My family and I visited El Rancho Regenia over Texas spring break, and we had the best stay! The house itself was exceptional-- it was very clean, well stocked with items (kitchen, bathrooms), comfortable beds/pillows, baby items (PNP, highchair, etc), quiet, and inviting. The grounds are so unique! Situated directly on Canyon Lake, the breeze was constant, cool, and well received! My boys (6&4) had blast catching brim in the well-stocked, clean, pond as well as searching for turtles. Jill left us carrots to feed the donkeys as well as items for s'mores-- which we all loved! The location was excellent for day trips out into the hill country. We explored Canyon City/the trails around the dam, and South Trail on the Guadalupe. We visited Gruene and Wimberly, as well as Natural Bridge Cavern. Highly recommend visiting the caves! We will be back in the future and recommend for families of all ages! Thanks, Jill!

We had a lovely time at Rancho Regenia. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. Everything was so clean and organized. The kitchen had every tool and appliance we could possibly need, and there was plenty of fun for everyone in our group… volleyball, fishing, the playset, the animals. Jill is a very caring and responsive host. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We definitely would go back!

This is an amazing home that is exactly as advertised. We love it so much this was a return visit for our family. We had a much needed extended Memorial Day vacation for our busy family of six.

This property is beautiful and you’d be hard pressed to find one better! We had 8 people in our group—4 adults and 4 kids. There’s plenty to do for everyone: kayaking at the lake, fishing the pond, feeding the goats, playing at the playground, playing basketball, watching the deer, cooking on the smoker in the outdoor kitchen, having some drinks and making s’mores around the fire pit and enjoying the lake view while eating dinner on the deck. The host was great and stayed in touch to make sure we were taken care of. Highly recommended!

Lovely home with farm animals on the grounds and access to Canyon Lake. We had a wonderful family reunion. The stairs to the lower level were a little dangerous for grandparents with joint issues, so they stayed on the main level (kids 3+ did not have problems with stairs). Wonderful porch with great views of the sunset and wild deer.

We had a great time here, it is nice to have some elbow room on a water front property.

While part of me doesn't want the word to get out...I'd like to keep this place all to myself...I had to review this amazing property! Very few places offer such an amazing experience. The 25 acres includes a fishing pond, kids play area, basketball hoop, swimming area, animals to feed and pet and so many deer! We had 5 adults and 5 kids stay for four nights at El Rancho Reginia. The adults loved hanging out on the upper deck on the porch swing watching the wildlife and enjoying coffee or cocktails. The kids played...well...all over. Ranging in ages from 4-9, I felt very safe letting them run and roam on this private property. They walked down to feed the animals and play on the play equipment and had space to just be kids. Translation - not one of them asked for electronics for four days. Win! While the property is one of a kind, the service is incredible. I very much appreciate attention to detail and Jill clearly makes this her mission. From the moment I walked in and saw the fresh flowers in the kitchen and heard music playing softly throughout the house...I knew I made the right choice. (Also...the house smelled amazing...just a side note!) Everything is impeccably clean, sheets and beds were amazing and the house has several living areas that allowed for families to spread out. I can't say enough good things about this property and the owner. Thank you Jill for opening your home and property to us and to other families. This is an experience we would not have had otherwise and we can't thank you enough. Lindsay

We had two families (total of 8) stay here. The house, property, and vrbo host were top notch. The small pond was heavily stocked with fish so my kids had a blast. Great views outdoors with the lake, tons of deer, and farm animals. The VRBO host, Jill, went above and beyond for us. Great memories and experience!

House, property, location, on premise activities, house amenities, owner hospitality…all top notch. We had a great time at this property while on spring break. My Family and I stayed at this Home for Christmas. It was such a beautiful Home and very spacious. We never felt like we were on top of each other. We love the Christmas lights especially the Windmill lit up as a Christmas Tree and She was gracious enough to set up a Christmas Tree inside upon request as we had some gifts for Christmas Morning. We enjoyed all the activities including Fishing and feeding the Animals. The Kids loved the play ground and all the space to run around and play. It was nice to have something for them to do outside away from screens. We loved it and would love to come back soon. We definitely recommend this Property.

