The apartment appears newly renovated and seems to be well taken care of. Kudos to including many small items - paper towels, olive oil, salt, pepper, and a few coffee capsules that many others don't provide - it's wonderful to not have to buy these small things when you are traveling. The owner didn't speak much English and we didn't speak much Spanish, but she really tried to make sure that everything was alright. Definitely someone who cares about their guests. The apartment is located only a few steps from the beach and a metro stop which takes you into town in 20 or so minutes. You can also head north on the tram to Benidorm (or Denia) so it is an excellent base to explore the Costa Blanca. Walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. The beds were comfortable (if a bit small - but typical Spanish size), bathroom had plenty of space, and kitchen was fully equipped with dishwasher, stove, oven, and microwave. There was even a juicer to make fresh orange juice.

Spanish construction - although renovated, most of the windows did not close properly and let in a fair amount of wind (which is relatively common on the 12th floor of a building). This is typical of Spanish construction and while the apartment has central heat and air so you can easily stay comfortable, it is a shame that they don't pay much attention to the environmental impacts. The only real complaint about the apartment was that there was only one non-butter knife in the kitchen which made cutting things up a bit of a challenge, and you could only make coffee using capsules.

The apartment is great! Location and view from the terrace is awesome! Pilar, the hostess, made everything easy and simple! Highly recommended.

It was a little surprise that most of the restaurants near by were closed evenings.

This is a great place to stay if you visit the San Juan Beach. It is well located, it has a supermarket nearby as well as restaurants and pubs. And in front of it you will see the beach.

Everything was great so I don't have any comlaints.
