Geräumige Villa mit vier Schlafzimmern (kürzlich umgebaute separate Lounge im Erdgeschoss in ein Zimmer mit zwei Schlafzimmern, das über ein eigenes Duschbad im Erdgeschoss verfügt). Die Villa liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend am Rande der historischen und malerischen Marktstadt Ceret; Die Stadt zählt viele berühmte Künstler zu ihren Einwohnern, darunter Picasso und Matisse. Die Villen sind eine halbe Stunde Fahrt vom malerischen Fischerdorf Collioure und den weißen Sandstränden von Argeles und anderen atemberaubenden Resorts an der Cote Vermeille entfernt. Es ist 15 Minuten von der Grenze zu Spanisch Katalonien entfernt, wo schöne Strände und eine Vielzahl von kulturellen Attraktionen sind im Angebot. Die Villa bietet einen großen, abgeschlossenen Garten, der das Haus umgibt und einen Panoramablick auf die Ausläufer der Pyrenäen bietet. Umgeben von einem Naturschutzgebiet, das seine Abgeschiedenheit garantiert. Es gibt einen großen Swimmingpool mit terrassierter Liegewiese und drei Außenessbereiche mit schmiedeeisernen und Mosaik-Gartenmöbeln. Ausreichend Privatparkplatz. TV und WLAN.

We had a really wonderful stay. We found the house extremely comfortable with everything we needed provided. It was a luxury to stay somewhere that felt like a real home and with a large sitting room. There was just 4 of us but you could comfortably sleep 8 if couples/family in the 4 bedrooms. We didn't actually use one bedroom which is self contained on the ground floor with its own bathroom.
The outdoor space is really beautiful - you can breakfast on the front porch with the morning sun, overlooking Ceret and the mountains, then later in the day when hotter enjoy the cool area of the outdoor patio round the back. The pool is beautiful and very clean.
It takes about 25 mins to walk into the centre of Ceret. During the day when it was hot we would drive, and could always find parking. In the evening we enjoyed the pleasant stroll there and back, and the walk over the bridges is stunning. Ceret is perfect and unspoilt. We enjoyed the museum, markets, dance festival and restaurants there. We also enjoyed days out at the lake nearby and the coast - especially Port-Vendres.

MAISON AGREABLE
Maison d'architecte que les propriétaires rénovent. Très belle vue. Calme (sauf le chien du voisin qui aboie de temps en temps) Nous avons profité du petit déjeuner sur une terrasse et des autres repas sur l'autre. Ballade en soirée dans les champs de cerisiers et d'abricotiers . Bien équipée. Chambres très spacieuses.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à Céret.
Le village est bien placé pour visiter les alentours.
La maison est spacieuse et confortable.
Nous avons eu un peu chaud car la chaleur s’installe vite dans la maison et impossible de laisser les fenêtres ouvertes à cause des moustiques.
Il manque une machine à café.
Sinon la boulangerie à côté de l’intermarche sert de très bons expresso!

Prestations pas à la hauteur du prix demandé
Séjour agréable car la maison est dans un lotissement calme mais les équipements sont trop anciens et certains cassés (robinet évier cuisine par exemple), pas de cafetière électrique ou à dosettes, le frigo est petit et il manque une étagère ce qui en réduit encore la capacité. Il ne dispose pas d'une partie congélateur juste un freezer (qui était sale )
Le ménage est succinct. La piscine est agréable mais elle n'est pas chauffée, donc l'eau reste froide, le liner mériterait d'être nettoyé et elle se trouve à proximité de végétaux qui attirent les moustiques.
Suggestion d'amélioration : moderniser les équipements de la cuisine : ustensiles et électroménagers. En mettre moins mais des plus récents.
Autour de la piscine mettre des essences qui éloignent les moustiques (lavande par ex).
Pour le prix payé nous nous attendions à des prestations de bien meilleure qualité.

We really enjoyed our stay at Les Mimosas, in spite of temperatures sometimes over 40C! Under those conditions the pool was a joy and constantly in use. Sensible use of shutters, ans and windows (and the presence of a cool breeze at times) kept the temperatures inside the house bearable.
Anne promptly answered our questions and we would certainly consider staying again. The location was very peaceful. Ceret is a lovely and interesting town with a fascinating history.

It was hot!

Great pool for the grandchildren but am afraid I'm not a fan of futon beds!

Topp ferieopphold for åtte mennesker, seks voksne og to barn.
Boligen fungerte supert for en familie med seks voksne og to barn. Boligen hadde alt vi trengte; gode store soverom, velutstyrt kjøkken og fine uteområder hvor vi oppholdt oss mesteparten av tiden. Det manglet en barneseng, men det ble skaffet til veie. Hagen var nydelig med frukttrær og blomster, vakker utsikt, og omgivelsene var stille og rolige. Beliggenheten var fin - en passelig spasertur inn til Ceret. Vi savnet kort og godt ingenting - vi bare nøt dagene på dettte deilige stedet, og kommer gjerne tilbake.

Great property within easy reach of airports in both France and Spain. Spacious living area with a wonderful pool to relax in. Easy walk into Ceret which hosts some delicious restaurants with outdoor dining.

We enjoyed a wonderful weeks holiday in Ceret. The house is well positioned to explore all the area has to offer, literally from the mountains to the sea. Situated close to Perpignan airport it was a stress free break for all. The house is spacious, clean and has all you need for the week including a delightful pool and outside space with views to the mountains. Would recommend the property highly.

Fantastic villa with stunning views
Just back from a wonderful fortnight in this gorgeous house on the outskirts of Ceret. The house was even better than the photos suggest, and the views are to die for. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided, including a well-equipped kitchen - not that we ever ate in, given the excellent variety of restaurants in the town and surrounding area. The local contact, Dave, was also incredibly helpful on the one occasion we needed him. All in all, a fantastic property in a lovely town.

We have just had a wonderful two weeks in this villa. It was so easy to live in, we felt at home really quickly. The rooms are extremely spacious and the villa is very well equipped. The highlight for us was the wonderful outside area - the balcony to our bedroom with its panoramic views, the pool area, the garden - all with views. There was a great choice of sitting out areas with tables, chairs and easily moved loungers so that it was easy to chase sun or shade. The pool was a good size and we used it most days. It was cleaned during our stay as was the villa so we felt very well looked after. There is a boulangerie and excellent restaurant within walking distance of the villa. Ceret is a lovely little town with a wonderful Saturday market and a variety of restaurants. The surrounding area is not only beautiful but full of history dating back hundreds of years and more recently - we only did about 300 miles in the two weeks we were there as there was so much to see so near - Banyuls, Port-Vendres, Collioure, Arles, Prats de Molle, Amelie, Elne. Too good to tell people ...
This villa is unprepossessingly situated on a residential development on the outskirts of Ceret. But - once your climbed the steps to the terrace and gone inside, everything changes. It's an unashamedly seventies style family house, with three good bedrooms, a large bathroom, downstairs loo, refurbished kitchen and large lounge / dining area. There's a really lovely pool which gets sunshine every day until around 6pm, a great secluded area for sunbathing, and an outside eating area - which is what we did every day. There is a bakery within walking distance, and the delightful and historic town is just a short drive (plenty of free parking, hurrah). There's an Intermarche within five minutes if you prefer the supermarket to local shops. Also ideal for forays to the coast, just 45 minutes along a really good road to Collioure, Argeles, Port Vendres etc.
Overall, this is a really good villa, ideal for a family or couple, beautifully kept and maintained, and with local people on hand for backup. Strongly recommended. We can't wait to go back ...
