Beautiful location, definitely going back. Stayed as we had a wedding close by. Lovely room. The landlord gave a warm welcoming and nothing was to much.

Ed the new owner was very friendly and welcoming.

The room had an overbearing and unwelcome smell. Suspect this may be a pet friendly room which is not our preference. Shed like corridor entrance. Bathroom cave like with exposed bit of pipework and stonework. Proximity of courtyard seating, so close to bedroom window.

No teapot, would have liked some tea & coffee for the price.

Recently Renewed. The new owner of the property is an excellent host. Gave us an upgrade so we can feel more comfortable after a long trip.

The property had changed ownership two weeks prior to arrival and there were no facilities for food available because the cooking facilities had been condemned by the new landlord, I am pleased that the new guy wanted to improve the Inn before offering food!

location was perfect, lovely village, bathroom was a lovely surprise and very modern, also had a fridge in the room which was a great extra we didnt expect, room was a good size

pub was closed for the duration of our stay would have liked to have eaten there, two damp spots on the floor of the room nothing dramatic but we did notice them

Only stayed the one night, but the family room was very comfortable, and more than big enough for the four of us. The owner greeted us on arrival and made us very welcome. Nice pint in the bar before bed too. Would stay again if in the area.

We stayed in one of the lodges which had its own parking space. Very clean and spacious.

When we booked the accommodation, we thought we were staying in the pub. On arrival the pub was shut, I had to contact the owner., who did come to meet us, but the pub was shut because it had been sold. There was another pub a few minutes walk where we had to go for breakfast. We did meet the new owners who are very nice but it would have been nice to know prior to arriving the pub was shut.

Breakfast was served at a neighbouring establishment and was excellent too, due to their being no chef.

The property exceeded our expectations, beautifully decorated in an old country cottage style with everything we needed.
