We enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our group. It was so nice the kids could run and play outside and the easy access to the beach was great. Puerto Rico is so beautiful! Chris was super easy to work and communicate with. We hope to return soon!

Amazing beach! Private resort, very safe!

My group of 8 people- 2 parents and 6 college aged kids stayed for a week and we had a great time. The house had everything we needed - beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards, tennis rackets - and the location was great. Off the beaten path, quiet, safe and so close to the beach. The house has AC which gave us much needed relief at times. The kitchen was very functional and we enjoyed many meals (and drinks thanks to the blender). I would recommend and I will return!

Overall, a great place to stay. Communication with Chris was a breeze and he was very accommodating given our changing travel schedule. Overall, we are very happy with the stay and our vacation in general. Thanks Chris! -Dan and family

We had a wonderful week in the Punta Del Mar villa. Home as pictured, with a fully equipped kitchen if you eat in as is our preference. Beach equipment was plentiful, chairs, towels, toys, cooler for use. The 3 story home was spacious enough for my family of 5, with 3 grown children to spread out and enjoy our week. The waves in Rincon are for surfing, and not ideal for young children, the community would be great for a family with young kids, as we watched newcomers welcomed into soccer games and bike riding, and the small tidal pool almost direct in front of the villa made a perfect swimming spot. The local families were welcoming and we were encouraged to join their New Years celebration. Lots to do locally in Rincon, especially for young adults, and great local restaurants and grocery shopping with easy directions supplied by Chris. We played tennis daily and enjoyed the wonderful pool. Tennis courts need updating (we heard that is on the agenda), and the villa is showing some signs of age, but was completely safe and functional. We flew directly into Aguadilla rather than San Juan, and the airport was a quick 30mns from the villa. Owner was very gracious about letting us enter early and offered to let us stay a few hours later than check out if we were able. Overall, a wonderful week.

Our family had a wonderful time at this lovely property...comfortable, spacious, and clean. Location is quiet and peaceful with everything we needed as well as close to town/market/restaurants. Communication with Chris was cordial and prompt. Very relaxing and refreshing stay!

We had a terrific time at this place, very spacious and well appointed. The grounds are kept up beautifully and the beach is private so no one is on the beach. We didn’t hit the right time of year for waves so we’ll have to come back for surfing ne t time but overall a great place!

Beautiful beach with a natural pool just steps from the apartment. The place is comfortable, spacious, well maintained and clean. You can walk on the beach to Tamboo and not far from the town. Great communication with Chris. We would go back!

From beginning to end, our experience was great! Safe , spacious and comfortable location. Development is well maintained and clean. Despite the warnings of rip currents, we loved the waves on the beach. The busiest day was a dozen or so others on the beach. Divine. Quick drive to market and many delicious restaurants. Third floor terrace would benefit from some sort of umbrella or canvas cover, otherwise it’s too hot during the majority day. That’s my only criticism. Wonderful stay at a beautiful location!

We had a great time ! Really great location in the complex , super close to the beach where some are not as close or set farther back . Our kids had a great time boogie boarding , waves were just right (kids age 10 and 11) (March 2022) . We all took surf lessons as well and had a great time . House is casual and has what you need . Great location and very safe . Gated and private beach . Rincon is a short little drive into town and some other great beaches and restaurants . We didn’t use the pool, the beaches were all we needed . I didn’t know we wouid have to buy a pass to use the pool but we really didn’t want to leave the beach anyway . The beach had a great “pool” area that would be great for little or big kids . It was nice to have boogie boards , coolers , beach chairs at the house to use . Maybe bring your own arm leashes for the boards just fit safety , most of them were broken or gone (I’m sure they break easily ) some snorkel stuff avail to I use but would still bring or rent , kind of piece together stuff that was left behind mis matched but great to have to pop out for fun. Owners were very nice and helpful . We would for sure return to this beach ! Thanks for a great last minute stay!

The photos that are posted of this property DO NOT do it justice. I am not going to lie - when I requested to rent this property, I wasn't too excited about it - just thought "oh it's just a condo complex and will have a beach by it, etc." I didn't know... but let me share what I now know.... This property is on the outer part of Rincon - but close enough to downtown, Steps Beach/Maria's Beach and places such as Caddy's Calypso. It's a well maintained and secure community with the private beach mentioned in the description being a HUGE bonus. It's clean, not crowded, PLENTY of sea glass and shells to peruse throughout a day and there is a tide pool - that has little communities of fish to see if you want to snorkel in shallower water or just sit in it to cool off from the sun. I cannot say enough about the beach. The villa itself is a great space - we are a family of 4 and another family of 4 came with us. Enough room to where we not on top of each other. AC worked great, washer and dryer worked great and everything we needed to cook was located in the kitchen. The road leading into the villas is great for just taking a non sandy walk or jog in the a.m. There are beach chairs, beach towels and snorkel gear availalble - i'm assuming from past guests. Also a cooler - all worked well for our group. I also want to mention a little feedback on a recent past review - there was some negative feedback on the appliances and the villa itself being filthy and worn. The villa was perfectly clean and ready to go when we arrived and the appliances all worked well - we have no complaints. If I was asked to offer any suggestions it would be to bring an extra hand towel or bath towel or 2. With our group of 8, I felt we were always fighting for those. LOL but on a serious note, that's it. This villa is a great place - everything you need for your trip to Rincon. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!!

