Great atmosphere, nice people, excellent location, comfortable and well maintained.

There was some water dripping from the ceiling in the room with a balcony in the second floor. There were random dogs walking around the house and even entering the rooms and being aggressive to the guests, and the owners/workers didn't bother to keep away or even take care of the dogs, they looked in very poor condition.

They staff makes you feel at home. Very nice and friendly people. The house is really nice and very well taken care of. Nice pool and outside area too.

Prudêncio was very patient and kind welcoming us late at night due to some flight delays. We were in love with his gorgeous house (which he built himself), perfect for entertaining and having friends over. There's a big pool and a large barbecue area with a dining table and fridge, in addition to the kitchen and dining area indoors. It's a great location to walk downtown, where the main square is as well as most of the bars. Prudêncio was really friendly, we had nice chats with him and a great time petting his cute dogs. We're definitely coming back!

Everything was great

Right after I confirmed my room booking, the owner of the place ( Mr Prudêncio ) called me and started a great relationship with us. The place is great, modern and Comfy.

Complimentary shampoo and soap for shower could be considered

Green, well-decorated and quiet homestay just few blocks from the center square. Made me feel like home indeed. I especially liked the variety of facilites offered by the house: safe parking, 2 kitchens, work desk and enough of comfy places to chill out at the back yard.

Prudêncio is the owner that lives ont he same property but in a building a few metres away. He is super helpful and very nice. Even allow dme to change my check in and check out dates. The private guide he recommended was also super helpful with further info and recommendations even though he wasn't available to do any of the trips himself. The pool area is nice and so is the pool. All very clean and comfortable. I'd certainly stay again. Thanks Prudêncio!

Swimming pool was dirty and it was therefore impossible to swim in it.

The location is extremely close to the city center, which is important in a city without Uber if you plan on having a drink and not wanting to worry about driving. It is also situated at the end of a road, so it feels very safe, as there is no through traffic or sketchy people walking around. The house is great, you have everything you need and more. It has a very home-like feel to it. The wifi is great, the hammocks are comfortable, the pool is clean, the rooms are clean, the water is hot, the air conditioning is cold, and the owner felt more like a friend than a host after just a couple of short days there! Highly recommended if you are staying in or around the city!!

I wish we could stay longer

This was the second time we stayed here because we enjoyed the first time so much, that we cut our trip short in the Pantanal and decided to return to this homestay in Chapada dos Guimarães. It has everything you want, and things you didn’t know you wanted. Super close to the city center, yet set to the side on its own road to have a very safe feeling. The city doesn’t have uber, so it’s very convenient to find a place close to the city center to walk back and forth. Even if you are not spending much time in the city center, it is still an extremely good value place - it would be my choice if it was far away too. Hoping to return again!

The house is so beautiful, clean, safe, calm. It is very good equipped - pool for swimming and relaxing, a lot of chill places, kitchen with everything, also grill place. Rooms are so nice (I love the one with terrace). Very friendly staff, helpful with anything. Good location (5 min walking from town hall) and directly next to the nature. Excellent quality/price index.

Only small detail that soon will be fixed. Credit cards are not accepted. (In general you do not need it, because your payment go directly through booking, but in case of additional services - rent a bike etc. you have to pay by cash or PIX - Brazilian banking system).
