We used this as a home base for my best friends bachelorette party and it was absolutely perfect! So clean, beautifully decorated and put together, well stocked with all kinds of amenities and items (for example, they had makeup remover in all the bathrooms and coffee available, very thoughtful little touches), central location and the hosts were very responsive to any concerns we had. Would definitely recommend to anyone for any reason!

This house was perfect with the cleanliness, size, and layout for 8 girls on a bachelorette trip! in addition the location was close to everything you need (bars, grocery stores, and beach)! would absolutely recommend staying at this house again

Place was exactly as listed, clean, modern and close to the beach and other attractions. Four bedrooms over 3 floors meant, plus 4 outside spaces including the rooftop hot tub meant lots of space for everyone. The kitchen and living room were well designed, also, making it easy to make meals and still interact with others. The two full bathrooms are located within/between bedrooms, so one to note when planning who sleeps in the basement bedroom. But otherwise, a very nice place that we'd definitely stay in again and recommend.

Wonderful stay. Host was communicative, accommodating, and extremely welcoming. Shared recommendations on the neighborhood and helped with bag drop prior to check in. Went above and beyond to make sure our stay was fantastic. Can’t say enough about the property and hospitality.

Our family stayed at this beautiful property for 4 nights. Wonderful location, incredibly spacious, clean, and fully stocked property- with amazing decks with views! Alan was easy to communicate with, and responded immediately to any of our questions/request. While the beds were super comfy, they were a bit on the small side. But other than that- 5 stars all around. We will definitely be back. Anne

Recently stayed in this property with our family. The hosts were very communicative, great location (walking distance to Mission Bay & Beach + Catamaran Resort) and lots of room to enjoy the home.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Great location and friendly owner who was informative and willing to go the extra mile and deliver shampoo and conditioner refills on demand and when needed. :+) Customer Service was awesome. Plenty of decks and locations to grabfor some privacy and alone time when needed (if sharing with a large group as we were). Decks and views are great. And you are walking distance to Roxy's...best burgers EVER. Can't beat that!

We stayed with a large group for a birthday party. There was plenty of space throughout the house for everyone to have their own privacy but also great group space to gather together and enjoy each other’s company. It was clean and open. So beautiful with so much outdoor space! The bathrooms were great and fully stocked with things you wouldn’t even think of! The kitchen had everything we needed and so much space! And the outdoor space was phenomenal! We were also able to walk down and enjoy the local community as well as the beach. The host was amazing! Always available and quickly responded with anything that we needed.

Such a great house for a family vacation! Beautiful home and great jumping off point for many local attractions. Easily walkable to beach and restaurants. Will be back for sure!

Great location. Minutes from the beach, restaurants, Old Town, Corando, etc. The house is very nice. Has everything you need when traveling with extended family and friends. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this home after finishing a business trip and we couldn’t wait to leave a happy review for these hosts! The house itself is stunning, has a great view of the bay, super close to the beach, extremely clean, and the private rooftop hot tub was a cherry on top! These hosts really went the extra mile in every aspect and we would highly recommend this stay to anyone!!

Our family of 4 spent a portion of our Spring Break in this lovely home. We had a great time and the house has everything you could ever need. It was very conveniently located within a short drive of downtown San Diego and La Jolla - two of our favorite places in SoCal. We had donuts, coffee and other essentials already waiting for us upon our arrival which was a very nice touch. We already recommended this place to our friends who are visiting the area in May. Can’t wait to return one day!

Upscale property with plenty of space for the family and a great location to the beaches, restaurants, and attractions. Nearly everything works, but it is time for some periodic maintenance on some kitchen appliances and furniture.

Our party of 6 adults stayed over a week. The unit is clean and modern. It’s close to the bay beach but Mission Beach is more work. Neighborhood is safe and quiet. It wasn’t too far to drive anywhere. Many places to eat close by and a Ralph’s an easy drive. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans but not overly so. Appliances are high end but have some issues. Owner said he would email the entry code but we never got it. We called him direct only 5 hours before our scheduled arrival time to get the code (this should never happen). A few things to know: You don’t get a garage door code. So, someone needs to enter the house via the front door to press the opener (a bit of a pain). On other rentals, there’s pad outside garage door. We don’t understand the statement that there are safety or security reasons behind the practice. The fridge has no working ice maker. One is present in the freezer compartment but we found no instructions and a half bag of ice in the freezer. Re: hot tub. No instructions provided. It took us quite a while to figure out how to get it to heat up beyond 90. Inside the unit there is a distinct loud hum when the hot tub is running. Little in the way of basic spices in the pantry. There wasn’t enough salt and pepper to last more than 2 meals and little else. No cooking oil at all, a poor selection of measuring cups and no measuring spoons. Could do with more mixing bowls. Very few full-sized glasses, mostly glasses for bar drink. We only found 4 non-steak knives. Stove’s burners seemed to run hot so don’t jack up the knobs too much. Some, though not all, of the bedrooms don’t provide much shelving or drawers in which to store your belongings. There are 4 plastic chairs that surround the main eating table plus a very nice wood bench, allowing for 6 to sit comfortably. The plastic chairs are hard and got uncomfortable after awhile.

Had a great time with my friends celebrating our 40th birthdays. The roof top deck and jacuzzi with amazing views especially at night put this place over the top.

Do not stay here. We had to adjust our vacation by one night which was approved over a month prior to our stay and fell under the 100% refund policy. the owner kept the money until after our stay and decided that he would only give a portion of that nights fee back to us. He was extremely rude to deal with and was condescending when he said that i just didnt understand the math he was doing to process the refund….. um no, 100% means a full refund for the night and it shouldn't have taken him two months to do it. I booked through directly through vrbo and they are unable to help us as well. Additionally all of the lights in the master bathroom were not working and he made a big deal about sending a electrician out to fix them asking if we really needed the lights?!?Additionally we had planned on grilling at the house. i should have known better because the white wall behind the grill was completely black from smoke when we arrived. when i went to grill in the poorly lit patio that evening the bottom of the grill caught on fire because it was filled with charred debris. It looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a year and when we told him that it had caught fire he asked us to clean it out for him!!!!! I grill every week and clean my grill often but i didn't come on vacation to take apart and clean someone else's disgusting grill. You would think he would take more care of it due to the fire hazard. Anyway, don’t waste your time or money on this property.

We had an amazing vacation at this beautiful spacious beach property. Location was fantastic, close walk to the beach. The owner was very helpful and attentive. Everything was perfect for both adults and kids. We can’t wait to come back!

My family and I spent four days at this house and we greatly enjoyed our visit. Plenty of space, garage parking, excellent views. The neighborhood was very walkable and the property is not far from Seaworld or the zoo. I highly recommend staying here. Also, kudos to the owner Alan. Very communicative and he provided recommendations for family spots and other local establishments.

We had 7 people staying at this property. Three generations (from 9yr old to 59yr old). It met all of our needs. There was a great room for the kids and plenty of rooms for the adults. Everything was pristine and well kept. The distance to the bay was perfect and we loved being able to park in the garage! One of our favorites was the view from the rooftop! It was gorgeous! I would highly recommend this property. My only caution would be the number of stairs. If you have bad knees or you are unable to use stairs, this property is not for you. Otherwise...it is definitely five star!

After moving away from San Diego 3 years ago, we wanted to stay somewhere to enjoy some of our favorite haunts and this house did not disappoint. There was plenty of space for my family and we were able to walk to the beach as well as some great restaurants. The house was immaculate upon entry and we enjoyed every moment of our 5 day stay. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting SoCal.
