Die geräumige Terrasse vor dem Wohnzimmer hat eine schöne Aussicht zusammen mit einer überdachten Bereich und was für ein toller Ort, um diesen Nachmittag ein Nickerchen im Schatten zu nehmen. Die private Terrasse von der obersten Etage bietet den besten Panoramablick auf das Meer mit fantastischer Aussicht. Ein großartiger Nachmittag, um den Abend mit einem Cocktail zu verbringen und einen Sonnenuntergang in Key West zu erleben.
Auf der ersten Etage betreten Sie das Haus durch ein großes Foyer, einen großzügigen offenen Wohn- / Ess- / Küchenbereich mit einem 2. Frühstücksbereich und einem ½ Bad. Die gut ausgestattete Küche bietet Ihnen einen Doppel-Etagenofen und ein komplettes Wasserenthärtersystem. Es gibt eine Umkehrosmose-Wasserfilteranlage in der Küche und Eiswürfelbereiter für reinstes Wasser. Zusammen mit diesem sind zwei Kühlschränke und eine Wet Bar im Speisesaal für Ihre Bequemlichkeit und Vergnügen. Loved the location, size of house (my daughter-in-law called it a labyrinth house!) Gorgeous views, huge deck, interior large rooms were tidy with lovely colors & decor, & comfortable.
Negatives: very expensive for lack of upkeep, many things need attention (stains on carpets, coffee pot didn't work (noted on earlier review), Safety issues: the main back sliding door has no locking hardware and a wooden rod was the only way to lock door. As a main back exit, this is a safety issue- in an emergency it would be very difficult to exit, especially at night when you wouldn't be able to locate rod. (I saw a review complaining about this last year and thought it had been fixed) Also that same walkout area had an old worn out attached wooden mat that was damaged with slivers of ripped wood which could potentially hurt bare feet!
All that said, you can feel the love and attention this house once had, and we had a wonderful time staying there. I will probably stay there again if we return.

What a great location and spectacular views. The eagles nest on top of the house made it great to also watch the sunset at night. The house was very clean and well equipped.
My biggest concern was that the patio door didn’t lock, which made us concerned about valuables when we were at the beach. Also, I wish we would have known there was construction two doors down, as it made it impossible to be able to enjoy relaxing on the back patio. The house does need to be updated ~ especially the master bath toilet, as it would constantly run.
Other than that, we would stay again. I just think the price of the home was overpriced for the very dated quality.

Perfect for our family! So close to water so super easy to go back and forth with young kids. Everyone had their own space. I couldn’t tell this from the pictures but two of the BRs are set up perfectly for a family with small kids - a room with a queen and a room with two twins is set up like its own suite area - it allowed my 4 yr grandson to be close to mom and dad but still in his own room so he (and they) got better sleep.
So many comments from everyone about how perfect the location and set-up was!

This house didn't meet the expectations of a house that I spent an exorbitant amount of money to rent. It had no lock on the back sliding back door and it only stayed shut with a broken board. It appeared that the only way you can shut the shades in the rooms is to either walk around with a pole or climb up in the window boxes. Due to NOT feeling safe with a door that had no hardware on it, we left 30 minutes after arrival and checked into a hotel. I went to the rental office the following morning, showed pictures and they agreed to refund me. If they go through with the reimbursement, I will happy to give the rental company a good review.

The Madras house on Wrightsville Beach was perfect for our party of 12. The house was spacious and offered enough privacy for 3 families staying under one roof. We each had our own bathroom. The open kitchen and family room was a perfect space to hang out. The deck and views were fabulous! I would definitely choose this house again in the future.

The online pictures do not give the size of this beach home justice. It is huge, nice large bedrooms and bathrooms, with plenty of parking (a premium in Wrightsville Beach). Beautiful stretch of beach in the back yard with a great back deck and covered area.

Home layout, location, and property manager communication was terrific! 4 full bathrooms to go with the 4 bedrooms was perfect for our extended family holiday. Living room was fun for watching the big game together. Fun third floor for older kids. Big porch & easy beach access perfect for grandchildren. Kitchen was large enough for many cooks. Could use new carpet & bigger sheet pans, but great overall. Our group loved this place - all gave two thumbs up. We would all go again! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful week with 13 family members from July 10-17. Two of our adults were handicapped.
One thing we would like to see added is the downstairs bathroom needs a higher toilet and handles for handicapped. Also the bathroom beside the room with the hospital bed and king bed needs a higher toilet and handles. The space is too small to help someone on and off the toilet.
The elevator was wonderful!!!! It worked perfectly!
We did have some issues with huge roaches showing up from time to time - kitchen, upstairs hallway, etc. Needs roach treatment or something.
Overall we had a wonderful week and the maintenance guys came out pretty quickly to fix the door to the deck - it was hard to push and got stuck a couple of times.

Lots of storage space in bedrooms and kitchen. Awesome that there was an elevator as 2 relatives can't climb stairs easily. Negatives: The rug in main area was badly stained, the sliding glass door to main deck was extremely difficult to close, some of the windows couldn't be opened, AC didn't keep air cool enough -on upper floors, especially.

Extended Family of thirteen spent a wonderful week in the home. The house floorplan allows for privacy and quiet although we had two toddlers running around. The back porch is fenced so that the younger children could play on their own with little supervision required. The house is showing wear and age but everything worked and suited us with our six grandchildren.

Location location location. Perfect for family w young ones and accessibility to beach. For the price, house is dated. Additionally attention to detail for this level of price is a bit missing. Trash was piled up outside from prior visitor thus making disposal difficult. Most importantly it’s a great location and that’s what we went for. We stayed at Madras House last year and looked forward to a repeat of family fun time celebrating a grandchild's birthday. The location is very nice and views awesome. So with guests from different parts of the country it's a great house for coming together while providing privacy when desired. The kitchen is well equipped and comfortable for several persons to move around without getting in each other's way. Not sure if we'll book it again unless some issues are resolved as the house is need of a face lift (new carpeting, repair ceiling leak in Master bedroom, clean vents, etc. etc) Or the rental price should be lowered and these issues explained to potential clients. Overall, the check in -check out process was simple. Having a key code on front door simplified guests' comings and goings. Thanks.

Cigarette butts on porch and stained carpet in master bedroom also no tea pot. Making tea in a saucepan lacks charm Everything else was great and the management was very helpful.

Loved our stay
We had a great time. Questions were answered quickly and correctly. Outside on the porch were many cigarette butts.
It would be nice if you had a tea pot as boiling water in a sauce pan is not ideal. There is a black stain on the master bedroom carpet.
The views are great with easy access to the beach. The elevator was an excellent addition. All is very handicapped accessable.
