This was a very nicely maintained cabin. Owner was very responsive and helpful. My son enjoyed fishing on the channel from the floating dock. We really enjoyed our stay have already begun researching future dates to come back.

Five friends stayed for 3 nights while attending a retreat. Location was great, 15 minute drive to event. House is very clean, comfortable and surrounding area was quiet!! We all would highly recommend this property and property manager. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

We spent a week there with our kids and grandkids. Kayaking and boating every day. Campfires every night.
The cottage was spotless and well equipped, The hosts were available if we needed anything , but not bothersome. We had a multitude of water toys available.

We came here for a bachelorette party with a fairly small group (9 total). The check in process was not well communicated - the cabin was simply left unlocked and someone dropped off a key after we arrived in case we left. It would have been a much smoother process with a contactless check in. The person also expected a second signed agreement to rent & expected a credit card number listed in writing on a copy that only she received. There were many rules and expectations, with the caveat that she would be charging even more money if not followed to a T. It was a beautiful place, however the reservation process was not ideal, nor would I do it again for those reasons. It was also overpriced for the stay, given that I’ve had many Stays for the same reasons with *bigger groups * for less money & more to offer!

Excellent property and host! Beautiful, newer cabin that was plenty spacious for my family of 4 and meticulously cleaned. Could have easily slept 10. We rented their pontoon and enjoyed boating, fishing and the restaurants. Great fire pit for evenings. Nice grill. Highly recommend this cabin!

The owner was very responsive and the cabin was very nice. The setting was peaceful and relaxing. We really enjoyed the community water items (paddle board and kayaks) that are included with the rental.

This beautiful cabin is like a five star hotel with authentic rustic feel all rolled in one! It was important to us to have outdoor activities such a kayaking and this place provides it!

Beautiful Cabin
Nice new cabin with fresh cedar smell was great, all new appliances, air conditioning, etc. Close to restaurants, bars, etc that we could enjoy right on the water, etc. Location close to other cities for shopping a plus.
We were disappointed to find out the cabin was not directly on Partridge Lake as the ad stated. Rather we were 4 properties behind the lake with no view of the lake, and located down a small channel with a less than desirable view.

*Arm bar for shower. My mom didn’t feel safe getting out of the tub.
*Laundry (optional, but I made two trips to Waupaca which was wasted vacation time)

Lovely Lakeside Cabin!
We took a trip to Wisconsin for my mother-in-law's 90th birthday so she could visit the town in which she grew up. The cabin was so perfect for myself, husband, mother-in-law and 2 adult daughters. We cooked all of our meals there and found everything we needed. The only thing we were missing was a way to make ice; some ice trays would be a plus to have, but everything else was easy. I LOVED not having internet access or great cell service because it meant people weren't spending time on their phones and devices but hanging out, talking, playing games and enjoying each other's company. A perfect get-away! Comfortable beds, plush towels, easy access to the family spots we wanted to visit!

Beautiful cabin!
The Blue Heron is a beautiful place to stay. My family and I have been coming up to the wolf river for fishing before I was even born. The upstairs sleeps a ton of people and it’s great to have a cabin with two bathrooms! The fire pit adds the perfect touch to the lake house feel! We bought wood from the resort right up the street and made s’mores! The only recommendation that we have is to have a fish cleaning station closer to the water where were able to get some lighting but that’s only because we come specifically for the fishing. Otherwise, it was a beautiful place to stay, they supply all dish ware- pots, pans, utensils, plates, etc. we would recommend this cabin to anyone and everyone!

Very Nice Cabin
A few little things that would have been nice to know ahead of time like no washcloths are provided and only one towel per guest per stay provided. Towels get a little stinky by the end of a 6 day stay, had we known we would have brought some of our own. A couple of mechanical issues but overall a nice stay in a beautiful part of Wisconsin!

We had a great time!
I hosted my best friend’s bachelorette party here! We had 10 ladies and had a great time. There was enough room and space for everyone. Our theme was Let’s Get Nauti and it fit so well with the cabin, river and our adventure out in downtown Fremont! We enjoyed the large yard which offered plenty of space for games. We had a fire on Friday and spent time down by the water. Rhonda was so easy to work with and made it very easy to check in and get any of our questions answered. Thanks!!

Two families, one great big fun time
We loved it. Thank you, Rhonda, for a clean and beautiful rental. The kitchen was great for breakfasts and the kids loved playing board games in the loft while the adults got to use the bedrooms on the main level away from the noise. The deck was gorgeous but we unfortunately spent a lot of time away from the cabin during the day. Recommend!
