The property is wonderful. The swimming pool and gardens are stunning! The owner Catherine is super responsive and helpful. The villa is a short drive from Cagnes sur Mer which has wonderful bakeries and easy access to the freeway. A perfect base for exploring the area. Although you will be tempted to just stay home and lie by the pool!

The villa and grounds are very spacious, other than the kitchen which is a bit small for catering for 11 people. Kitchen would benefit from an additional over and dishwasher. Property very clean and lots for children to keep occupied - pool, table tennis and badminton were a hit! Beautiful gardens but would suggest owner provides some citronella candles as lots of mosquitos and ants around! Only negative side is property is quite far from local town, so definitely need to hire cars, as too far to walk, and Uber kept cancelling drop offs and pick ups due to it's remote location. Overall, a great place to holiday with a large group of family and friends!

The villa offers everything you need for a wonderfull stay in the Côte. Complete kitchen, nice outside BBQ/pizza shed. Lovely gardens, lit at night. Awesome swimmingpool. Enough things to do in and around the house - from Table tennis to Chess, from Badminton to playing cards. Good airco in bedrooms, not on groundfloor. The info and communication with the owner and local service team are very warm and supportive when you need anything. We had a lovely holiday, 4 adults - 5 kids (range 9-17) and would recommend this place to everyone with a group/families between 7-12 people. Top House!

Villa is beautiful and very well maintained. Everything is provided. Our family, of four generations, enjoyed the large pool, ping pong table, the trampoline and the gardens. Caretaker, Gerard, is great and lives next door. Location is convenient for excursions to beaches or mountain villages.

Wonderful property in a quiet location but not far from the coast and major towns . The electric gates open, thus allowing you to view the well manicured gardens and buildings. The outdoor spaces are a delight to sit in and view the flora and fauna. The pool area is excellent, with plenty of sun loungers; overall the pool is large, clean and heated. Inside the house there is plenty of room for a large group of people to gather together or have some alone time. The kitchen has everything you need to cook or prepare food for the outdoor bbq or pizza oven, both of which are located in the outdoor kitchen. Bedrooms are a good size with comfy beds and spotless clean en-suite bathrooms. The property suited our large family gathering. Once inside those electric gates we were in paradise.

We rented the house in order to work on a project for a week. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. Catherine was very helpful with all information that we needed before we booked and up until our arrival, and Marianne and Gerard looked after us and the house in the best way when we arrived. The house, the garden and the pool is well looked after and everything hold a high standard, and you have everything you need, including in the kitchen. The house and the garden provided the perfect environment for working (and relaxing) for a group of colleagues working together for a week. we had working meetings both inside and outside (in October), and there was also plenty of inspiring places to sit and do individual work. We planned for several activities in the area, but ended up spending most of the time at the house and prepare most of the meals there as well because we enjoyed staying there so much. I could not be happier with my choice, and really hope to be able to visit again.

The grounds and pool were much larger than we had expected and were beautifully maintained. We spent quite a few days just relaxing by the pool during our stay as it was so beautiful. The house is conveniently located very close to Haut de Cagnes and Cagnes sur Mer, and the A8 is very close by allowing easy access to Nice, Monaco and other major cities. The town of St Paul de Vence, Vence and Grasse are also all within a short drive, as well as the local supermarket and the Polygone-Riviera shopping mall. We could not have been happier with our choice of location for our family holiday and hope we will have the opportunity to go back again soon.

We had a great 2 week stay in the Villa. First week with family, second week with friends. Both groups found it fantastic. The pool area is very spacious, with enough sunbeds. We had a lot of fun playing table tennis and jeux de boules. The kitchen and outside dining areas are very comfortable. We spent most of the time under the grapevines. Every bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and has AC (thas was very useful with the high temperatures). The villa is very close to Nice and the airport. The village of Cagnes is also nearby, you can easily reach it by car, without any traffic. One of our friends had his boat in the port of Saint Laurent du Var, which was also nearby. The seaside is very beautiful and we also saw some dolphins. A special thank you to Gerard and his wife, they were very helpful and so kind! We are already planning to come back next year!

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 10 Personen im Juni für eine Woche in diesem wirklich wundervollen Haus. Das Haus, Grundstück, Pool sind wirklich wunderbar. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen, wenn wir mal wieder an die Cote d`Azur reisen. Vielen Dank!

