Black Bear Cozy Cabin ist ein 2 Schlafzimmer 1 Bad Rancher 1/2 Block von Lake Harmony. Stellen Sie sich vor, Sie genießen Ihren Morgenkaffee in dieser ruhigen Straße, während Sie die Aussicht auf den See von der großen Terrasse genießen. From pre-booking to checkout the communication with Lisa was great. The property was just as described and pictured. It was the perfect location just a short walk to the lake, and just a short distance to multiple restaurants and local attractions. Also for those who love nature, this was a peaceful location and there were many deer making their way past the house on the street. Overall it was a perfect long weekend getaway!

Nice location, small chalet, cabin. Has an 80s feel (not a modern style). Little bit old fashioned, but really cozy.
Extra: all the wildlife around the house. Deer, bear, chipmunks, turkeys, squirrels.

Lisa’s place was exactly what we needed. Home was spotless when we arrived. Easy check in was a plus. It was great to be able to bring our dog with us. Would absolutely recommend her home to a small family that wants to be right near Big boulder and close to Jack Frost. Look for to staying here again.

We loved our stay in the cozy cabin! The deer were so sweet and the home had everything we needed. Lisa supplied lots of nice towels, and the front deck is great for relaxing! It’s a lovely place to stay!

The cabin was super clean and adorable in a bear motif. We didn’t see any bear but saw lots of friendly deer. Thanks for providing deer corn for feeding the gang. Bed and furniture were comfortable. Deck was amazing and peaceful. Backyard would be nice in cooler weather. Host was very responsive although we ha zero problems with anything. We would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a nice time in Lake Harmony. The house and location were great. The only slight disappointment were all of the motor boats and jet skis in Lake Harmony on Saturday when we went kayaking. But, otherwise great stay!

Very clean, enough space and dishes/silverware for us. Lots of deer on property in the morning and evenings, chipmunks galore. Only thing missing was the double kayak that was in the listing.

This is our second time staying at Cozy Bear cabin, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. It's just a block up from public access to Lake Harmony, and a 5 min drive to Big Boulder where we enjoyed snowboarding for a couple of days. It's a small cabin, but very comfortable for our family of 4 and our dog (very nice it is dog friendly). Lisa, the owner, is very responsive and helpful, and the property is well maintained and clean . The kids really enjoyed seeing the deer that would visit the backyard every morning. Will definitely be back again.

My husband and I went to Lake Harmony for our anniversary, and brought our golden retriever with us. Check in was a breeze and the home was adorable and clean. Loved the cabin- great location right near the lake and close to the restaurants. Also a short drive to many hiking areas!

We had a great time! The cabin & property are small, but very inviting. The house is located close to the lake & a number of nearby restaurants. We loved that the deer visited us each morning. The owner left us with a pail of corn to feed them. She also left us a bottle of wine & a s’mores kit which was a very nice gesture. Overall, we enjoyed kayaking, swimming in the lake, hiking, & relaxing by the fire pit. There are many things to do in the area, from dining out to concerts to festivals to wineries. We found a great roadside farmstand for fresh produce & homemade goodies & a craft shop with beautiful handmade items. We look forward to returning for our next visit.

Cozy Cabin
We enjoyed our visit to Lake Harmony. The cabin was clean and had sheets, bedding and towels available.
The use of kayaks and easy access to the dock was perfect for us.
We also loved feeding the deer while hanging out at the fire. We saw a bear too.
Would stay again. Great for our family of 4 plus our dog.

Great Stay
My family (including our dogs!) had the best weekend in the house. It was exactly as described and fit our needs perfectly. We wanted to get away and unplug and were able to do that easily. The distance to the lake was perfect and the surrounding area was peaceful and serene. We absolutely recommend this house.

