Apartment was lovely. The area wad fantasic and quite, staff on site were lovely and friendly we all really loved it. The wine, chocolates and milk was a huge surprise and a very sweet touch and the garden was so well kept

Perfect size for 4 people, Nice bottle of wine, pint of milk & box of chocs on arrival. Thank you Property adjoins a pub/ restaurant which is open in the evenings, served good food. Location is excellent.

Overall property was good but few areas of suggestion to improve for future guests. We didn’t receive check in details prior to arriving. Not clear on instructions what to do. Except no check in before 3pm. The pub was closed, no one around so knocked on the door. A lady in flat above shouted down from the window the key box number. So checking in was a bit strange. Main bed had dip in mattress & bedding was basic. Room was hot so used the fan, this was really noisy & was so dirty with dust the room then smelt dusty. I actually cleaned the grill & blades myself. No bin bag in the kitchen bin. Also no hand soap in toilets and only 1 set of tiny body/ shampoo wash provided for 4 adults.

The property was amazing. It was a self contained little house with a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor and living area up stairs with an en suite bedroom. Really clean. The owners who own the pub with the property were so helpful and welcoming. We sat with them having a drink most nights. Definitely going back again. Loved it.

Overly sensitive fire alarm!

Self catering. Quiet area but up dangerous steep twisty road. Building work in progress - arrival looked like driving into a building site. Long walk for mobility impaired guest (and luggage) to entrance.

Shower was dangerous had to request a safety mat. Also shower spread water out of shower room under door into hall at base of stairs - made entrance hall very slippery.

The people, beautiful location and really clean. Ian and Sue are perfect hosts, we will definitely be back.

The property was comfortable and there were good facilities. It was a good location for exploring the Forest of Dean. The owners were friendly and there was good food at their pub.

We have no complaints - well apart from the fact that it poured with rain all day on the Wednesday!!
