This house was a great alternative to staying in a hotel. The living room and kitchen areas were very comfortable and had everything we needed for a week’s stay. The bedrooms are small, but if you just need a comfortable place to lay your head at night, it’s great. Great location with easy access to the nearby village. We would stay here again!

Great stay, everything is convenient, Communication with Jude was very efficient. Just one thing , don’t use the wall power outlet at the bigger bedroom to vacuum and use the AC at the same time, it might trigger the circuit break.

Disappointed for the money it was dirty and well used. Poor air circulation, lacking window screens, holes in screens, back patio furniture beat up… kitchen floor needs better Matt’s to keep the home clean rocks from driveway come in every time!

Great location for access to the beach and to restaurants, all within walking distance even with young kids. House was perfect, even bigger then we were expecting and very clean. Communication with owner/manager wasn't even really needed but when I had a question was available to answer right away. Thank you again, definitely would stay here again if available!

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient.

The apartment was wonderful, very clean, close to everything. The only drawback was the fact that it was not handicapped accessible as proclaimed in the amenities. Yes it was on one level but a tight squeeze. Also the bathroom was not accessible as was the deck. There was a step, if you were not mobile, that become a problem. My son in law fashioned a step from wood he bought at Home Depot. The beach also wasn't handicapped accessible. That should have been noted. My family did have a good time, as they are all mobile. Every thing was close by and if one was mobile easy walking distance.

The property was spotless and had a completely functional kitchen and laundry. A residents only tidal beach is a minute's walk. We spent every single day at the beach. We didn't really need to check in with Jude as she had given very clear instructions.

Great location within easy walking distance of downtown Onset. My parents and sister stayed here while we rented the upstairs unit. The unit was clean and comfortable. There's a roomy kitchen, good sized living room, and a great deck with a big table and a grill. The only complaint was that one of the bedrooms has a skylight that doesn't have a shade, so if you're a light-sensitive sleeper, bring a sleep mask.

House was very nice and location was great as it was close to many activities without the traffic and business of the Cape. Our kids enjoyed searching for crabs and shells on the private beach. Jude was very attentive and easy to communicate with.

Very clean, cute property. Lovely view of bay. A little crowded for three adults, as the bedrooms are quite tiny with just one teeny tiny closet. The owner was a pleasure to work with.

All doors and windows were open and I do not know if that is considered an acceptable cleaning practice during the pandemic. While everything looked very clean, the couch smelled of dog. We don’t have pets and pick up quickly on any pet odor. Something in skylight bedroom smelled unwashed.. The bed linens were clean and I never discovered the source of the odor. Whoever sleeps in the sky light room will need an eye mask. Location was wonderful, only one house from a private beach and a beautiful harbor. We were in 7A (ground level) and the tenants in 7B were above our living area not our bedrooms so noise was not an issue. 7A does not have much of a view but the beach is so close that it was not a problem. The mattress in the far bedroom needs replacement.

We had a lovely stay in Onset. The property was very clean and well-kept and had everything we needed for a nice beach vacation. The private beach was a very short walk away and we also enjoyed visiting other area beaches in Wareham and Sandwich as well. We also biked into town to visit one of the local ice cream shops, which my 5-year old really enjoyed. Jude was very communicative and accommodating, both leading up to and during our stay. I'd highly recommend this property to others looking for a relaxing getaway to the Cape!

We had a fantastic stay. The unit is located a short walk to two beautiful public beaches and one private beach. We were very comfortable and the unit had everything we needed. One cautionary note: One of the bedrooms has a skylight and so the room became bright early in the morning. We easily solved this with an eyemask.

Was a great location while visiting my son at MMA. Couple casual restaurants and ice cream to walk to.

Accommodations exceeded our expectations. Beautiful and well kept house with a great view. Already referred to couple of our friends.

Nice place in a nice location

We loved the house and the location! 2 beaches,restaurants, and an ice cream shop are within walking distance and the house is charming and comfortable.

We had an amazing time. Communication with Jude was great. We already miss the place. We would rent there again for sure.

