Our best Vacation ever!! Loved everything about this condo for our family! Everything was clean, and ready for us when we arrived. Only issue was top bunk was broken in 3rd bedroom, but let the property manager know about that the first night. We did a kayak tour though Amelia Island Kayak tours on one of the days, so much fun!! We will definitely be back!!

We always love Amelia! It was my birthday with 6 of my friends and we had a blast. The bed and bathroom situation was ideal. We loved the large patio off the living room. Great views! Only downside was not knowing the pool was being maintenance and drained. We made the best of it though!

This condo has spectacular views and a very quick walk to the beach. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The beach supplies, towels, and beach toys was a great touch. I was extremely disappointed in a few things. In the pictures and description that we saw before we rented, it was noted that the pool was close. When we arrived, we learned that the advertised pool was closed, and we had to drive to get to a pool. The condo had a musty smell when we came in and if you didn’t run the AC the on high it came back. The couches clearly had pets on them. My wife couldn’t even sit on them without getting itchy from the leftover allergens. There was a good amount of dust on fixtures and items across the condo. You can tell that the condo was updated in certain places (kitchen, patio, coat of paint when compared to other reviews). However, the condo needs a facelift and better upkeep especially the bathroom shower and closet doors, some were not even fully attached. Additionally, the side patio is beautiful but full of sand and no broom for us to clean it up to be able to fully enjoy it. Additionally, for what we paid, it was the most expensive condo we saw on VRBO to accommodate our family, I was really disappointed.

The condo, furnishings and view were all exceptional. The furnished rooftop terrace is a perfect place to watch the sunrise while drinking that first cup of coffee. Also, it was VERY clean.

We rented this property for a week long family Thanksgiving Trip. We regretted doing it as soon as we landed in Jacksonville. Jacqueline with Amelia Island Vacations called 2 hours before check in to tell us" They were painting the patio and we wouldnt have use of it for a day due to weather" Upon arriving in the unit we realized it wasnt a coat of paint. It was a major remodel of the patio. There was metal mesh exposed on all four sides, there was no furniture and the entire end of the unit was covered in plastic so you couldn't see outside.. We asked to be relocated, let out of our reservation or reduce the rent. They did nothing excpt send over their maintenance man Thor, who was the only positive experiece we had with the management company, to take down the plastic rope off half the patio for the week. The Patio was why we rented the unit. Jacqueline and Amelia Island Vacations didn not care. If that wasnt enough, there is a family who lives there year round above this unit that has two small children. They start running around @ 7am every morning. You cannot sleep through it.. We talked to them but every moring like clock work, you can hear loud running everday. The unit is in a great location. My advice would be to locate a unit on the top 6th floor and one not managed by Amelia Island Vacations.

The place is amazing. Two bedrooms have balconies overlooking the ocean. The living room has nice big windows facing the water. It was so relaxing having the ocean literally in your living room. The check-in process with the guard gate was a bit confusing as they couldn’t find our reservation. Ultimately, it was under Dunlop property management not Amelia island vacations. Just FYI in case you experience the same thing. A few of parts are in need of repair - like some of the windows don’t open/close perfectly. But overall, it really didn’t matter as the views/rooms were just outstanding. Would stay again for sure

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo! The views were outstanding and the layout of the condo really took advantage of that. We loved having both an open sky patio and a covered one to enjoy soaking in all of that good ocean air. The walkway to the beach couldn't have been easier and it was a short walk to the outstanding pool complex as well. The condo was comfortably furnished and we didn't want to leave! Already planning another trip back to this vacation oasis!

Gate security had NO record of our reservation. We had to provide confirmation and information for them to put us in the system. Given wrong code for pool, twice. No access over the weekend. It was 3 days into the vacation before this was fixed. Beds were uncomfortable. One toilet was broken. Wifi only good in living room and first bedroom; back 2 bedrooms had no wifi. Will not rent under Amelia Island Vacations again.

This is the third year we have stayed at this condo and it doesn't disapoint. The view is wonderful from the living area as well as two of the bedrooms. The kids love the pool and the landscaping is beautiful. The only issue out of all three years is that this year there was a lock on the thermostat and we felt like it was a bit warm but they did bring us in some box fans.

Everything was very nice except the refrigerator/freezer completely went out The property manager sent someone to check and they bought a small refrigerator but without coolers and family staying in a near by condo it was most inconvenient

My husband and two grown children and I had an amazing stay here at Sea Dunes unit 1667. Cannot thank the owners enough for such a comfortable, cozy, and well equipped home away from home! The property managers were fabulous as well. It’s true that the views are Spectacular. We enjoyed sunrise at the beach and viewing the sunset across the marsh. As beautiful and comfortable as the condo is, the patio balcony sealed the deal! I’ve stayed at Sea Dunes before, actually the unit just above this one 1677, so I knew the views would be amazing in the complex it’s self is in a great location. But I liked this condo even better. The set up is very cozy and we certainly felt at home there. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We were not made aware of the construction above us. We actually checked out early because the jack hammering was so bad. The property itself is wonderful, comfortable and clean. We came to rest after loosing my mother days before. Needed peace and quiet to rest.

We stayed with our 3 boys (3, 6 and 7 years old). Two of our boys loved the bunk beds and the other enjoyed his own room...with a view! The views were even better than on the listing. The owners had fairly recently upgraded some of the furniture and it was very nice. The beach was very great and not busy at all...same with the pool. Overall, a very good, quiet, comfortable and relaxing location and condo! We plan to come back and stay again.

