Das Allen Faircloth - Jack Tyson Haus ist ein Cottage mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern in der First Street im historischen Teil von Cedar Key, Florida. Das Haus, das um 1921 erbaut wurde, wurde mit hoher Decke und Wulstwand und originalen Holzdielenböden in seiner ursprünglichen Schönheit restauriert. Dieses Cottage mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern bietet Platz für maximal 4 Personen. Wir bieten kostenlose Wi-Fi und Satelliten-TV. Wir sind ein Nichtraucherhaus und erlauben keine Haustiere. Alle Bettwäsche wird geliefert. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet. Das Haus liegt im Herzen des Dorfes in Gehweite zu allen Restaurants, Souvenirläden, Stadtpark Strand, Yachthafen, Kirchen usw. Wir haben zwei Terrassen mit bequemen Sitzen; Die Veranda blickt auf die First Street mit ihren alten Eichen. Die hintere Veranda ist privat und hat einen Holzkohlegrill. Parkplatz für zwei Fahrzeuge und einen Bootsanhänger.

The cottage in Cedar Key was wonderful. Very quiet peaceful neighborhood within walking distance of most everything. Cottage has a wonderful antique decor and all the convenience required. Great stay.

Quaint cottage in an interesting neighborhood. The interior very clean and well stocked. Outside of cottage needs some cleaning … mossy and some mold, esp on back deck. Windows hard to see out of due to film and grill not operable. Broken furniture stacked up on back deck. Just sat in front porch and enjoyed people watching!

We loved the front and back decks, the period furnishings and how cozy it was. Beds were comfy, it had everything we needed. It was an easy and quick walk to Dock Street, Downtown, ate several times at the Prickly Palm right around the corner. Cant wait to come back.

We are on a post-retirement road trip and decided to explore Cedar Key. Communication with the rental company was outstanding. The cute small town vibe was just what we wanted. They were still recovering from a hard hit by a hurricane 4-5 weeks prior to our visit but were operating at about 75% I’d say. Everyone was very friendly and we had plenty of places to grab a cocktail some good food. Recommend visiting Manatee Springs State Park (even though there were no manatees that day!). We definitely want to visit Cedar Key and work with this rental company again!

We loved this little cottage. Everything about the place is as advertised. Clean, comfortable beds and a strong AC. It is a very short walk to all restaurants and bars and it is close enough to the boat ramp that we just parked the trailer at the house to avoid the launch fee. Good boat washing area beside the cottage.

Second year staying here for our anniversary. The Faircloth house is a quaint place, very clean and comfortable and close to everything in Cedar Key. We rented a golf cart which made moving around easy. The management company was a pleasure to work with. We will be back.

The house was great! The location was amazing. You can walk everywhere. The dock side with the restaurants was close...the other directions is the downtown area and then you can walk down the street to the water to watch the sunset. We did end up renting a golf cart for a day just to go drive around and explore the island a bit. Everything was wonderful. Cedar Key is a beautiful, quaint town. Loved sitting on the porch in the evenings having a glass of wine. Will definitely be back!

Heart of Cedar Key
Walking distance to restaurants and public park with beach, and marina to schedule trips. Fully stocked home with everything you need. Great place for a quiet calm vacation. Plenty of room for our kayak trailer and cars! Would definitely recommend property and rental management company!

Great location
Overall, the experience was good. However, the property needs thorough cleaning. It is in the stage of being overrun by palmetto borer caterpillars. By overrun, I mean we removed 25-50 over the weekend. We had to watch our step (they blended into the floors), because we smashed one and the ant army showed up for brunch one day. The rocking chairs look fun, but they are dirty. The beds are comfortable, we had a fun trip, and I will always remember my wife's face when a creepy crawler tagged along in her purse. The company was easy to deal with, we arranged a golf cart through them and that worked out great. I would use them again for another location due to the ease to work with, I however would not choose this location again.

Allen Faircloth house
House was originally built in 1921, redone to current status. It is very comfortable, all linens, towels, kitchen utensils, etc there to use. Close to all the action on Dock Street. There is a golf cart on property available to rent. Mccormick Management and Realty was a joy to work with. We’ll be back.

The Faircloth cottage was very comfortable. We enjoyed learning a little bit about one of its residents by reading about it in the guestbook. I wanted to know more about the history. We loved its location. We could walk everywhere. Enjoyed our stay.