We immediately booked again for next year. very beautiful house with very nice and high quality furniture, wonderful beds. The garden and pool are very well kept, ping pong table, lots of comfortable chairs around the big pool, Petanque and lots of space for kids to run around. Great tennis courts very near by, a lovely 9 hole golf course in the immediate area, the beach , Nice, Cannes, Antibes all very close by.

Für unsere Familienferien (über drei Generationen mit 17 Personen) haben wir das Haus im Herbst gebucht. Der ganze Aufenthalt war traumhaft und wir konnten die Woche in vollen Zügen geniessen. Die Qualität der Ausstattung, Küche, Zimmer, Bad und Betten ist herrvoragend. Das Haus bietet genügend Rückzugsmöglichkeiten, wie auch grösszügig dimensionierte Innen- und Aussentische, so dass auch alle Familienmitglieder an einem Tisch dinieren konnten. Der Pool ist äusserst grosszügig (auch für ein morgendliches Distanzschwimmen, der älteren Semester) und überzeugt durch den Einsatz von Salzwasser und einem Minimum von Chemikalien. Genügend Poolmobiliar steht zur Verfügung, wie auch Tischtennis, Bocciabahn runden das Gesamtbild ab. Ein Aussencheminee, wie auch Pizzaofen waren bei uns praktisch im Dauereinsatz. Für uns das ideale Ferienhaus für grosse Familienferien und deshalb sicher nicht das letzte Mal.

We had a great one week stay in the Villa. The pool and surrounds are spacious, relaxing and tranquil. The kitchen and dining areas are very comfortable with top class appliances and have easy access to the outdoor dining area which is a fantastic setting for any meal. Every bedroom has an en-suite and it is ideal for multiple families with the bedrooms evenly spread across the upper floor. We used the outdoor pizza oven and spent many lazy afternoons reading or dozing on the outdoor lounges under the grape vines. The villa is close to Nice and the airport and it is an easy drive to nearby villages or attractions. W would recommend it for families looking for a great French holiday.

Das wunderschöne, sehr modern und stilvoll eingerichtete Landhaus, befindet sich in einem ruhigen Teil von Cagnes-sur-Mer. Haus und auch der prachtvolle Garten eignen sich für mehrere Familien. Der Pool ist riesig und erlaubt es den Erwachsen ihre "Längen" zu schwimmen, ist aber auch ideal für Spiel und Spass mit den Kindern. Meer und Strand sind in wenigen Minuten per Auto zu erreichen. Eine super Unterkunft, welche sich auch gut eignet, um die Umgebung wie Nizza oder Saint-Paul-de-Vence etc zu erkunden!

Un havre de paix à 5 minutes du centre de Cagnes sur Mer et de ses commerces, et à 10 minutes de la plage si vous le désirez. Loin de rien, près de tout, cette maison spacieuse (6 chambres, 6 salles de bains !!!) nous a permis de loger toute la famille pour des vacances inoubliables et de visiter un tas d'endroits sans avoir besoin de faire de long déplacements. Maison parfaitement propre et superbement équipée. Je recommande cette maison pour des grandes familles ou des grands groupes car il y a tellement d'espace qu'on est jamais l'un sur l'autre. Nous y sommes aller en avion. L'aéroport est à 15 minutes de la maison quand il n'y a pas de circulation importante, un rêve. Si nous avions envie d'un restaurant nous n'étions qu'à 5 minutes des Hauts de Cagnes ou à moins de 30 minutes du Vieux Nice, d' Antibes ou encore de Vence ou Saint-Paul-de Vence. Bref l'embarras du choix. Cette maison est à recommander en tout point.

We stayed in this house few times already with friends and with the family too. Had a great time and very much enjoyed our stay. Planning to go back again next summer. The house is surrounded with mountains from one side, with beautiful views all round including its lovely garden with a big swimming pool. I loved the peace and quite there, each morning waking up hearing the sound of birds. The grounds are beautiful all round the house, very well arranged to enjoy and relax. We loved many evening of BBQ parties and dinners with the friends and family, and during the day having a swim in the pool. The house has been newly refitted with a quality furniture and fixtures and fittings and was always kept very clean. We are very grateful to the owner and maintenance staff for providing a such a perfect gateway from everyday life.

