Windy View is a super cute spot in a quiet area on the island - easy to walk to a small grocery, grab some to-go morning arepas, or journey to Roland's Bar at Playa Manzanillo. Martha was always there to answer questions and helped us locate any resources we needed (scooter rental, info about hiking, scuba, etc...). We stayed in the bottom floor (Garden View apartment) which was perfect - it has a great kitchen with a fridge and enough supplies to cook a few meals. What an incredible book and CD collection, a playable guitar, outside hammocks to lounge in, and AC in the bedrooms. Nothing can match waking up and watching a serene sunset on the patio, enjoying a warm breeze over a cup of coffee. The property has a private, well-maintained yard as well to explore and park in.

The listing on this website made it a little confusing to figure out which apartment we were renting (top floor vs. bottom floor) as all of the pictures are the same on each listing. Both are beautiful, though!

We had an amazing stay at this place. From the beginning, Martha was extremely accommodating and friendly. She was flexible about check in and provided us recommendations and contacts to help with our trip. The place itself is very well maintained, clean, large and has everything you could ask for. It’s ocean view, has a large outdoor patio space and a well appointed kitchen. We wished we could’ve stayed longer!

Beautiful property with a lovely garden and a wonderful view. Our host was super friendly and helpful. The apartment is spacious and has a great kitchen. Both bedrooms have an AC and I loved the little terrace with the hammocks looking at the sea.

Martha was an absolutely amazing host, helped with every question and any individual needs like calling taxis, room questions, recommendations and other contacts. She went above and beyond in helping make the stay as comfortable as possible. The view and breeze from the hammocks cannot be beat either.

The location is ideal for the great beaches round the south side of the island. The apartment has great views around the area, it is really spacious, the AC in the bedroom is really effective. Martha was a massive help throughout our trip, assisting us in getting a vehicle during our stay and finding a snorkelling tour for us on Christmas morning and when I somehow managed to snap a key (!!!). The apartment was very clean and had all the necessities for a stay. PS. Seriously cute puppy!

Windy view was a great property to stay at. Our host Martha was amazing, super friendly! Cleaning for us, changing towels and bedding regularly too. She was always in the garden and happy to help us with transport around the island, advising on places to eat and helping us with our sunburn! It was a cosy, well kept home that we would definitely recommend staying in!

This is more of a personal preference. The house does not have windows as such. It is an open house so you need to use a mosquito net for the bed and animals can go inside at night (I spotted a bat and a cat) in the house. However, I do acknowledge that this is a typical design for the island and it is very well preserved

The house is perfectly located. The view is stunning. Martha is super kind to help us enjoying the island.

The quiet, private location surrounded by a tranquil garden was walkable to a beautiful beach. Our host was extremely friendly, helpful and informative about the island. She had clear communication about our stay and suggestions for activities.

Location was fantastic. The hosts were super accommodating, I would not hesitate to stay here again for longer!

Marta was a nice, polite, wonderful host. We had a great time in villa. Villa is really good equipped. You don t get internet. 3g is not so fast.. better if u rent a scooter. The beach is 30 minutes by walk.
