Über diese hausUnterkunft
Water front property with spectacular views.

This is a cute older farmhouse. It was very comfortable, clean and well suited for 2 couples. The owner was friendly and accomodating. The location was perfect for our event, with a great view of Mystery Bay. The wifi worked great. The only problem we had, was not enough grounded (3-prong) electrical outlets in the house, they were mostly the old style outlets (2-prong). They work fine for most things, but we were trying to find some place to plug in a crockpot, while still leaving the coffee maker plugged in. We plugged it in on the floor in the living room and it worked out fine. Overall, we had a very nice stay and would stay there again!

We recently traveled to Marrowstone Island for our niece's wedding. We spent three nights at the cottage and enjoyed it very much. The house overlooks the bay and we saw a variety of wildlife from the sunporch. The home was clean and had everything we needed. It is a short drive to Port Townsend and an even shorter drive to the Finn River Cidery. There is also a nice little mercantile within easy walking distance of the cottage. I would definitely stay there again if we are back in the area!

This was a wonderful place to stay during our trip from the East coast to the Northwest. All our family members commented on how much we liked the home and all its coziness.

Everyone had a great time at the wonderfully located home. What’s not to like.

This property is just as advertised. Nothing in the house was worn out or broken. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with well used, but high quality dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. The living room and enclosed porch are simple and plain, but really comfortable and enjoyable because of that. The view from the porch is spectacular. The location on Mystery Bay is really beautiful. We think we'd like to go back.

We found this farmhouse to be an exceptional place to stay to get away from it all. Very clean with all the things you might need. Private, with a beautiful yard that's lovely to wander through. Beds were very comfortable. Views are stunning with lovely sunsets and lots of birds. Nordland General Store is right next door with a great selection of local food, wine and gifts. Excellent communication with the owners who are there to answer questions, or help with anything you might need. Overall, it was an wonderful stay and I hope to book the farmhouse again in the near future!

Reminded me of my sweet grandma's house. We only stayed one night. We hated to leave. We could have stayed a week, or all summer.

The farmhouse was a perfect getaway from over busy lives. The home had every amenity you could ask for. Every spot we visited was a quick trip away. Deb was considerate to any needs and even check on us (via messages). We appreciate her kindness and the peacefulness of the farm house.

Great restored, well stocked comfortable farm house with magnificent water view. Deborah thought of everything and communicated well, no matter how small the request. Easy check in check out. Grest info card’s through out house. Within 5 min drive great vineyard with live music on Saturday evenings. Parks close. No need to drive into Port Townsend for some great eating spots. Would highly recommend

This was a great old house on a wonderful harbor, lots of history, plenty of nature, beautiful place on a beautiful island. The house was well stocked and a nostalgic trip back to a time that was slower and more peaceful.

Very well supplied home, responsive and thoughtful host, and tremendous views! We loved the sunsets on the water and the peaceful location. Our young kids enjoyed the goats next door, the scavenger hunt, and a whole basket of toys to play with. A really lovely experience!

Cozy property with plenty of space for you and your guests. It was a quiet, beautiful spot to spend the weekend and easy driving distance to Port Townsend and numerous state and county parks.

This is an old farmhouse with lots of charm. Deb & Dave make sure you are comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen and Wi-Fi setup and cell phone charging cords. The house is clean with plenty of fresh linens and towels. Our group had a great time. The front of the house showed waterfront views from every window and the backyard was lovely in the evening to eat, drink and be merry. My only suggestion is to have a more secure back door and lock; otherwise, it was lovely.

We enjoyed our stay at the farm house for three nights. The beds are good, it’s very quiet, and the view is amazing. We spent time in Port Townsend and on Whidbey Island. I wish we could’ve kayaked because the water looked so peaceful, but we did walk around in Mystery, Bay State Park. We also toured the Mystery Bay farm with the goats and their goat cheese making business. It is just up the road. Highly recommend the farm tour! Beautiful island and cozy property! We will come again.

The farmhouse is quaint, with appropriate decor. Pantry, children’s play area and library are fabulously stocked. We made pancakes mac’n’cheese and terrific coffee, all from the supplies. We only had to adapt to 1 and 1/4 baths, not the 2 that we expected. View is gorgeous. Host responded quickly to every request,

Wow! We had a wonderful experience at this property! All the comforts of home. The host took extra care to make sure the guests felt welcome and at home. This sun porch was delightful for afternoon cocktail hour. Our daughter (19yr) very much enjoyed the treasure hunt. Never too old for fun and games. Thank you again. ❤️

We enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfortable house. Old-fashioned property, but in a good way! It was so relaxing to sit in the yard and have a glass of wine while enjoying the view. The kitchen is very well stocked and the beds comfortable! Close to Fort Flagler and Chimacum.

We had a lovely stay at this location! The house is comfortable and well stocked. Plenty of kitchen items for cooking. The host was wonderful, responsive, helpful and accommodating. There’s a nice, large yard as well for warm weather enjoyment. Even had a good supply of toys for our little grandson. We totally enjoyed and recommend this place! Would return again!

