry room on the ground floor very handy for storing and drying our golf clubs. Up a few stairs to the living accomodation, we were a party of 4 adults and we had plenty of room with the open plan living/ dining/ kitchen area. Up a few more stairs to the 2 bedrooms and bathroom, bedrooms a decent size, plenty of storage for clothes. May not be suitable for people with problems climbing stairs as over 20 to climb from ground floor to the bedrooms. Great location central in Grasmere village, parking space was a plus as not much free long stay parking in the village. Cottage is located at the bottom of the courtyard and is very peaceful and quiet. We all had and great time. Thankyou for everything Ann.
