Tom and Emily were great to work with. The house was as advertised for a large group of us in town for the Ironman race. We had plenty of space to be together but separate if needed and there were 17 of us! Every thing we needed was onsite and in great condition. We had a few needs that Emily took care of immediatly.
The location to all things Lake Placid was perfect; we loved the games, the large Connect 4 turned into a whole house competition one night! Great house and wonderful experience, I would definitely recommend for a group!

We enjoyed our trip to this vacation home so much! It had everhthing our family of 17 (ages 3-94) needed! Two dishwashers, two ovens, two refrigerators, two washers, two dryers!
Everyone had plenty of room to spread out; the kids enjoyed the enclosed porch with the games and puzzles provided. I especially appreciated the extra hand bars in the shower on the first floor for my 94 year old Dad.
The location is perfect for a visit to Lake Placid. Family walked the short distance to Main Street multiple times a day, enjoying the beach, kayaking, restaurants and, of course, ice cream! The weather was perfect! For the first time in traveling together for thirty years, the family hopes to come back to stay here next year! That really says something about the perfectness of this property!

This house was perfect for our large group of friends. Everyone was comfortable in their own spaces yet we still had space to be together in the well-equipped kitchen. We cooked all of our dinners here and had plenty of space in the 2 refrigerator(our kids now want 2 at our own home). The location couldn’t be better. We could easily walk into town and Whiteface was less than a 30 minute drive.

After organizing a skip trip for 15 years at 14 different properties, I can easily say that this is the only place that far exceeded our expectations on the VRBO listing. The house was a block off the main street in Lake Placid, which made the entire experience so much more convenient. The house was set up absolutely perfectly - lots of bedrooms and beds, large communal spaces, and a kitchen perfectly equipped for a large group with 2 of every appliance. The host was super friendly, helpful, and responsive. Really can't say enough about how great our experience was here. Looking forward to coming back.

We were 11 people for a family Christmas gathering and everyone loved the house! The kitchen worked great for big meals and the layout was ideal for our big group. We walked to great restaurants, shops, ice skating, and Olympic sites. Tom was great to work with. Can’t wait to come back!!

We had a family vacation with 12 people. The home was perfect, it had more than enough room for us. They supplied all the necessary amenities and more! It was the perfect location, short walking distance to town! We would love to come back, thank you for having us!!!

The location was terrific, one block from Main Street and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. With a playground literally outside the back door, it couldn’t have been better situated for our family. The spaciousness of the house was incredible and responsiveness of the hosts absolutely top-notch!

Loved this house! Big, accommodating and close to town! Can walk everywhere is is awesome. The playground out back was a huge plus too for the kids! 2 ovens and fridge also a huge plus! Was able to make 5 pizzas easily! Host was super communicative and available if needed. Great property overall!

Great home for our party of 8, could have hosted plenty more. Easy walk into town and enjoyed all lake placid has to offer. We skied, skated, snowshoed, and snowmobiled. Great host with good recommendations for dinners and activities.

The property manage was terrific. He responded immediately to all our needs. The house is magnificent with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and two of everything - frig, dishwasher, coffee pots, toasters, washers & dryers. It is just as pictured on the website. Easily walking distance to the Main Street. Definitely recommend the rental. We’ll be back.

The location could not be beat for this property. It is a short walk from Lake Mirror main street. It is a really huge house that can accommodate a fairly large group easily. We stayed with a group of friends and there was no lack of space to spread around and still keep kids out of our hair. There are enough games for kids to keep them occupied even when they are not able to go out due to bad weather.
Host is easy to reach out to and responds promptly. The only thing our group wished was for more comfortable furniture. It was not broken or very old but not very comfortable to spend any amount of extended time on it.

We loved the location of this property and the fact that it could hold our whole family for a get together. Our only major complaint was that the living room furniture wasn’t very comfortable for sitting around and hanging out in.

We had a college reunion party of 14 adults. We used all the bedrooms, but please note that one bedroom (on the 3rd floor) does not have a door as it is more of a wide open area with beds in it. This house is a great location to the village of Lake Placid. Easy to walk to the village and also around Mirror Lake. The kitchen is fully stocked for your convenience-dishes, glasses, utensils, fridge space, pots & pans. We did have an issue with 1 AC unit-the owner was quick to respond but was not able to get it working. We were out during the day, so it did not affect us much. Everyone was comfortable in the beds, all linens, towels, & pillows are provided. Lots of space for lots of people! We rode the gondola to the top of White Face mountain one day and rented a pontoon boat for an afternoon ride around Lake Placid the other day. Beautiful area, so much to do & enjoy.