Went here to relax and surf with two of my buddies. Beach right out front was a perfect surf spot every morning. House was clean. The host was super attentive and helpful. Close to some great farm to table restaurants and short drive into town of Rincon. Would return for sure.

Nice house in a beautiful setting. A safe place for a family vacation. The beach is beautiful, ideal for surfing, but there are calmer ones nearby. Plenty of nice restaurants, a couple of them accessible by walking along the beach.

We loved our time in Rincon! I especially loved waking up in the morning and being able to walk to the beach, having coffee on the rooftop while watching the waves on the beach and winding down in the evening looking at the stars and listening to the waves. The neighborhood was very clean and quiet. The condo/ apartment had everything we needed for our stay. There was more than enough space. Being steps away from the beach was ideal and I definitely wouldn’t want to visit again any other way. Communication with the owner was very easy and open. If you’re looking for easy beach access and quiet, this is would fit perfect.

My family and I spend New Year’s weekend at the Villa, we had an amazing experience. The day we arrived we saw a bonfire, fireworks and music at the beach (which is just steps away) so we headed over. Everyone was nice and welcoming, we had lots of fun. Over the next couple of days we relaxed, headed to the beach (quiet & nice), grilled some meats, went to the pool and walked around early in the morning (sunrise so beautiful). The villa has towels, floaties, beach chairs, beach cooler, fully equipped kitchen and A/C for the whole house. We had an incredible weekend and will definitely book again. Thank you for everything Christopher. ***The pictures shown don’t do the Villa justice, it is much more beautiful in person.

The description of the Punta Del Mar community is 100% correct. Our disappointment came when we found that the property did not match the description or the prior reviews. Positives first: it was 100 steps to the beach, had its own entrance, AC worked great, beds were clean and comfortable. Disappointments: excepting the comfortable and clean bedding, the place was not clean. There was built up grime and debris all along the walls, the walls were dirty, and the paint was peeling. The property was behind another property which blocks "direct ocean views". From the patios, you could get peaks at the ocean between the units fronting the beach, but not a “direct ocean view.” The furniture was highly worn, and some pieces were damaged. For example, the glass top on the wicker coffee table appeared dangerously ready to fall out. The appliances were not “top of the line,” rather they were worn and aged, and some did not work. For example, the dishwasher wasn’t usable (door latch was broken) and the dryer filter receptacle was broken and tore our clothing. This would have be an excellent property if it had been properly cleaned, painted and repaired.

Conveniently located in proximity to local supermarkets and eating establishments,, not far from Rincon center. Nice private location off of the main road with private beach, best for surfers, and pool. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves which was lovely. Accommodations ample for number of family members, facility could use a bit of updating though. All in all good for a larger family and cost was reasonable. Chris was very flexible with check in and check out which we greatly appreciated he was also easy to reach if we needed anything. We would visit again.

My family enjoy the time vacation time in the property. Is well located, near Rincón town and have a variety of water sport activities that can be access directly in front the property. The host is very responsive and the property is well equipped. I will return soon…

We had a great time at this condo. The pictures don’t do it justice and our group of 8 enjoyed the privacy of our own rooms. The beach is steps away and feels very private. We went to the pool once and had it completely to ourselves. The owner Christopher was the most attentive host I’ve ever had when renting from VRBO.

We had a wonderful stay at this very spacious, clean, and well-equipped beach home with a beautiful view of the ocean from the bedrooms and roof top terrace. It was a welcome retreat after not being on vacation for 2 years!

We traveled with 3 children, 15, 12 and 3. This property was perfect for every age group, close enough to beach and in such a safe and easy going community. I was comfortable with older kids walking to and from the beach and villa alone. The beach area with the tide pool were perfect for my little guy but still deep.enough for the teens to enjoy. We found tons of sea glass and even a large iguana.. The kitchen and grill were perfect for cooking meals and snacks, the villa had every tool and/or accessory needed. Plenty of room and beds were comfortable. We had an amazing vacation and will definitely be back!

Great location

This villa is amazing, beach is great it's just steps away . Also friendly neighborhood everyone greeted and invited us to join them to the beach. The view was breath taken. My family enjoyed the waves but also the smaller water areas. The villa was beautiful!! Everything we needed was already there. The communication with the Christopher was awesome. We will be returning. I am very grateful to have experience this wonderful vacation at this location.

Can't wait to return! Location was quiet and clean and steps within beach. Views from the villa were beautiful! We really appreciated the nice beach towels that were there, less to travel with. The villa was well supplied with everything we needed. We were very comfortable with the space in this villa, there was plenty of room for the eight of us! We choose to cook a few times and the kitchen was well supplied. The gas grill was a bonus! We throughly enjoyed staying here and hope to return soon to this villa!
