Superlage zum Ortskern, fussläufig 10min, trotzdem ruhig. Sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Meerblick von der Terrasse ist das Highlight. Gepflegte Poolanlage. Sehr nette Vermieter.

La maison est juste magnifique, propre dans un quartier calme. Une vue à couper le souffle. Les propriétaires que ce soit Pascal comme Muriel savent vous accueillir avec toute la gentillesse et le professionnalisme qui est le leur. Absolument rien à dire de négatif. Séjour merveilleux à refaire!!!

La maison louée est bien située et aménagée. Nous avons toutefois rencontré un problème lié à la chaleur et peut-être d'isolement. Effectivement, la température à l'étage (chambres et salle de bain) n'est pas supportable, les ventilateurs fournis n'améliorent que très peu la situation, l'installation d'une climatisation est à envisager. De ce fait, le prix nous parait élevé par rapport à la prestation d'autant que le ménage n'est pas inclus. Nous tenons toutefois à préciser que les relations avec le propriétaire et Pascal ont été très chaleureuses. Merci.

Wir waren zu dritt in diesem Ferienhaus und sind der Meinung, mehr als 4 Personen würde es nicht aushalten, obwohl es drei Schlafzimmer und zwei Bäder (was super war) gibt. Das Haus war sehr sauber. Der Empfang war sehr professionell. Die Lage ist ruhig und man kann Collioure zu Fuß in 10 bis 15 Min. erreichen. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet, von der Waschmaschine bis zur Spülmaschine alles vorhanden. Sogar zwei Kühlschränke! Trotzdem sind wir der Meinung, dass der Preis zu hoch ist für das Haus. Für Menschen mit körperlichen Einschränkungen nicht zu empfehlen, da eine ziemlich steile Treppe zum Haus hinauf führt. Was soll ich sagen, wäre gerne länger geblieben! Ach ja, noch eine kleine Bemerkung: Der Pool wird nicht beheizt und es ist schon eine Herausforderung bei 21 Grad Wassertemperatur. Im Sommer bestimmt einfacher. Aber im September bei starkem Wind und 25 Grad..... Unser Fazit: Wir würden immer wieder gerne dort Urlaub verbringen.

Villa idéalement située, à mi chemin entre Port Vendres et Collioure. Possibilité de faire beaucoup de choses à pied et vu les difficultés pour se garer à Collioure, c'est appréciable : courses, proche de petites criques pour la baignade. Villa agréable et au calme, qui mériterait toutefois d'être climatisée ...

This was the second time we had stayed at this property and we had another nice welcome from Pascal. We particularly love the large sunny balcony and ate many meals out there. The property is well-furnished and a very pleasant stroll from the town. Definitely recommended. We hope to return again.

We had a wonderful vacation and this villa was perfect for us. My sister and I went to meet my daughter at the end of a study abroad trip she was doing in Collioure and to celebrate my 50th birthday. The accommodations were lovely and we would highly recommend this property. It was well stocked with everything we needed. We loved the balcony and the views from the villa were breathtaking. We were greeted by Pascal upon our arrival, who was so welcoming and accommodating. We had a delay in our trip and got in later than we had hoped and did not have an opportunity to stop at the grocery before it closed. When we awoke the next morning, there was a delicious bag of fresh croissants and pastries on the gate door! There was also parking provided, which we found was a hot commodity in this area. The home was in a good location and a reasonable walking distance to everything. The owner, Dominique, was very nice and responsive with any questions we had and even allowed us to stay a night longer than we planned. Thank you again! We are missing this beautiful place already.

We have been to Collioure several times before and this was one of the nicest properties we have stayed in. The upstairs bedrooms did get a little hot when the temperatures were high, but we were fine in the slightly cooler downstairs bedroom. We appreciated the lovely residents' pool which was very clean and refreshing. We hope to return to this lovely property.

Staying at this villa for a week was so incredibly enjoyable that when I think back to it, I'm not entirely sure if it was just a very happy dream. Booking this wonderful villa was a smooth and easy process. Bernard is very friendly and efficient with email replies throughout booking. When we first arrived at the villa we were shown around by a lovely gentleman by the name of Pascal. It was clear that if we had needed help with anything, then he would be there. We also found wine, biscuits and water had been left for us on arrival, along with all the usual essentials like tea and coffee. There is everything you want at this villa including a dish washer, washing machine, toaster, kettle, microwave and much more. The location was perfect for us, being just a short walk up from a gorgeous beach that's amazing for snorkelling. We even found a couple of octopus hiding in the rocks. The views from the patio of the villa are lovely. You can cool down in the evenings with a glass of wine looking out over the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Here you will be within easy reach of Collioure, Port Vendres, and you can easily reach a lot of places in Spain too. There's a folder in the villa full of restaurants if you choose to eat out. It was hot when we stayed in June, so jumping into the pool wasn't only enjoyable, it was also necessary and very refreshing. We found the pool area to be very clean, and despite not being heated, it was a nice temperature. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience from the initial enquiry email to the holiday itself. I would definitely recommend this villa, and hope maybe in the future to come back for another visit.