I never write reviews, but let me just say this is one of the nicest places I have stayed in and I am super picky about where I like to stay. This place had plenty of room for 4 adults. It was incredibly clean and well maintained. Not to mention absolutely beautiful inside and the location was just perfect for us. We will continue to book this property ahead of time to make sure it's availability. We all wanted to just move in permanently. Also, this condo was sooo well stocked with things we weren't expecting. Beach umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, etc. We all cook a lot and the kitchen had everything and then some that we needed. Can't say enough good things about this place!

Condo was perfect for my family of five (wife, daughter, 2 boys). Great views, great property, and a welcome respite from COVID-driven craziness!

We spent a wonderful week here and loved it! The property is as described. Being a pet friendly rental, we always worry about the cleanliness. This was the cleanest place we have stayed at with our dog. There was some unfinished construction on the patio, but I think the property manager was under the impression that this had been completed before our stay. They were excellent to work with. The view was beautiful and we felt like we could social distance while in the plantation and on the beach. We’ve vacationed at the plantation for years and can’t wait to return!

All the reviews I had read were accurate. Nice place. Great views! Some water damage on walls in master bedroom. Paint was bubbling. The patio had some Incomplete construction which was fine since we didn’t have little ones. Had 6 adults and it was cozy. Certainly couldn’t fit any more people. We would rent again.

One of our favorite places! Views are definitely amazing. Love the walkways and seeing the turtles. No issues at all with condo.

Condo was clean and well stocked. Great patio. Would stay there again.

If you're looking for a great beach vacation, this condo @ Amelia Island Plantation is where you want to stay. It's spacious with wonderful southerly views of the ocean / beach. Two nice balconies - one from which you can watch both sunrises and sunsets. It's clean with all the amenities that you'll need. I've stayed in many condos on the plantation ... and this one is my fav!

Condo was great. Lots of room and perfect location and view of the ocean Amelia Island properties did not have the condo ready on time and seemed unfamiliar with directions on how to get there. Also, they were unable to fix a shower door during our stay. Great beach and saw shells galore. Be prepared to use swim shoes to protect your feet on the sand.

The description stated that this condo slept 9 however it only slept 7. Two of our friends had to get a hotel room to be able to sleep everyone comfortably. When attempting to contact the owner there was been zero response. If you have a party 7 you will be fine however do not book if you have anymore than that.

While the real estate person was nice to let us know the beautiful deck (one of the reasons we booked in the first place) would be closed after we had booked and even gave us a discount, we were not notified that the pool was also closed. Clearly limited where we could enjoy the sun! The place was otherwise very nice.

The condo was nice but needs some attention. The master bedroom ceiling was leaking. There was something “growing” out of the carpet from all the moisture. The door to the balcony from the Master bedroom was also not working so we were not able to enjoy the balcony from the bedroom. The balcony off the kitchen has a beautiful view, unfortunately very hard to enjoy as there were 2 wasps nests outside of the sliding glass doors. So we spent most of our time swatting at wasps.

The views from the bedrooms and living room are outstanding. The deck off of the living space is bright and sunny and the smaller balcony off of the bedrooms is a nice shady spot in the afternoon. Pamela with Amelia Island Vacations was very responsive and helpful during our stay. We hope to be back again!

Stepping onto the outdoor deck at Whispering Palms, the ocean view and fresh ocean breezes instantly renewed our energy after the long drive from up North. "Let's move in!" I laughed (but part of me wasn't joking!). Within seconds, the kids had grabbed a pair of binoculars from the windowsill and spotted boats cruising by and umbrellas dotting the wide beach right below us. "Where's the pool I saw on Google Maps?" I asked. From the 5th floor, we could see it all. "Over there by the palm trees," my son exclaimed. Have you ever arrived at a vacation rental and thought to yourself that the pictures didn't show the real story? Well this place definitely exceeded our expectations. We arrived at the entry gate to the Omni resort and were greeted by really pleasant security guards who directed us to our condo rental and even offered to escort us there! The condo had an easy to use electronic keypad so we didn't have to worry about losing keys at the beach. We immediately noticed the personal touches like a nice bottle of wine to enjoy during our stay. We must have ridden the elevator one hundred times during the week as we went back and forth between the beach, pool, and Harris Teeter grocery store a short drive away, but it was never crowded and really quick riding up to the 5th floor. We felt like we lived at the condo complex because it was such a quiet, peaceful building and the security guards got to know us and our vehicle after the second day. I know I keep mentioning it, but you could actually live in this vacation rental, it's so large! Each of the three bedrooms has it's own private bathroom with shower. The kitchen had plenty of space to prep and cook, along with all the tools and gadgets we needed to make a meal for the whole family to enjoy out on the large patio. My kids spread out on the window seat overlooking the ocean every morning and my wife used it to enjoy the view while working on her laptop. When it was time to walk and play on the beach every morning, it was great to use the provided beach umbrella and chairs. What I loved about the beach out front were the outdoor showers and pool access so we could head up to the condo after a long day of sun fresh and clean. In the evening people strolled by on sunset walks and after dark we saw people with flashlights exploring the beach. I thought they might be looking for crabs or turtles, but they just said, "Nope, we're just having fun exploring." That pretty much summed up our stay, too!
