What a wonderful home away from home to visit our cadet and meet his friends. House is comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully appointed. It’s an easy walk to town and to the Thayer gate. Heather is a fantastic host! Highly recommend!

The property was clean, up to date, and equipped with everything we needed for an easy, pleasant weekend away.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The home is clean, lovely and comfortable. So glad we found this absolute gem. It made our Ring Weekend even more special.

We’ve escaped upstate from NYC many times during the pandemic, but this was our favorite property. The house was immaculate, the hosts nicely left us wood for the fire pit, and took care of the little bit important details like Kleenex in every room, k cups for the coffeemaker, plenty of luxurious towels, shampoo and conditioner, and a well equipped kitchen. The location, right outside one of West Point’s gates, walking distance to MacArthur’s restaurant at the Thayer Hotel inside the gates, and to a wine store just down the block, and near to some awesome hikes, was super convenient. We also enjoyed all the great West Point memorabilia throughout the house. Nice large table on the deck and in the dining room gave us plenty of room to spread out. All in all a great weekend trip.

The owner has done an excellent job making this rental feel like home. Beautifully decorated with everything we needed. Close to Post with a great backyard. We couldn't have hoped for any better. We will definitely be back.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Highland falls, beautiful town and overall quite area. I was very pleased with the Heather's hospitality and attentiveness she was overall amazing made our stay very welcoming and comfortable. Her home is very clean and beautiful, We hope to come again hopefully soon the skiing locations are easy to get to from Heather's home so that's another plus, overall excellent stay!

The house is very comfortable and just as described. Heather was an amazing host and the first to ever text the address to easily input into GPS. So helpful! She was also very responsive throughout our stay. If your visit is connected to West Point, this is definitely the place to stay. The decor will get you in the spirit and you can't beat the location to the Thayer Gate. There are also plenty of restaurants and the Visitor Center within walking distance. The only thing I would change is in addition to all of the other very helpful signs, maybe one warning the water gets really really HOT. All in all a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. I highly recommend this property.

If you are visiting West Point, this is the place to stay. Close to Thayer gate, visitor center, and downtown Highland Falls.

My family and I had a great weekend in this charming, historical house. The house was clean, the rooms were spacious, and the beds were really comfortable! We loved all the West Point memorabilia placed around the home and its location. The house is in a quiet area but right around the corner from Main St restaurants and just a few minutes from West Point and a short drive from Bear Mountain. Would definitely recommend when visiting the area!

I cannot say enough good things about this home. First of all, the location cannot be beat. The decor is wonderful...beautiful photos of USMA all over and various other West Point memorabilia. The kitchen is well-stocked and perfect for feeding those hungry cadets after a football game. The beds are very comfortable and the entire house was perfect for our family weekend visiting our oldest son. Heather is a gracious host who was very helpful and available. We had no problems whatsoever and thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at their Rockbound Highland Home. Go Army!!

Great location and awesome accommodation. The decor is very special and makes you appreciate the academy next door. Walkable to most everything and extremely clean and comfortable. Looking forward to a return soon

The Rockbound Highland Home was perfect for our family wedding weekend. The home is immaculate and had every amenity a family could need. Heather left information on restaurants and activities in the area and let us know about current happenings as well. The location was 20 minutes from our activities in Peekskill. We also enjoyed a beautiful run on the West Point Academy campus which is a 2 minute walk from the home. It was a perfect getaway!

Just stayed in this Highland Falls home this past weekend with a group of five women who have been friends since we were in our 20s, something like 40 years now (yes we are old!). The house is lovely and Heather was a perfect VRBO host.

We loved our stay here. The location was so convenient for visiting West Point and events at The Thayer Hotel. We stayed here for 2 nights while in town for a family memorial service at West Point. The West Point decor made our stay even more memorable. A surprise bonus was the amazing beds! They were unbelievably comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

This house is lovely. Quaint, yet elegant, comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. Great location, too! Heather was super easygoing and nice.
