Nicely decorated rooms, Beautiful environment The restaurant next door is excellent

I was very disappointed given the fact that I read a lot of praises in the reviews for this property prior to traveling. The main problem was that we had to wait for 3 hours for the host. We arrived at 15:30, nobody was present, we called the phone number listed in the booking confirmation 6 times, nobody answered. That was a very bad experience, we felt nobody is expecting us and that we might get stuck outside. We even started looking for another accommodation, in case the worst happens. When we finally reached the host at 18:30 she said she is “terribly sorry”. We realized it was an honest mistake, but the least she could do is make us feel better about our stay - any way would be acceptable - but she didn’t, she only kept apologizing and was quite frigid to us.

Amazing rooms, nice hosts, very large breakfast! Extremely good price/quality ratio in a calm and beautiful area.

Very pretty renovated place at the foot of beautiful Bardi castle. Rooms very comfortable and with most of the needed amenities. Restaurant next door. Good breakfast and honest price.

The room was very small, even though truly comfortable. No parking nearby but available for free in the town square 100 m away (but be aware of the Thursday morning market!)

What a gem of a hotel and town. I'm sure many people pass through not knowing how quaint and beautiful this town is. The staff and restaurant here are exceptional. Well worth the stop in the way to/from the coast.

Very nice modern hotel with old heritage. Very good breakfast in the morning. Also you can eat really nice dinner just other side of hotel. We found out the husband is running really nice restaurant and wife is running the hotel. Really nice to see and what a combination. Beware you have to drive around 2 hours hilly road from Portofino if you are not used to it.