This is one of the best properties we have stayed at! Well there my son caught a 42 pound catfish. We will be returning!

The property was fabulous. Clean and every amenity you could think of was addressed perfectly. The property had everything to keep young children entertained from feeding goats to fishing in the pond, going to the lake and much more. The view from the deck is incredible. The owner was delightful and made it so welcoming upon on arrival. Definitely a treasure and will be back again.

This is an amazing property! Perfect for a family gathering. The adults enjoyed the incredible views and outdoor sitting areas and the kids loved feeding the goats and fishing in the stock pond. Everything was perfect!!

El Rancho was truly one of the best places we have ever stayed in. It is a huge and beautiful house located on a beautiful property with one of the best lake views I have ever seen. Sitting on the porch swing or eating in the family size table on the deck every day refilled our minds and spirits. The kids loved running around the area, feeding the goats and donkeys, watching the geese and chickens, and swimming in the lake. I had thought we would have a good time but we ended up with one of the best travel experiences of our lives. Jill was a truly gracious and generous host, always available to answer any question, and there to lend a helping hand with anything we needed. We were so glad to meet her. The outside kitchen is Incredible! This spot allowed my family to have peaceful moments along with fun adventures, truly one of the best vacations we have ever taken. We will certainly be back.

My husband and I and our 2 teenagers who each brought a friend (so total of 6) had a wonderful time at this vacation home and property. The views were beautiful. The home also has close proximity to a large grocery store (Brookshire Brothers) and the Canyon Lake Marina. It was also an easy and scenic drive to Wimberley and New Braunfels for restaurants, tubing and shopping. Jill was a very attentive hostess. Thank you again for a lovely time!

We stayed for a long weekend with family ages 1-73 and everyone had a wonderful time. Jill was an exceptional host. The property was way better than the pictures. There was so many activities to do right on the property. Only thing we didn’t like was leaving.

This is the 2nd time we stayed here and it does not disappoint. Our family loves this home and the property on the lake. Jill is a great host always being available. She even brought us a delicious cake. Highly recommend staying here - very clean and homey.

The propery was absolutely gorgeous. We were able to sit right by the lake and relax. We would drive our car right down to the edge of the property, then a short walk away is the waters edge. The house was beautiful and the owners did a great job adding special touches to make it feel extra special. The house was very well cleaned and the owner was very nice. We explored around the property and our little one had a great time petting the animals. We loved it here!

Fabulous house and property! Jill, the owner, is a great communicator and gracious hostess. No attention to detail was lacking. This beautiful home and property was BY FAR THE CLEANEST VRBO rental we have ever stayed in. We were thoughtfully gifted a delicious snack tray and nice bottle of wine upon arrival. Views of lake and lake access to property were so beautiful and there was plenty of space to park the large boat and our vehicles. Our older grandkids loved fishing in the pond and younger ones enjoyed feeding carrots provided for us to the donkeys and goats . We loved watching lots of deer coming to the feeder each evening while enjoying a beverage on the cool and well appointed upper deck. It was a perfect place for our family mini vacation and we sure wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you Jill for sharing your amazing piece of paradise !! 😍💗

We enjoyed our stay at El Rancho Regenia. The home has a country charm feel with traditional and antique furnishings. The views are spectacular. Seeing the deer’s walking around every day had me in ahhhh. The peace and serenity is priceless. The ranch is well kept, we didn’t want to leave. Jill is a fantastic host. She pays attention to details. Everything we needed was readily available. She included items that are not typically in most home-away-from-home properties. I can see myself visiting over and over again.

We had a perfect extended weekend to celebrate our son’s 16th birthday. This is a beautiful property, just as described and pictured.
