Lockbox was straight-forward, access to the beach across the street was wonderful and the view of the waves out the front windows was perfect. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, a garage, big TV, puzzles, books, all helped make our stay more enjoyable. Other rentals on the block allowed our family to rent 2 spaces and gather for meals and trips to Devil's churn, Cape Perpetua, Newport, Yaquina Head tidepools, Seal Rock and local restaurants like LunaSea and Pacific Sourdough Bakery. Thanks for an easy stay!

The very best characteristic of this rental was its proximity to beach access at marker 67. We really enjoyed the frequent walks on the beach without having to drive. On the con side, there were 4 controllers for the TV and related video equipment and no instructions. We never got the TV to work, although that's not the primary reason we came to the beach. Also, the gas fireplace didn't work. Again, not a biggie but maintenance and details were lacking.

The house is an older one. There is mold in the bathroom. I know, it is difficult, to keep mold out of a bathroom without a window. The beds are comfy, kitchen has all you need. Beachaccess is just across the street. The built-in-microwave broke on saturday evening. I called the number of the responsible person for that house. And Peter helped us out with an seperate microwave. It is very easy to talk to him. Thank you Peter and team.

The Moffett house was a great place to stay for the week. We were very thankful for the dishwasher, washer and dryer. We even borrowed the crab trap that is in the garage. It functioned perfectly as a home away from home. :)

This house is in a wonderful quiet neighborhood directly across the street from an amazing beach where you can walk for miles in either direction. We loved being able to park our car in the garage. The house was perfectly clean and comfortable. We appreciated the use of the washer/dryer. There were plenty of linens and dishware. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed long walks along the seemingly infinite beaches, just across the road and between two houses.We saw a pod of gray whales cruising south. WiFi and cell phone coverage was OK. The dishwasher worked well but was noisy. The washer and dryer were in the garage and worked fine. There was lots of cutlery, pots and pans, dishes etc, much more than we'd ever use.Overall a quiet and restful stay.

We love that Waldport is a small community with TONS of beautiful beach spots to visit. The town has everything you could need and is only 5 minutes to drive. The Moffett house is an older house but it is so cozy and comfortable, and has GREAT beach access right across the street. We are a family of 4 with 3 big doggos and we never feel like we are cramped or lack anything in this home. Highly, highly recommend!

It did smell a little musty and the beds were too hard so we all didn't get much sleep. But overall, this beach house was great and we created everlasting memories all weekend. Not only is this home less than a five-minute walk from the Pacific Ocean, but its location south of Newport prompted our visit to Yachats, a charming coastal town none of us had been to before. Moffatt House was very well equipped and clean. It offered a perfect base for a relaxing getaway.

The house is well-maintained and very comfy, nicely decorated with games and books for rainy days. We had a little problem finding the third bedroom as it is only accessed through the garage and only has built in bunk beds and little space and no other furniture. It's very close to the path to the beach (less than 5 minutes walk).

The house is across the street from the beach. You can sit on the deck and hear the ocean roar. The house is very comfortable and fully equipped. And the host treated us well. I would go back there

Found everything we needed for home cooking , lovely towels, quiet neighborhood, only complaint was only one beach chair that could be carried down to the beach.
