Hosts and house were both great, and instructions/check-in were very easy. House is very close to the beach and restaurants. Would highly recommend for any group looking to stay at Asbury Park.

My friends and I rented this home for ourselves and my adult children for different parts of my wedding weekend. The home was beautiful! Very clean, exceptionally decorated, comfortable and homey feeling. The owners thought of every detail from beautiful bedding to shampoos to condiments in the kitchen! Well appointed home that we all completely loved and would definitely rent again!!! Excellent!

Sean and Brad have created a charming home that’s perfect for a family or group of friends to enjoy an Asbury Park vacation. Spotless and well-equipped, the house has everything you need from trips to the beach to a barbecue on the spacious deck. Asbury Park is loaded with character, history and excellent restaurants and the beach is enormous and beautifully maintained.

Beds were comfortable. We had everything we needed! The home was clean, always had a parking spot on the street in front of house, and clear easy instructions for the rental from the owners. Would stay here again! Thank you!

We loved that this house had chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and towels to bring to the beach. The deck with grill and patio furniture for dining and lounging was amazing, and the second-floor bathroom and kitchenette made it feel private/separate in the morning and at night. The upstairs deck and staircase are pretty rickety, and the bathrooms weren’t totally cleaned on arrival. Otherwise it was a great spot. Easy walk to the beach and to restaurants/shops (we pulled kids in a wagon). Would definitely stay again. :)

Great rental and location!

Had 8 friends stay with me at the house and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep, eat, and hang out on the porch. Close enough to the beach to walk, and plenty of supplies provided. A+ communication with owners also.

Loved this property! Clean, lots of space and in a great neighborhood located a short walk to the beach. We especially enjoyed the beautiful outdoor deck area. Wish we could have stayed longer. If we are lucky enough to travel back to the Asbury Park area I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this property to others! Excellent stay and hosts. Thank you Sean & Brad!!

We rented both the upstairs and downstairs of the big blue house for a family vacation to visit a family member that lives in Asbury Park. This house was perfect. Very comfortable and everything you could need. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to get a hold of. They went above and beyond. Tastefully decorated and the beds were so comfortable. Lots of space and the use of the bikes was great. This is the 5th property we have stayed in over the years in Asbury Park and this was the best.

Sean and Brad were great hosts; very responsive and helpful. We especially enjoyed having the large deck area to have our meals outside and enjoy the nice weather!

This was an excellent property. The only thing it lacked was a bit of kitchen items to cook with, it was clean and comfortable and the owners were very responsive.

The property was as advertised. It is a gorgeous Victorian era home with well appointed apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors. There is a fantastic deck off the backside of the 2nd floor that serves as a perfect location for relaxed beach night dinners and hang outs. Tasteful lights around the deck created a really nice ambience. Brad and Sean were extremely friendly and accommodating, letting us know about local hot spots and permitting us to check out late on our final day to fit our unique schedule. It is possible to walk to the beach as it is straight down 4th Avenue but there was plenty of parking available further down the road and closer to the beach without paying the parking fees. Paid parking at the beach is always an option. There are also bikes available for use in the garage for easy transportation as well. I would highly recommend these owners and this house to anyone.

We had a lovely time in Sean Hingston and Brad Hurtado's home. It was spacious and very well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked, including all the necessary small appliances and good pots. We especially loved the large and beautiful deck. We grilled out there several times during our stay and relaxed after the beach. Of course, Asbury Park does offer plenty of great restaurants for those who do not wish to cook. We would definitely recommend this lovely home.

From our arrival to our departure, everything was well organised, clean and easy to live with. The photographs of the property are 100% reliable: this is a really attractive, large house that easily absorbed seven adults and gave us all space and privacy and yet also provided great spaces for us all to be together to socialise, relax or just wait for stragglers to get ready! In this respect, it was just what I had wanted. The outside deck was a hit with all of us any time of day or night and we could all be together in the evening in the sitting room to play board or electronic games or just eat ice-cream around the kitchen table. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean and well decorated with personal touches throughout. In time, I expect the larger sofa might have to be replaced as it was quite worn. We just put a (provided) blanket on top of the bare bits & learnt to avoid the metal bars underneath the padding. The only other thing I would have liked is a full length mirror ...just to check on appearance before heading out on the town / to the beach! We met our hosts briefly and they were friendly, polite and helpful. It was good to know where we could find them, if we had a problem...but we didn't need to. It was just really easy to be there. Exploring the town was easy and we found great eateries; we also shopped nearby and used the grill one evening. One highlight was going to The Stone Pony for gig: a must in Asbury Park! We found a quieter part of the beach to go to rather than the area near 4th Avenue; though we did enjoy the live music there on Friday night, we preferred the beach nearer the old casino & carousel. Having beach towels provided was terrific: big, soft & easily recognisable on the beach and we certainly used the umbrella, too. Sean & Brad had thoughtfully provided a chill box on wheels, as well. Take your own chill blocks if you plan to use this. Parking was always easy (and free) outside the house; we downloaded the parking app onto our phones for parking at the beach/in town. We thought it was more like a 10 minute bike ride to the beach rather than a 10 minute walk but in the end we didn't use the bikes as although were in great condition, they were too big for most of us. We all used the clean kitchen for various meals, snacks or drinks and could always find whatever we needed...it was well stocked with attractive crockery, silverware etc...plenty of serving dishes & plates, too. We would recommend this house!

We had a wonderful stay in the Big Blue House this past July! We were two families -- 3 adults, plus five children ranging in ages from 6 to 16. The house suited our needs beautifully. It is nicely furnished, the beds were very comfortable (except for the sofa bed, which really only works well for one older child), the bathrooms are nice and roomy, and the house had everything we needed to make for a great beach vacation. The owners have made sure it is well stocked with towels, dishes, games, beach chairs, etc. -- all the things you might want for a family beach vacation. There is a trampoline, which the kids LOVED. Having use of the bikes was also a plus. The main deck is awesome -- a perfect place to eat dinner and hang out with the family after a day at the beach. The location is good -- definitely walkable to the beach and boardwalk (about a 15 minute walk), but we did tend to drive or drop off part of the group when we were bringing all our beach gear/chairs. And Asbury Park is a terrific beach -- great waves, family atmosphere, and a boardwalk with many food options. Finally, when a couple of minor issues came up, the owners were very responsive and easy to deal with. We would definitely book this house again!

I booked the big blue house for a family get together in July. There were 10 of us in all (6 adults and 4 kids) coming from various points on the East Coast so we were looking for a place that could accommodate a small crowd. We all felt that this place worked very well for our too short vacation. As the description says it is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and it is a 10 minute walk down to the beach, a bit longer for us since we were walking with two 5 year olds, you may choose to drive down to save yourself the hassle of lugging beach equipment - that works great except on summer weekends when parking in Asbury Park is almost impossible to find. We didn't use the bikes that are available but they seem like they would be a great way to get around town. The unit doesn't have central air but it does have lots of window AC units which work well for keeping it cool in summer. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed but we felt that the best feature was the spacious second floor deck which rapidly became our favorite place for hanging out and hosting our mandatory family happy hour - if you have a good book you could be perfectly happy spending the day on the deck without going to the beach. The house is close enough that you can walk into Asbury Park to avail yourself of the rapidly increasing collection of stores and restaurants. We also enjoyed the Buskerdoo coffee house (excellent coffee and pastries) and the Cuban Cafe which serves copious portions of tasty food at a reasonable price. Both of these are within a 2 block radius of the house. All in all we had a great time at the big blue house and would definitely consider using it again.
