The apartment was renovated recently.

It´s a typical apartment no one would rent for permanent, so it´s an airbnb. The owners don´t care much. If you text them they barely reply. They are from Eastern Europe. Beds were not very clean and smelly. A bit disgusting to be honest. I wouldn´t expect this for that price. Also there is NO beach. I expected a sea front apartment in a modern building, but it´s an old building 5 mns walk from the marina, but not the beach. It´s typical false advertisement which makes for me a huge difference in the pricing. I think half the price would have been acceptable for an old building which is not close to the beach. And in small towns most of the buildings are kind of central. The neighbors, probably also holiday makers were a bit too loud till 4 am. So if you wanna sleep before that hour it was impossible

We contacted the owner which then directed us to someone else who would check us in. This person met us with her boyfriend at the property entrance. The apartment was not as described, when booking you receive a different picture of the apartment then what we saw. The owner of the property had not notified the person with keys of our arrival. The person had about 1.5-2 hrs to clean the apartment and asked us to leave our luggage there while they cleaned. This was disturbing. Once we arrived, the apartment is located in a filthy area, downstairs there are bars- many drunk men hanging around. We didn’t feel comfortable with this as we have two young kids. Getting to the apartment there’s one flight of stairs- majority blocked by boxes of material/ trash? The apartment windows were wooden, multiple cracks and one almost split in half. The apartment looked NOTHING like the pictures. The towels in the bathroom had the wet to dry look - meaning they were not washed. The bathmat was not clean, marks on it and laying flat like it was not cleaned by prior person. All in all this was a horrible experience after a long travel day with our family. We ended up leaving within an HOUR and not even staying the booked days. The owner was argumentative and refused to give a refund and stated we booked that apartment even though our booking pictures were different. Booking was no help in receiving a refund- as owner had collected funds and REFUSED to refund based on booking representative report. I would rather lose the money than stay in a unsafe and filthy place/ location. Also, we gave the Person that handed us keys 30 euros for parking as she handed us a parking card for garage. Once we notified that we are leaving, they never returned the money- we left card on table. Such a scam.

Location is central to everything, even if located above a noisy pub until 3am.

BAIT & SWITCH! We didn't get the apt we booked (as previously mentioned by others in reviews - I thought they were probably mistaken, but nope... it happens, so renter beware!! Our apt had no living room area and no dishwasher - all indoor time was either on the very hard chairs at kitchen table or in the bedrooms. It's definitely not the one we booked! The apt is Ikea style with air conditioning which was nice, but a bit dirty - had to rewash glasses & plates before we could use them, toilets were dirty and bathroom bin was full of someone else's hygiene waste. yuk! In addition, the owner communication was VERY poor. There's no meet and great as stated in booking, you get a code to get the keys and then are left to try the keys on the doors until you find the one it fits, any follow up is ignored with no answer or very minimal answer 24hrs later. Local cleaner can't help you and the telephone number for owner isn't answered, only a recording to say that the voice mail box hasn't been set up so no messages can be left. You're truly stuck in your bait & switch apt with no avenue to discuss or change. For things like where to take the trash or what to do at checkout.... good luck guessing, just do what you think is right (we never did find the place to take trash, nothing close by that we found - took it to the port area and stuffed it in a public bin during the week and left the rest for the cleaner). oh yes, and don't expect the internet to be working. sometimes yes but most times no - your children will no doubt love the downtime as much as ours did I'm sure..don't worry, that just improves any family time at the kitchen table.

Unfortunately there was very loud music from a nearby club until 2:30am most nights. Maybe we were unlucky when we stayed and obviously this is not in the control of the property owners, but felt we should mention it.

How clean and spacious the apartment is throughout. Tv’s and Air con in every room. Kitchen and 2 shower rooms all done to a high standard. Situated perfectly in the centre and stone throw away from the beach.

Bells ring on the hour from 9:00 until 6:00 I think and can be heard from inside the apartment. Only a problem if your feeling lazy and need a lie in. Other than that all good.