We stayed at the Mystery Bay Farmhouse for four nights. The weather was pretty stormy during our stay, but that didn't bother us. The view of Mystery Bay is amazing. We would watch a seal or an otter make a morning commute out of the bay and watch it's return in the evening. The beaches at the parks on the island and around Port Townsend are great for looking at sea creatures.
The toys provided were great. Our kids loved playing with the toys and playing board games.
The house is well-stocked. We forgot several food/kitchen items at home that were helpfully provided at the house.
The house is warm and cozy. We would definitely stay again!

Deb, the property was perfect, great morning coffee view, and a nice place inside. Liked that you had a radio for music, the night lights were a nice touch (didn't have to leave lights on to find your way around at night). Didn't have much time outside but I did see that it was set up nicely.
Thanks
Tom

So cute. Gardens well maintained. Deer wondered through. 2 bedrooms, but extra rooms make it seem bigger.

I surprised my husband with a 3-night getaway at The Farmhouse at Mystery Bay. I had been here before with my sister and thought he would like it. He did!
The weather cooperated so we enjoyed relaxing, reading, and watching the horses & birds in the yard. We also visited Fort Flagler and learned its history.
The sunporch has great water views. It was a favorite room. The
house was very clean, the kitchen has everything you need, and the beds were comfy. Deb is an outstanding host. She checked in with us during our stay and made us feel welcome. She also told us where we could pick blackberries, so I made a blackberry cobbler.
We had a very enjoyable stay and will return. We highly recommend The Farmhouse!!

It was lovely. Bed very comfy, spotless, everything we needed was supplied. It's an old farmhouse - with modern amenities. Deb was most accommodating, even invited us to stroll up the lane and pick blackberries. Yum!

Sweet Little Cottage
We loved our stay in the farmhouse on Mystery Bay. My husband enjoyed the antique tools and we all enjoyed the view and sunsets. The beds were comfy and my teen daughter liked that her twin bed room was across the entryway, giving her more privacy.
There is a road between you and the water, but the traffic is minimal. We saw a mama raccoon with her babies and also an otter foraging at low tide. There are tables in the kitchen, dining room, and porch so lots of room to spread out.
Several beaches are a short drive away and Port Townsend just 15 minutes or so down the road. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and spices. There was a lovely yard and outdoor fire pit as well. We can't wait to return.

Fun Getaway
Three college friends enjoying time together and exploring the area. Our first time to Marrowstone Island, we enjoyed a nice hike on the Bluff Trail at Fort Flagler. We spent time in Sequim, Port Gamble, Port Ludlow, and Port Townsend. We especially enjoyed the view from the property across the bay, and spending mornings and evenings at the house. Playing games on the screen porch as we watched the sunset. The house was charming and met our needs. It felt like we were at our grandmas’ houses!

Beautiful views, old charm
The property has stunning views of Mystery Bay and is nestled on land adjacent to a goat farm. You are invited to feed the goats picked grass if you want to see them up close. Nice lawn and beautiful enclosed porch with views of the bay. The owner has helpful signs throughout the property and even has a treasure hunt that ends with a prize! We loved it and would definitely stay again.

Marrowstone Farmhouse
Great place to stay, would defiantly stay here again and recommend others to stay here. Exactly like the description and pictures. Deb (hostess) is great and easy to contact and communicate with if there are any concerns. Clean, well stocked, quiet location, and close to stores. Beds are comfortable, plenty of seating, lots of activities/games for children. Walk across the street for the beach when the tide is low.

This place is magical! Beautiful historic house overlooking the water. The house was warm and cozy and stocked with absolutely everything. The owners are kind and very communicative. You are also so close to some beautiful state parks as well as a few great restaurants. We are at the historic Ajax Cafe in nearby Port Hadlock, which is also on the water.

Charming Farmhouse
This is a charming little farmhouse. It was very clean. It was decorated so thoughtfully with items you would see in an old farmhouse. The view is beautiful. We played cards in the sunroom. We are ready to book it again.

Getaway for sisters
My sister and I enjoyed our getaway at the farmhouse even though the weather didn't cooperate. The location is quiet and peaceful with beautiful water views. The home is cozy, the kitchen is well stocked, and the beds are very comfortable. We appreciated the cleanliness throughout the house. Being here brought back many memories from our childhood on a farm in southwest Washington state.
Deb is a thoughtful host. She checked in with us. and also gave us our space. The communities of Port Hadlock, Chimacum, and Port Townsend are close by for shopping and exploring. We enjoyed our time on Marrowstone Island and the surrounding area. We plan to return and recommend this VRBO home.

An Island Retreat
The farmhouse is lovely - one goes back in time walking into this century-old dwelling, yet with modern day conveniences of TV and internet. Wonderful views of Mystery Bay and surrounding pastures, with plenty of outdoor activities just down the road at Fort Flagler State Park. Our host gave us our privacy and the freedom to wander the property, even to pick fast-ripening blackberries. This is the perfect retreat for one person or a small family.
