This was perfect for us. Julie was easy to communicate with and provided us with what we needed. When we vacation we like to make it simple, spend most days at the pool, cook dinner, hang out. It was close enough to go to the stores without making it a days trip, but because it is tucked in the woods, you feel secluded from city life. It is the best of both worlds.

Julie could not be more generous with her time and in her response to any needs you have. With 4 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs everything is pretty well spaced out. Plenty of restaurants around the area to go too. Supermarket, coffee and bagel place within 2 mins of the house, and Momento Italian restaurant was a nice surprise! Cambleback is 20 mins away and Shawnee is 15 mins from this house.

Several of us family members rented this home for a long weekend and had a great time. Hosts were extremely welcoming. Home was very quiet, very clean, comfortable and private with no visible neighbors. 4 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms is a plus and also the shower pressure is strong enough. The entrance to the town is about 5 minutes away which makes it very convenient.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The owner was very helpful and responsive, and the property itself was just as advertised. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the adults had good use of the hot tub. It was a close ride to Kalahari for a day trip. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and can't wait to return.

Me and my girlfriends stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and had the best time! The owner was always available for any of our questions. The house was clean and perfect for what we needed. The location was great! We were 10-15 minutes away from the casino and restaurants. Pool and hot tub were clean and we love having both! Would definitely stay here again!

When we first got to the house we noticed it was very clean. The house had everything we needed and the owner was super friendly and super helpful. There is plenty space and many things to do inside and outside. We really enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend this place!

Perfect Family rental
My friend and I took our kids to PA for Mother's Day weekend. We were 2 adults and 3 kids ages 16-14. My friend and her daughter arrived first and were my by Ralph who did the walk through, she said he was very nice and accomodating. It rained ALL weekend for us, but the house was perfect. Even with the rain we enjoyed the hot tub and hanging out on the back porch. We did bring a pop up tent, due to the rain, that we used over the BBQ and over the hot tub. We played Jenga and many many games of Foosball/basketball shots indoors. We loved having the view of the stream in the backyard. I wish we could have made use of the firepit, but the rain was relentless so we made smores in the fireplace instead. All the bedrooms are on the same floor which was great for us. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows for everyone! We made all our meals at the house (bring your own tupperware/tin foil/plastic wrap for leftovers, they do not supply). We also made use of the washer and dryer during our stay. No complaints! The house did smell a little like a campfire when we first came in, but that's expected in a house with a fireplace (especially in the rain). We loved that the house was isolated with no neighbors. The kids played their music loud and we were singing all night in the hot tub. In the area, we visited Alvins Off Road Playgound and Bushkill Falls. All Fun Times! Check out was easy. I would definintely rent this house again - great location and no stress vacation.

This place was exactly what we were looking for! Hot tub, fireplace inside, and fire ring outside! We stayed when the pool was closed, and now we're making plans to come when the pool is open!! Off the beaten path, but close to supermarket and stores. The winding brook was great too!

Pocono Getaway
Great location with lots of privacy. Even in the winter, the outside atmosphere is so peaceful with the creek running around the house. The bedrooms were roomy and it was so great having four full bathrooms. The property manager was nothing short of amazing, answering all of my questions and providing us with such a great house to get away! And the hot tub was a huge plus!

Disappointed in East Stroudsburg
This property leaves alot to be desired. The ad makes the place appear alot cleaner and modern than what you will find.Lets start with the fact that it is right off a crummy country road next to a VFW lodge.
The windows and upstairs door were left unlocked. It made us feel very insecure and unsafe. Very eerie inside at night. Also the firewood was wet so it was impossible for you to use the fireplace. Mice traps everywhere including under kitchen counters. Too many rules ,the owner has you take out extra insurance on an already inflated nightly rate .
Not worth the money.
Owner never got back to us about our concerns. Also food in the area was lacking /restaurants were all dated and local pizza was a letdown. Go elsewhere!!

Thanksgiving Vacation
Earlier this year my stepdad passed and we decided we wanted to do something different for Thanksgiving to get my mom out of the house. We started looking on VRBO for homes with #1- a hot tub and #2 - cable TV so I could watch the paradeand football. We Started scrolling thru photos and this home caught our eye. We read the reviews which were mostly very good. We could decipher that the negative comments were nonsense and decided to book. That being said, the location was convenient. There’s a supermarket and dunkin very close so that was a plus. Driving up to the property you can tell it’s a special property, perfect for relaxing. A beautiful creek borders the property and wraps around back. The house was immaculate. Huge Comfy couch, open concept on the main floor with an updated kitchen, 2 full baths a game room, big screen TV with cable, big fireplace and French doors leading to the rear of the property. 2 more full baths upstairs along with 4 bedrooms, one of which has direct access to the outside hot tub and covered porch. Everyone in our party said the beds were comfortable and slept well. Plenty of towels and pillows available as well. So many nice touches in and around the home as well. Outside is a Weber grill, big fire pit and sounds of wildlife. There’s also a basketball hoop if you want to shoot around. Very peaceful. Given the opportunity we will definitely be back to stay again, maybe over the summer to enjoy the in ground pool. Great Property and thanks to the owner Jules for making the check in/ out very simple.

Our weekend at this home was great! Enough space for 7 of us comfortably! We loved having the hot tub and the firepit to enjoy throughout the weekend. The home is also a nice proximity to Town making it easy to grab items that we were missing to cook. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely atmosphere
We all loved the property. It is on a creek, with a fire pit, hot tub and built in pool. Of course the pool was already closed. The house was really nice. Four bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Great kitchen. We would stay there again.

Nice house, but lacking in basic elements
We are three couples who frequently travel with each other to various destinations on the East Coast. During the past two years, we stayed at several rental properties that were rated 5.0 on websites. When we saw this house rated at a 4.9 in the reviews, we hoped it would live up to our previous experiences. Although we enjoyed the area and there were some positive factors about the house (hot tub and fire pit were nice, very clean, renovated, nice artistic touches) we were disappointed in several basic elements that were missing that we found to be readily available at the other vacation rental homes we visited. For example, we thought the kitchen supplies provided here were below average - no flatware was provided under the excuse that it could not be provided during COVID for health reasons, so we had to make do with plastic utensils. We had not encountered such an excuse before despite staying in several places during the pandemic. In addition, the kitchen lacked wine glasses (although we noticed they were pictured in the pics on the website), a teapot, dish towels, and basic supplies like salt and pepper that have been commonly provided at other home rentals at which we have stayed. The pots and dishes were low quality, as was the single-ply toilet paper that was provided. All linens and towels were below average as well. The house lacks screen doors that would enable guests to air the house out without letting flies and wildlife in. There is no exhaust fan in the kitchen. If the house provided better supplies, towels, and linens, this review would be much better. But as it is, based on our experience of renting other homes that lived up to the listed 5.0 ratings and the amenities provided in those homes, we collectively score this property as a 3.8 out of 5.

Family Getaway!
We loved the home/cabin. It brought back memories of being at camp during my childhood. Our kids had a blast. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again. We do have a few cons. We felt for the rate we were charged, the sheets could've been better. They were old, thin, and cheap. The two downstairs rugs need to be cleaned. The rug at the front door smelled like mildew and you can tell it hadn't been washed. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves. The cabin is beautiful and very much welcoming. The owner was very nice and made herself available when I reached out to her.

Family Vacation
Julie and her beautiful home exceeded my family’s expectations. The home was both modern and had a nice wildlife feel to it because of the location. Having a walmart/Weiss Markets nearby was a plus for family members that may have forgotten to pack something from home! Anytime there was a question or concern, Julie would answer immediately and provided clear answers.