Have just returned from a wonderful week in Collioure with its fabulous selection of bars and restaurants. The views from the Villa were amazing and the villa was more than we expected. This property is probably the best equipped we have ever stayed in - John and Elaine have thought of everything. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back.

We loved Collioure and the apartment. The village offered many shops and restaurants within walking distance (less than 15 minutes). The owners have a wonderful folder in the apartment that provided maps and other local information that was extremely helpful. The recommended restaurants lived up to their reviews. Port Vendres was actually as close to the apartment as the village and offered a convenient market. The kitchen provided all that we needed to enjoy a daily meal or two at "home." Upon arrival it was thoughtfully stocked with bread, wine, ham, butter so that we did not have to find the market immediately. We especially enjoyed the beautiful terrace that was sunny for many hours each day (virtually all day). As indicated in the listing, the pool was not open during our stay in May but appeared to be getting refurbished in time to open in June as promised. We were able to swim in the sea though, just a short walk down the road. The apartment was clean and comfortably furnished but could use some new/extra bed pillows.

The villa is immaculately kept - very very clean and very well kitted out with everything you could possibly need. The owners think of everything and are right on hand should you have any problems whatsoever. The patio / terrasse was as promised with panoramic views - it was lovely to sit out there in the afternoon as the sun came round with a book and glass of wine. We had been to Collioure before and it was still as breath-taking and charming - just a 10 minute walk away from the villa so no need to take the car down into town. This place is a real treat and I wold not hesitate in recommending it - a gem - don't miss out!!

The description on this website is all true. The villa is superbly and thoughtfully equipped - so far we've not missed anything that we could have done with. The views from the terrasse are amazing, and it's tempting to spend the day just taking it all in. John and Elaine are excellent and welcoming hosts, providing useful local knowledge and being on hand, without intruding. We look forward to seeing them on our return visits. Collioure is a lovely little town with a real buzz to it. We were happy to spend mornings and evenings wandering round, shopping, having coffee and drinks, and relaxing. It is easy to get out to spectacular beaches and interesting places to visit, without feeling that you're driving for miles. We're now approaching our fourth visit, and feel increasingly like we're coming home! Rent this lovely villa and find out for yourselves - but not in our weeks please!

We stayed for 1 week during May 2009, and wish we had booked two weeks instead. Lovely comfortable apartment, with plenty of space and fabulous views from the huge terrace. Everything we needed was supplied - and the "welcome pack" was indeed much welcomed! Our 5 year old thought it was great - plenty of space to play and run about, and the DVD player was a godsend when he was tired and during the few days of windy weather that we had. The information pack was really useful - and had we stayed longer we would have taken our hire car and visited a few of the places suggested - perhaps we can do that next time! As it was, the car really didn't get used much for the one week we were there as there are so many things to see and do on foot. We felt very welcome - thank you for letting us stay in your lovely apartment. We recommend it to everyone! S,V&J

We stayed here on 18th July 2009 for 2 weeks with our three kids aged 10,9 and 5. We have already agreed to go back next year! Collioure is a lovely town, and this villa is an easy and really pleasant walk away ( 10 mins max) . John and Elaine have thought of everything in terms of equipment/furnishings. The patio is lovely and spacious with fab sea views and the shared pool clean and pleasant. The accomodation itself is immaculate - everything seems brand new - and in good working order. John's user guide is brilliant! We have stayed in lots of rental properties in France and this beats all the others for location, equipment, and comfort!

My second visit to the villa this year and look to book again in 2009. The accomodation is so well presented and spotlessly clean, there was nothing I could pick fault with. The views from the terrace are simply wonderful and just a joy to sit and have breakfast every morning. The Villa has everthing that you could wish for in its equipment and modern facilities. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms it is very comfortable for a family. I hired a car but was happy to leave it in the drive and walk everywhere as the main town of Collioure is but a short and enjoyable walk away. We stayed at the villa between 6 - 13 September 2008. The first thing we appreciated was the "Welcome Pack" which was very welcome after a long journey. We were left, bread, wine, cheese, ham and fruit which went down a treat. We were greeted by the owner who showed us around the property and ran through with us all that we needed to know, ie, how to use the cooker, where to put the rubbish etc. The villa was immaculately clean and very tidy. The owners have equipped it with everything that is necessary for a self-catering holiday [and more!]. It is very modern and has fantastic views from the balcony and the patio area. Having two bathrooms makes it ideal for a large family or two couples. Another nice touch was the Information folder which contained information on local supermarkets, a review of local restaurants, places to visit etc. The villa is ideally situated. It took us approximatly 10 minutes to walk into Collioure and about the same, possibly a bit longer, to walk the other way into Port Vendre. You must take a ride on the little train that takes you up above Collioure with a great picture opportunity at the top. The view is breathtaking. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes all around and a small supermarket [Shopi] in the heart of Collioure. We couldn't have asked for anything better and would highly recommend this villa for a great holiday.