This house is perfect for large group, especially families with children. Easy walk to downtown area, which is so handy. There is a playground in backyard, which is great for little kids to get out and burn energy. Large grass area to play yard games. Love the house and Thomas was excellent to work with. I highly recommend this house!

Lake Placid Vacation
Our extended family of 14 had a great vacation week in Lake Placid. This property is located on a hill above the village - just a short walk to the shops and a 10 minute walk to the public beach on Mirror Lake. Very convenient, but also quiet. Attended two early evening concerts during the week at the music pavilion on Main St just a five minute walk from the house. The park/playground behind the property was a definite plus with the grandkids. The kitchen/dining area and laundry are especially well equipped to serve large groups. And there is lots of room to spread out so it doesn't feel crowded - even with busy kids. Overall, it provided for a wonderful week in Lake Placid.

Family wedding
The house is wonderful with plenty of wide-open spaces for family groups to gather and quiet spaces for those who want to read a book or relax. Having two of every appliance make cooking a breeze and allowed for plenty of storage of perishables. I truly can't say enough about this property. Great location to walk to downtown and the kiddie park in the back is great if you have young ones. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home !
We had a lovely stay ! Enjoyed our Memorial Day weekend here with 4 other families.. The property had more than enough beds for our large group. Mirror lake and all shops and restaurants were a 5 minute walk and couldn't have been more convenient I can't recommend this place enough for a quiet getaway. Tom Roth was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and accommodative.

A true find in the Adirondacks
We were a party of 8 in Lake Placid for a wedding. This house was immaculate, fantastically well equipped, and so conveniently located. There was plenty of room for all of us to have plenty of privacy when we chose, but also great spaces for us to be together. Our host, Tom, couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. We highly recommend this house.

Wonderful location!
Everything was great about this property--the home was spacious, ample parking, location just a short walk from many Lake Placid restaurants, shops and museums. We could not have asked for better hosts...when a medical situation arose, Tom & Emily responded quickly to our inquiry, and went far beyond our expectations helping us navigate the situation. Highly recommend this rental!

Location matters
This was a wonderful place. 1 block from town but you felt like you were in a local neighborhood which we enjoyed. Walkable to everything you want to do in the town of Lake Placid. Great starting point to all the hikes, swimming , paddling you would want. Tom was a wonderful host. Responded instantly to any questions although the house is well equipped and we didn’t need much. Lots of room to hang out and enjoy. Will definitely come back.

Wow! This house has it all and then some. Plenty of room, two of everything, incredible decor, plenty of parking, close to everything, comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms….i could go on! An amazing place and the hosts are great! Our stay could not have been better!

Perfect Spot For Our Family Reunion.
Rented here to celebrate Memorial Day in the ADK’s. The house was clean, spacious and right in the heart of Lake Placid. The appliances were new and there were two of everything. Not only did it have the space but it had the amenities for a large group. I highly recommend this house!

Perfect Location
The house is located just a few minutes' walk from the Main Street in Lake Placid and 15 min away from Whiteface Mountain. Families with small children will appreciate having a playground literally in the back yard of the house. There are plenty of rooms for a large family or a group of friends. Some of us had to share a bathroom but this was not a problem. We appreciated dual appliances (fridges, dishwashers, stoves, microwaves, washers and dryers). The house has been completely renovated with lots of reclaimed wood and metal that gives it a modern feel. Tom is a great host, very responsive and accommodating. We hope to be back soon!

Great House, Great Hosts!
We stayed at this Property for a week between Christmas and New Years day. The location of the property is amazing, such a short walk into town, made life so much easier. The house is HUGE, we hada group of 12 and we did not use half the rooms in the house, it was that big. Finally the Hosts Emily and Tom went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. They were prompt to answer any questions we have and provided us some tubes to use when we short. They also sent us a firepit when we merely asked us about having a fire on the property. We are already planning our return trip back.

Beautiful Adirondack Mountain House!
Our group of 10 truly enjoyed this home. Had everything we needed to make our stay incredible. Love the open floor plan on the main level including the gorgeous kitchen, dining area, and fireplace area. Perfect for large groups and a short walk down to Main Street.

The location is the best
We found the location of this property to be great for short walk to town for restaurants, shops and Mirror Lake. Short drive to Olympic attractions and many hiking areas. Plenty of room to spread out for larger groups especially on main floor. The double appliances would probably be a plus for 2 families or groups wanting to store fridge food and cook meals seperately.
