Das Star Gazy befindet sich in einer ruhigen Fußgängerzone. Einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt befindet sich ein privater Parkplatz. Ein großer Bonus in St. Ives Der Strand von Porthmeor ist nur wenige Gehminuten von der Hütte entfernt. Alle anderen Strände, Cafés und kleinen Geschäfte usw. erreichen Sie in 5 Gehminuten. Nachdem Sie die Hütte betreten haben, führen Sie 6 Stufen in den Speisesaal, dann ist alles auf einer Ebene. Stern Gazy wurde vor rund 200 Jahren als Speicher für Fisch ursprünglich gebaut und wurde vor etwa 100 Jahren auf ein komfortables 3-Zimmer-Haus umgewandelt. Stern Gazy behält einige seiner ursprünglichen Eigenschaften einschließlich Dielenboden im Esszimmer und Schlafzimmer, und Balken und Granit im Speisesaal. Es ist hell und luftig und mit Blick auf den Garten auf der Wiese. Es wurde darauf geachtet bei der Auswahl Möbel und Geräte machen das Haus als schrullig und komfortabel wie möglich gemacht. Ein Willkommenspaket mit Tee, Kaffee und Keksen wird auf Sie warten, und unsere Haushälterin bemüht sich, ein paar Sachen in der Hütte für Ihren Gebrauch, Spülmittel, Salz, Pfeffer, Handseife usw. zu lassen. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind professionell reinigen und im Preis inbegriffen. Strandtücher, Kinderbetten, Kinderwagen, Hochstühle und andere Geräte können direkt in der Star Linen St. gemietet werden. Und wird geliefert und für Sie abgeholt. Lokale Lebensmittelgeschäft usw. sind nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Supermärkte sind am Rande der Stadt.

We had a fantastic week at Star Gazy.
The cottage was spacious, light, bright, clean and so well equipped!
Location is in a really quiet street but still only a 2 minute walk to Porthmeor beach. We loved wandering down at night and watching the sunset.
Outside tap so useful for washing wetsuits.
Car park a bonus.
We would definitely return.

This sweet cottage is less than a minute’s walk from the beautiful Porthmeor Beach in St Ives. It has everything you need for a holiday. A real home from home feel too. You can easily get to the shops and, although there isn’t a view of the sea, you can hear the distant sounds of the waves from the beach which is really lovely! The only thing to be aware of is the parking is up a pretty steep road/steps and takes about 5-10 minutes depending on how fit you are and it can be tricky with traffic flow getting in and out of the parking spot. But overall it is a super place, especially if you intend to spend most of your time on the beautiful Porthmeor Beach!

There is a steep set of steps leading you to the first floor of the property. It does not have a safety rail. This is not up to code.

Perfect location right opposite the beach and two minutes from the town. Nice accommodation but could have been cleaner. I found crumbs in my bedroom and dirt between the settee. The accommodation did need updating and a proper deep clean. If your not too particular it’s the ideal accommodation at a good price.,

Lovely cottage in a great location, but the steps may be problematic for some. It was great being able to get to the beach in seconds, as well as being able to walk into town so quickly. We didn’t use the car all week.

We had a lovely stay at Star Gazy. The locations is perfect for Porthmeor Beach and the town. Having a car space was an added bonus. The cottage was great if a little worn but we were there at the end of a very busy season. Would definitely book again xx

Enjoyable stay
We had an enjoyable stay at star Gazy Cottage. Sandra’s communication was brilliant from booking to leaving. The location of the property was incredible-just a few feet away from the beach and shops.
I do think that maybe the bathroom could do with updating as the shower is very small. But all in all a positive stay. Thank you Sandra.

We had a great time at StarGazy, great location close to both town and the beach. Check in was simple and the owner was easy to communicate with. Although there’s a few steps to enter once you are in it’s great to have property all on one level. Would stay again

Half term in St Ives
Cottage was lovely but the steep steps into the property should be highlighted on the main advert as it was tough to get up them with our cases!
The actual cottage was lovely and perfect for us as everyone had a bit of space.
Central location was fab too.
Great shore fishing from Porthmeor Beach. Lovely coastal walks and The Tate and Barbara Hepworth Museum we’re worth a visit.

Delightful cottage
Perfectly located, quaint cosy cottage- very quiet location, a note of caution- stairs up to and into the property are steep. Car parking space is a fair distance from the property and there is a challenging walk to the parking space which in itself is a challenge due to limited space if one owns a bigger car. Bathroom although functional could do with updating (radiator, mirror, shower all rather tatty) this didn’t spoil our stay and we would certainly return here in the future.

StarGazy - the perfect retreat
A lovely cottage right in the heart of St Ives. The location couldn't have been better, a short walk to the shops, bars and restaurants and a minute from the beach. Star Gazy is the perfect place to stay, had every amenity we could want. Highly recommended, would certainly stay there again.

Cosy cottage in ideal location
Would heartily recommend. We were a party of four adults (parents and grandparents) and two children aged 4 and 5. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The check in process was quick and simple and the parking space is a massive bonus. We have a people carrier and it fitted in fine.
Plenty of hot water, the washing machine was very handy as was the outside tap.
There are some outside steps on the walk up to the house which are fairly steep but posed us no problems. Ideal location for Porthmeor beach and the harbour. You can’t see the sea from the property but you can hear it which was lovely.

Location, location, location!
We loved our week at Star Gazy. The location is wonderful, on a very quiet alley, close to the beach, close to Fore Street, close to wonderful galleries starting with the Tate, and close to the Porthmeor Beach Cafe. The cottage is charmingly decorated with very comfortable beds and everything you need. The washer/dryer and the gas fireplace were especially appreciated.

Cosy, well-equipped and brilliant location.
This lovely little cottage is situated in Downalong but unlike most of the fishermans cottages here it is all on one level when you get inside. It was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. No sea views but
only a stone's throw from Porthmeor beach. Very close to excellent restaraunts and shops and no steep hills to climb if you are older or disabled as we were. We needed to contact the owner a couple of times but found the lady very helpful and we were made to feel very welcome and 'at home' we would definitely stay here again if in St Ives.
