The house was a very good size for 9 people. The area it was in really had nothing going on and there was no place to walk around the lake. The kitchen could use a few more pots and a cookie sheet. There were no plastic cups to take outside with drinks-that would be a good idea….. Aside from those observations the house worked out well and we had a very good time.

We stayed at the Iron Hill house for a family weekend. It was a perfect house for our extended family to gather and enjoy time together. Having a clean, welcoming home with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and communal spaces where we could hang out just added to a fun winter weekend. We highly recommend it to others who are looking for a similar getaway with an ideal home away from home.

Great place for a quick weekend getaway with friends! The fire places keep the house feel nice and cozy, plenty of couch space and room to hangout!

Fantastic home located in a quiet community walking distance from the lake. Well-stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds with rental sheets provided (no fitted sheets, though). Plenty of space both indoors and out to suit a large group.

1 gallon of water took over an hour to boil on stovetop. Stove issue? Low propane pressure? We actually expected the beds to be made, not just have the linens folded on top of the beds. Otherwise, everything was fine

Property was good but the mattress need to be updated they was old spring matters killed our backs plus at night it would be nice if the rooms had a TV only 3 TVs and the kids wanted to play guys wanted to watch game girls wanted to watch movie and there wasn't enough TV's at night. But everything else was good.

The house and surroundings were beautiful. The house was extremely clean. Very easy check in process. We would definitely stay again.

The truth is that everything is very neat and clean, it has all the kitchen accessories for cooking. The only thing was that we could not use the hot spat for the reason that they did not leave the key. it is a very nice place

This way we got out of town, went to dinner, had our cake and candle ceremony in the house and then in the morning got up, went to breakfast and headed to the outlets. We couldn’t have been any happier with the house. We felt right at home, everything we needed was there and everything was nearby that we needed.The house was clean. The hot tub worked great. There was room for everyone. The bathrooms were nice and roomy. It really was just everything we wanted and more.We are definitely coming back!

Group of us stayed for the weekend to go snowboarding it accommodated our entire group. It was very spacious the pictures doesn’t do justice. Jacuzzi was very clean and enjoyable for the weekend. If you plan on staying I would definitely bring toilet paper, paper towels & trash bags. Food places are about 5 minutes away and some places deliver. Driveway was very slippery & icy they did provide shovels & salt.

We had a blast the home was perfect.

The home was truly wonderful. The home was big enough to fit 15 people (5 families) perfectly. Coming from the city the spiders around the home (outside) creeped me out a bit but, they were no harm. I would definitely stay here again

We had a group of 15 (4 families) and the house, location and ease of check-in/check-out was perfect. So close to Jack Frost mountain and Split Rock indoor water park and just a few hundred feet from the lake. The beds were comfortable and rooms spacious, the two separate living spaces were great for kids and adults to be together or apart :) and the pool table was an extra bonus. A great find for a multi-family ski weekend!

The house was really beautiful and clean, just like the pictures show. We had access to a small private beach and the lake was just 5 minutes away. The neighborhood was really clean and quiet, as well as full of deers. Everything was perfect!

House was great, only issue was one of the bathroom had black ants. Otherwise everything was perfect.

But don’t worry, the air conditioning was very good, too. Except for the location, the property was well described and photographed. We expected the place to be one block away from the beach but it was more than two. Since we had little children, distance from the beach was a deciding factor for choosing a rental. Walking on the road required tight sharing with cars. The place was very clean except for stains on the LR carpet. The paint seemed new. A concern about gas smell was addressed within 30 minutes on a holiday. Kitchen well laid out and furnished with enough stools and high chairs for casual dining in kitchen. The dining area had a nice table where we could squeeze our crowd in. The common rooms were well furnished and comfortable. The BRs were tight, but the extra beds allowed for our families to fit. The three bath rooms were easily accessible and one had a tub. We did make it to the lake outfitted with a sandy beach that extended into the rocky bottom. Water shoes made walking through the rocks in the lake much more comfortable. There was a floating dock for jumping that made it more fun for children who could swim. The beach watch was very diligent about checking for your beach pass, no excuses. The boats driving by added interesting waves to the swim area. Hickory Run Park had hiking trails of various levels that were fun for the whole family. Restaurants and an ice cream stop were within an easy drive. The rental company had an app that promises to be very useful. There were places for prices for linens to rent and a list of the number of beds and sizes that were blank and the access code was correct but not operational at the check-in time.

When I arrived to the house, I turned the temperature down in the refrigerator in order to make it cold. There were twelve people who stayed there that weekend and we had a significant amount of food that needed to chilled. The refrigerator only has one air compressor and it took almost all weekend for it to cool down. I had to place all the food we brought/made into coolers in order to keep cold. It was frustrating but we made the best of it. If I were to rent from this company again, I would ask someone to make sure the refrigerator is on prior to my arrival.
