The room wasn't big but there was everything we needed, IT was cleanand bed was comfortable. The breakfast was also pleasant And we liked Mrs. Mint who served it she was really nice.The location Is Ok with many buses going downtown within about an hour.

IT depends WHO makes the breakfast. One lady prepaired very tasty ones, the other didn' t cook the sousage and the egg properly. If you stay longer, the breakfasts become bit monotounous. There are 4 options 3 Are variatons od eggs on different ways, Bacon/sousage and potatoes. Option 4 are pancakes.

Location, quiet and many green in Summer. It is not center of Vancouver, but public transportation is available and it is easy to access to downtown. For access to the building and room I used Goki App. It was first time for me to use, but easy and convenient.

Opinions may vary depending on what we want, but this time I had no plans to do any sightseeing and stayed until my early morning flight, so I had no complaints at all.

I paid for a pullout sofa bed and couldn’t find linen for it.

Fab location. On the campus as public transport easily accessible. Many places on campus to rest. Very quiet and lovely area.

A bit tatty in places. Breakfast was ok but the coffee was awful.

The Carey is on the UBC campus and is really close to Nitobe Gardens and the Museum of Anthropology. Very convenient to attend our daughters UBC graduation ceremony.

Room is a basic dorm room. Construction noise next door started at 530 am. No AC means windows are open at night.

Direkt auf dem Unigelände (was uns gefallen hat und es war sehr ruhig auf dem Uni Gelände) Schlicht und einfach gehalten, aber ok. Bus station in 10 mins fußweg erreichbar für downtown. Frühstücksangebot okay.

The main area was pleasant. There was a secure door to the stairwell, which was nice.

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable (we literally stayed in a hostel the two nights before that has 10x the comfort and cleanliness of this place) and the window shades inoperable. The many faces behind the front desk showed zero hospitality skills or knowledge of the business. When I asked about additional towels and coffee for the room I was assured that there was daily room service and that I need not make the trip to ask. Well….after returning from a long day out we discovered that there was no room service and we had no clean towels to use in time to get ready for a concert that night. And did I mention parking? There were cars parked along the side as it appeared they sold more spots than were available. Everything about this stay was frustrating. I’ve had wonderful stays at other Canadian university’s in the summer that I have loved and I was so disappointed by this one!

We were going to a launch event in Kitsilano which was ideal for us, as we did not have to drive far to get to the destination on west 4th.

I didn't like that the remote tv control was a problem. We reported to the receptionist who asked our permission to enter our room to check out the tv and remote control. When we returned later, it was fixed.

Bed very uncomfortable and worn out mattress!

Lovely girl at office very helpful, being a Uni college it’s not your typical hotel but we were just looking for cheap accommodation not far from airport or city and Carey centre fitted the bill and it included breakfast! Bed was super soft, room is cosy but comfortable with bathroom- perfect for overnight stay. Lots of restaurants and takeaway shops very close by. Brekkie was hot brekkie and continental enjoyed our stay.

It’s very “basic”. No bedside tables, old paint, electric outlets were sketchy. It looks and feels like a dorm room.

The breakfast was one of our highlights of the day. The food was very satisfying and the staff were always polite and helpful. The choices available to us was so varied and delicious.

We liked everything.

Location was nice: walking distance from buses & some stores in the university. It was clean, seemed well maintained, there was enough space for me and my friend. Check in and check out was easy. I wouldn't be opposed to coming to stay here again.

Do not put "full English breakfast" on your ad because that is not what breakfast was at all. I appreciate there WAS breakfast, it was really helpful, but it wasn't the best and definitely wasn't what was said on the listing I saw. There need to be clearer instructions for the door. To get in we had to: hold door handle down, put in key card, take key card out, then open the door. It wouldn't open unless we did those steps specifically.

We checked in late and it was very easy. It was the quietest hotel I think I've ever stayed in. The location was fantastic.

It included breakfast but it was pretty greasy.

The price is right. The room was generally clean and comfortable although basic. Included breakfast was okay though with limited choices.

Minor things: hair in the sink drain, yuck. Bare electrical wires from one of the lamps, dangerous enough to seriously harm someone and something that should have been noticed by someone other than me.

Free breakfast. Allowed for early check in. Private room and bathroom.
