Myrtle Cottage was clean and neat , it provided everything that we needed.Our host and the owner of the cafe next door was attentive and we enjoyed the menu..8/10 many thanks.George and Kath.

We had a wonderful stay for a couple of nights for a wedding close by. Lovely breakfast at the cafe next door. It was probably the cleanest holiday rental I’ve been in- very impressed. Was very comfortable- thanks for having us!

The property was perfect for the stay we had. It was very clean, decor was nice, its location is in the heart of Woolimbi and right next door to a wine bar / restaurant. Jane the manager was amazing, she was really so very nice to us. We shall definately be staying there again.

Myrtle Cottage was very clean and comfortable and is in the centre of small and very picturesque Wollombi. Next door is the Myrtle+Stone cafe with great food and coffee. What more can you ask for?

Lovely little cottage in the centre of Wollombi. Walk to everything. Super clean. Easy check in instructions. Comfy bed. We attended a wedding in the area and this was a perfect place to stay.

Clean, organized, central to everything, was only 6 mins to our wedding venue Mystwood and the cafe delivered our coffees to the door and the real bonus, no specific check in/out time

Overall a lovely place to stay excellent location, bed extremely comfortable, floor in bedroom squeaks when walking on it so disturbs partner when you get up through night easy fix apparently, would stay again

This was above and beyond what we expected, the size of the place was bigger, everything was clean. Being right next door to the Myrtle and Stone was a bonus, everyone was friendly. We will definitely be back and recommend this place to everyone. :)

Property was right in the middle of the Wollombi township and it was clean and comfortable. We were attending a wedding in the area and it was in close proximity to everything. The food at Myrtle Cafe (next door) was good too.

My wife and I were here for a wedding and was so impressed with this location, quality and charm of this adorable cottage. It is in a great location close to everything. No need to drive. Had a great time and would recommend to anyone.

Well located and the accommodation had all that was needed. There are two suggestions I would make... 1/ Acoustic separation between the two properties needs to be improved. 2/ The heating in the main area doesn't work properly and the remote control display cannot be read,

Beautiful little cottage
We just had the loveliest stay in this little cottage in Wollombi. The cottage itself is really spacious for a 1 bedroom, with a large bedroom (and the comfiest bed) and large living area. It was lovely and warm in winter with the reverse cycle heating, and the fully stocked kitchen made cooking easy. The owners also own the cafe next door and we’re so incredibly welcoming, and we loved the feel of the historic town and the pub. I can definitely recommend and can’t wait to return.

Perfect spot for our weekend celebrating a joyous wedding. The little cottage was a perfect size with all the essentials and Jane was very accommodating. We did hear a bit of noise from the joint cottage next door

Loved our stay in Myrtle Cottage
A lovely little cabin with all that you need for a long weekend away. Comfy kind size bed and seperate bedroom. The living space has a fully equiped kitchen, small dining table for 2 and lovely leather lounge for resting, reading and watching TV.
Myrtle Cottage is right next door to Myrtle House cafe, so a take out coffee or eat-in meal is easy. Good food and service too!
Our dog enjoyed the stay too, and was most welcome in the cabin, on the balcony at the cafe, and outdoors at the Wollombi Tavern.

Little House on the Prairie - Absolutely Perfect Weekender in Wollombi
WoW if you are getting away to this beautiful part of the world, I couldn't recommend Myrtle Cottage any better.
Quiet, very comfortable, especially the bed! Yes its a country cottage with separate bedroom, living room with kitchenette and bathroom/laundry that's surprisingly spacious and well equipped including reverse cycle AirCon that fills the whole cottage.
With the Cafe next door and simple stroll to the shops and pub, if you are looking for accommodation in Wollombi and Myrtle cottage is available - TAKE IT!

Charming place to stay & so convenient!
Myrtle Cottage is fabulous! Recently renovated & so charming plus it’s located next door to Myrtle House Cafe so finding great food is no issue! Right in the heart of Wollombi so you can walk to everything . Very quiet & relaxing. Comfortable beds & the cottage is equipped with everything you need. Plus it’s pet friendly which was perfect for us & made it a great weekend. Our two tiny daschunds loved it!

Nice restaurant, and our dog Pesto loved the walk along the riverbank. What a great way to recharge the batteries.

Excellent property, excellent location
Doolin (my dog) and I just spent the weekend at your property. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the walk along the river. Stunning scenery! I was up for a seminar in Cessnock so was very easy to get to. Also loved the fact that there is a great restaurant across the road. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. No fence but you can go out the back door to a garden where the dogs can toilet. Great for couples and worked perfectly for me with my dog.