Two Summer weeks in Cagnes where family and friends enjoyed the pool, the bowls, the ping-pong table, the pizza wood-fire oven and the barbecue. Breakfasts and diners on the south terrace with view over the pool. Aperitifs on the west terrace to take advantage of the last sunbeams. 40min from Monaco, 15min from the airport and Nice, 5min from the center of Cagnes and the beach, we enjoyed walks, tours and restaurants (very nice view at Haut-de-Cagnes with the Grimaldi palace). The house has full comfort with a shower in every room, laundry and kitchen adapted to the size of the house :). In brief, we will come back....

We dined on the expansive terrace with view to the magnificent pool, made numerous excursions to the various French Riviera tourist attractions and slept soundly in this luxurious villa. The very spacious residence caters superbly to all your culinary right through to leisure requirements. Wonderfully appointed for families or large groups. The beauty of both worlds – extremely private and yet Nice Cannes and Monaco are only a moment away. You wont be disappointed!

Dépaysement total , au vert ET au grand calme , au fin bout du Val de Cagnes,à raisonnable distance du centre ville et des principales voies de communication ,au pied de collines boisées que nous arpentions parfois pour quérir baguettes & pâtisseries sur la route de Vence ...;. Charme incomparable et enchanteur de cette large bâtisse en pierres de Vence ,harmonieusement conçue & munie de nombreux équipements judicieux et pratiques. Ample plan d'eau situé plein sud ,au sein d'un écrin de massifs floraux et de pelouses , jouxtant un carré de pétanque , etc ... Une foultitude de curiosités particulièrement attractives tant sur la côté de Fréjus à Menton , que dans le proche arrière pays : groupe épiscopal et arênes de Fréjus , Verrerie de Biot , Abbaye du THoronet , Nice dite "la belle Méditerranéenne" , musées de la citadelle de Villefranche-sur-mer , Musée océanographique de Monaco , villa grecque Kerylos à Beaulieu-sur-mer , villages perchés autour de NIce (Peillon , Lucéram , ..), vieux et étonnant village de Tourrettes-sur-loup répertorié "Cité des Arts" , surprenantes et bigarrées gorges de Daluis et du Cians , etc .. etc ... Le tout agrémenté de fort agréables bonnes tables à Antibes (Le Figuier) , à Vence(Le Vieux Couvent ) , etc ... In fine , accompagnement occasionnel discret et réactif sur le site.

I stayed at Cagnes in October. The rural location made the perfect place to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of typical holiday destinations; although such places as Cannes are easily accessible by car. The house itself is beautiful, and the size allows for many people to enjoy a comfortable stay. The garden and pool area was immaculate and the surrounding landscape was particularly stunning. The perfect holiday.

Das Haus zeichnet sich durch eine äusserst ansprechende Innenausstattung und einen wundervollen Garten mit einem grosszügigen Pool und abenteuerlichem Waldanteil aus. Die Küche bietet jeglichen Komfort, um sich kulinarisch zu verwöhnen. Draussen ergänzen ein Grill und ein Pizzaofen das Angebot. Wer sich aber lieber bekochen lässt, der wird schnell in einem der vielen leckeren Restaurants in der Umgebung auf seine Kosten kommen. Sucht man in seinen Ferien nach Ruhe und Entspannung, so wird man dies hier zu 100% finden. Will man aber Unterhaltung, Party und Abwechslung, so bieten all die bekannten Städte und Dörfer der Côte d’Azur das Gewünschte. Kurz: Träume werden wahr!

We stayed more than one time in Val de Cagnes and we surely will return again. We like the special south of France atmosphere everywhere in the house and in the garden. It is a perfect location for a reunion with friends, also with kids who like the house, and especially the pool and the forest around the vast property. The pictures give a good and accurate impression of the house. The furniture is of a modern country house style. The house is very well equipped, and the equipment is also working and of good quality! In the kitchen we find everything we need for preparing meals also for bigger groups. Or we cook on the barbeque or in the wood fired pizza oven (works perfectly!). And after cooking we enjoy our meals under the shady terrace overlooking the pool with the playing kids. The perfect place for aperitif is the south west terrace, when the sun disappears behind the forest and it is getting cooler. At the end of the day we find a good sleep in the very comfortable beds. Since the house is in the upper part of the Val de Cagnes, there is not much noise except the chirping crickets. And finally, there is plenty to do and see around Cagnes, if you really want to leave the house. But for any excursion, a car is a must.