Overall pleasant stay in Onset. Arrived during a heat wave so the one window A/C unit left the downstairs apartment 80-82 degrees the first 2-3 days. Jude could offer no help with that, so I had no choice but to purchase my own box fan just to cool the bedroom area down enough to sleep. Once the weather cooled down to the 80's the apartment was much more comfortable. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 with a "trundle bed" which was just a stained mattress on the floor under the full bed. The furniture in the room had to be completely rearranged in order to fit the mattress next to the bed. I was glad I brought all of my own linens because there were short black hairs all over the sheets and floor of that bedroom so I had to sweep the entire house of hair and sand before moving anything in. I have stayed in beach rentals in NJ my entire life and never had to clean so much hair, sand and crumbs off counters as I did with this property. Now with that said the house is clean. There is no major issues with cleanliness - it just seemed as though the house keeper skipped wiping the kitchen counters down and sweeping before she/he left. The toilets and shower were cleaned well and the apartment was in nice condition. The couch was very comfortable as well and it was nice having access to both cable and Netflix. There was also Wi-Fi that worked well on 4 iPhones. The neighborhood was nicer by the water then it was at the downtown square. I felt safe, it was just more run down and empty then the Onset website led on. The beach was nice. Water clean. Very short walk. The picture of the water with the fire pit is misleading because that is the neighbor in front's yard. There is a nice deck and patio set to sit on out back and my daughter loved the outside flower shower. The grill was of good quality. We spent most of our week traveling to different beaches and different parts of the cape. If you are planning to see the entire cape during your week I would suggest staying on the cape itself a few towns in to cut down on driving during your stay. We were 1.5 hours away from Provincetown so most days we were driving anywhere from 30-90 minutes one way to get somewhere on the cape. Just a tip for someone from out of the area like myself. The house is close to the canal which was beautiful and had a lot of activities in itself and the drive to Boston wasn't bad, about 1.5-2 hours depending, Overall, we enjoyed our stay on the bottom apartment of the carriage house.

The property was precisely as described -- very clean, affordable, near both the beach in Onset and a relatively short drive to other beaches right on the Atlantic along the Cape (would recommend Craigville Beach). A large grocery was a 10 minute drive away that provided everything we needed for eat in meals. Overall this was a perfect spot to provide the best of both worlds that our family sought - quiet hang time in a cottage and quick day trips to Boston, of which we made two. I especially enjoyed sitting out on the deck and having my morning coffee while reading and looking out at the sail boats on the bay. The only minor downside was that the AC didn't always cool the kitchen and bedrooms real well, but the ceiling fans helped in the bedrooms. I'm not sure I would have wanted to pay more, however, for the owners to have to install central a/c... Would definitely stay again. Jim S Zionsville, IN July 2019

We stayed five nights in July to visit our son who is working with the Wareham Gateman Baseball team. Our second son joined us and the three of us had a lovely time. We used the beach chairs and umbrella on the private beach and loved drinking coffee on the outside patio in the mornings! As we are from Florida, we weren’t accustomed to how light it is here at 5:30am, but used the early morning wake up to walk across the bridge to downtown! In the evenings, it was nice to cookout as a family and chat about the day. Thank you, Jude, for providing such a lovely place to stay! And, if you get to come to Onset in the summer, make sure to see some Cape Cos baseball. It’s a blast!

Our stay at the carriage house checked all the boxes for a great vacation. The house and amenities were perfect for our family of 4. Loved the access to the beach, and the main street bridge for a walk and some ice cream :). Yard and deck were great for bbq’ing and dinner outside. Jude was great to deal with all the way from booking to check out. This was a great homebase as we explored Cape Cod for the week - hope to return for a holiday again!

Terrific place on a quiet street! Very clean and beautifully decorated! Jude was very helpful in all correspondence! The cottage is a duplex, and there were no issues at all with the other tenants. I would definitely stay here again!!

A fun beach house apartment with all the conveniences of home! Our granddaughters especially enjoyed our walks over the bridge to Guido's for ice cream! Beautiful views and we were blessed with a full moon!

We had a wonderful stay, all of the amenities you could want or need. The bed was sooo comfortable, we both slept like rocks every night. Jude is very nice and very attentive to your needs. Would highly recommend this property!