I Hope I Get To See Deer
This was the first trip my boyfriend and I went on together. Our goal was to unplug, wind down, disconnect from our day to day, and spend time together. It was just us, and our 2 dogs.
The cabin was the perfect size for our little crew.
We did some sight seeing during our stay, but stayed close to the cabin, for the most part. The neighborhood is very quiet, and the lake can be seen from the front porch, but a quick 5 min walk will put you right in front of Lake Harmony.
We brought all we needed to cook during our stay, or so we thought. Each time we realized we could use a particular utensil, or a dash of a specific seasoning, it was available to us! We were extremely impressed with how well stocked the cabin was, and the anticipation of our host, to know what her guest(s) may need during their stay.
We really enjoyed the firepit and fireplace, both were very cozy and a perfect way to unwind after a full day.
Prior to the trip, I repeatedly said that I hoped we'd see deer, and boy did we! Our mornings on the back porch were magical. We were surrounded by deer! I believe we counted up to 15 at one point. The host provides a can full of corn, so you can feed the deer- and they sure do expect it! It was really wonderful, and just another layer of relaxation, on an already relaxing getaway.
We will be back.
The only negative comment comes from finding cigarette butts in a few ashtrays when we first arrived. We assume the housekeeper is a non smoker and most likely overlooked the ashtrays, after leaving the rest of the cabin absolutely spotless.

Had a great time
Family and I had a wonderful weekend at the Cozy Cabin. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen well stocked, and a great location close to lake and lakeside restaurants. Lisa was very responsive and helpful. We definitely recommend it, and we look forward to coming back.

Great getaway!!
Perfect, super clean cabin for our stay with our 2 dogs Short walk to the lake/beach. Tubes were so nice to relax in. Deer everywhere. Nice front and back deck to enjoy. I can’t say enough!!!

Family of 5
The cabin was perfect for 5 of us ( 3 adults 2 kids). We enjoyed Lake Harmony beach, s’more ‘s on the fire pit, and morning coffee on the deck. Donna the property mgr. was very nice and helpful. Lisa the owner was a pleasure to deal with. We hope to return next year.

Lovely Cozy Cabin
Lisa was a lovely host and communicated well. Nice touch with a welcome gift of a bottle of wine and S’mores. Check in was easy. Plenty of parking right in front of cabin.
The cabin was spotless and fully stocked with everything that you could possibly need from shampoo, dishwasher soap to salt and pepper and even aluminum foil!
The beds and pillows were comfortable and the sheets and towels fresh and clean.
Nice front deck to sit on that we all enjoyed including our small yorkie; there is also a back patio/deck with fire pit, but we used the front deck.
Kayaks and inflatables to use if you choose to, just remember that when you are on the lake stay within the white buoys that are about 30ft from the shore line. There were a lot of jet ski’s/wet bikes and speed boats on the lake that cause a lot of waves out past the bouys that could easily tip over a kayak.
Locally Nick’s has a great view of the lake and lovely big outside patio, however it is very busy and staff seemed rushed and not very friendly; food was OK.
On the other hand Shenanigans was our preference, the staff were friendly and relaxed and generally a much nicer atmosphere than Nicks. They do have an outside deck but it is lacking the view of the lake.
We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this cabin and if we were back in the area would not hesitate to book again.

The cabin has modern updates but keeps some of the essential parts of that mid-century cabin charm.The host provided us with some goodies (smores kit..nice touch) and a great bottle of wine. Our dog loved the cabin, plus the brave chipmunks and curious deer. This place really is a gem and has everything you need in an almost lakeside cabin.

Great cabin getaway near the lake
Perfect cabin for family. The host made it extra special by leaving little goodies for the kids, and adults. Quiet neighborhood a 2 minute walk to the little beach and dock.

Wonderful weekend getaway
We had a great time at the black bear cozy cabin. We came for the nascar race & the track was only 10 minutes away. The house was well stocked with essentials, very clean and adorable cabin decor. Lisa was quick to reply with any communication and even left us a bottle of wine & s'mores. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We will definitely be back next year!

Coziest Cabin
What a great property!! The cabin was fully equipped and included many special touches. The location was fantastic and proximity to various activities was wonderful. Hosts were communicative and check in was a breeze. Cannot recommend this place enough and hope to return again next year.
