Room was clean and cozy and the breakfast was very good

The trip itself was great, but the hotel was not as inviting as we expected, so we didn’t spend much time there. I booked the hotel planing a wellness stay to relax before Christmas. We got a room in a different house, and needed to walk in the cold everywhere. They didn’t have a map of the site when we arrived and I had to search it by myself having to come back as I didn’t find it. Only then, the staff went with me outside to show me where it was. Its very well hidden if you don’t have a map. The price for the pool (20€/person/day) was also a surprise. There was an option for swimming in the morning for 5€ though. We did visit the pool once, but decided to just go to a Therme nearby which was the best decision ever, as the pools were very close to the lake, full of special things and only 12€ for 4h. and to close well the trip… I asked if I could already pay after the breakfast (in the main house) and leave the keys later in the room (different house) and the answer was no… The elevator was also broken when we left and we had to go back to the main house just to leave the key cards… I’m not sure if I’m coming back.

Dinner is WAY to expensive for what you get. Also, they don’t tell you up front that it costs significantly more per person per day to use the pool area. 2 People for 2 days would add 30% to the cost of the stay.

Great Location! Beautiful view over the Lake of Constance and the Swiss/Austrian Alps. Great Breakfast, with huge selection and delicious. Would recommend to anybody.

The linens and towels have clearly not been renewed since my last visit 2 years ago. Bring your own pillow as those on offer don’t technically classify as pillows. The internet remains woeful. It is nonexistent in the Guest houses. (I’ve experienced better and more reliable wireless service across all of the developing world.) Some of the cleaning staff are downright rude - pitching a fuss if they can’t clean the room at their desired time and rushing in to do the bare minimum if they spied a room unoccupied for even a few minutes. The bathrooms (at least in Guest House) are small, cramped and in need of renewal or deep-cleaning. The hotel gets rave reviews but that’s mainly because it’s the only show in town (i.e., the only full-service modern-build), often hosting weddings and events.

Very nice and clean private beach just a few hundred meters from the hotel. Nicr and clean rooms with really big bed and romantic view from it's balcony. Amazing breakfast with the lake Constance view and very polite people on the reception desk. Good and calm location.

Staff in the hotel restaurant speaks only german and dinner waiting times are longer than normally
