Third time at this rental. Perfect for a couple days of fishing(we brought our flats boat) and even more perfect for a couple days of relaxing and reading(winds picked up). Highly recommend!! Thanks again Dean!

One of the most unbelievable houses and locations we have ever seen. The hosts anticipate nearly every possible need and have outfitted the house fantastically for guests. Not to mention, the house is immaculately kept and the very definition of inviting. It was wonderful to see our children disconnect from their technology and spend all day outdoors, enjoying nature! My husband and I also loved the feeling of serenity that comes with being surrounded by so much natural beauty. Relaxing in the hammock and just listening to the lapping of the waves on the lake was heavenly. We loved everything about our stay at Lake House Blue and look forward to staying there many more times in the future!

Lake House Blue is an amazing lake house with beautiful views from decks all the way around the house. The house is very clean and well maintained. We loved fishing, crabbing and relaxing around the firepit. We hope to return one day in the future. Thank you, Dean Family, for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.

The Lake Blue House exceeded our expectations. It was well maintained, very clean, had a well stocked kitchen with cooking utensils and as well as the various condiments. It was a unique experience staying out in the water, hearing the lake lap underneath the house which created a soothing effect. I would definitely recommend this to both fishermen and family getaways!

This house has it all, lake views from every room in the house. Normally we leave our VRBO home to go out to eat but this home has everything you need to stay in. On site gas BBQ pit, fire pit, plenty of seating. A hammock overlooking the lake, great fishing all on a home located over the lake. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely be back. I would highly recommend if you want to just get away and relax.

This is one of the best VRBO experiences we’ve ever had. The hosts thought of everything we could possibly need and were only a text away if we needed them. They even provided multiple rolling carts for moving our luggage across the runway/dock. The house is beautiful with 360 waterfront views. The quiet is very peaceful and relaxing. We loved having coffee in the morning on one screened in porch and wine in the evening on the other. The rain changed our boating plans so we fished off of the dock when we could and used the crab traps. We caught a few blue crabs and it was a blast! The kitchen had everything you need and more. The bedrooms are very well appointed and comfortable. Loved that there is a deck so you can walk around the entire house and fish wherever you want. Cannot recommend this rental enough.

We always enjoy are stay at Lake house blue, it's a little bit of paradise. they have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Fishing was great and coming home after a long day to the lake house was awesome!

Our second visit to Lake House Blue and it was perfect once again. This house sits right on the water and is so private and peaceful. A very unique, comfortable spot with fabulous water views. The property is very well maintained, and the hosts think of everything you might need for your stay. Hopefully we'll be able to return next year!

This was our second stay and it was even better than the first! The views are amazing! The house is set up so you lack for nothing. The weather was amazing, no AC for the entire week! Breezes from all directions. Windows all open and water sounds are so comforting and relaxing. Need another month long stay to be sure though!

We were really looking forward to this get away to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. Our host even had flowers and a card awaiting us. Sadly, we had to cut our vacation short due to mechanical issues at the property. However, our host was very understanding and has allowed us to re-book at a later date. We are looking forward to this visit even more since we have seen the property. We feel that we were treated very fairly and would not hesitate to book with our host again.

If you want to relax and fish this is your house. The house is beautiful and so peaceful. Dean iland his wife are the best host. Fishing on thw lake is wonderful we caught Bass from 2.6 pounds up to 7.8 pounds. We all so caught several othe large fish. We would highly recommend this property. This property is one of the best we have stayed at, we stay at rental properties once a month.

Great house and dock is awesome

This was our second visit in 2 1/2 months and this home continues to exceed our every expectation! For us, it is the perfect location to celebrate the important events in our lives, i.e.: birthday and anniversary this year. EVERY item on our 'wish list' is thoughtfully provided by the owners, from spices and condiments to luxurious bed linens, an incredibly comfortable mattress, fire pit, bbq, kayaks, fishing poles, and....you simply must spend time at Lake House Blue in order to appreciate the close attention to detail! Communication with the owners is immediate - who could ask for anything more?? As the title of the review states, this home on the water IS "Simply the BEST!!"

With 360 degree view of the water it just doesn't get any better. The house has everything you will need while you are there. 2 places to dock a boat or 2. They proved crab traps and a fish cleaning station and an outdoor firepit. I can't think of single thing I would change or add. WE WILL BE BACK GUARANTEED!

Every window in this place provided incredible water views! The kitchen has windows on three sides and the scenery made it my favorite room. The decor is comfy and inviting The decks all around make it perfect for crabbing and fishing. The owners have not forgotten a single element to make your stay enjoyable. Rain or shine, there’s plenty to do. Can’t wait to come back in the fall. Definitely a place we will visit again and again.

I needed a place to take my grown and almost grown kids for a trip together that would be situated between two destinations of interest. This gem could not have been more perfect! We even took one of the short days of our trip just to stay put because of how great it is there. The owner was very communicative & tried to help us with any issues that may arise. They've thought of everything, too. My most amazing booking so far!!

Wow, talk about lake front, this is in the lake! I may never settle for less again.

We enjoyed this property a lot. I wish we lived closer so we didn’t have to drive for 5 hours to get there, we’d come more often. Weather was a bit of a party pooper ( too hot) again, nobody can control that. Owners were super nice and accommodating, the house was super comfortable and well thought through. Really recommend

Lake House Blue has absolutely everything needed to allow you to relax in a private, serene atmosphere: sensational views from every room, excellent kitchen equipment (including reg. coffee maker, Keurig, toaster oven, sharp knives, cookware, automatic ice maker, microwave and air fryer), spices, condiments, sugar, coffee creamer and other 'basics' - you get the picture! There are an abundance of fluffy bath towels in each of the 3 bathrooms and luxurious bed linens for a very sound sleep. Our morning routine was an pre-dawn cup of coffee on one of the screen in porches watching the earth and creatures awaken: flying fish that did aerial tricks right off the deck, an eagle, osprey hunting breakfast to bring back to the nest on the neighbor's tree, a semi-circle of alligators to both greet us AND convince us to go elsewhere to swim, large mouth bass and turtles. Crab traps, fishing gear and kayaks are available and a boat rental business nearby for those who wish. The lake was quiet during our stay, with only the occasional fisherman/woman trolling by. Before our first day was over, we booked a longer stay for September to celebrate our anniversary...on a scale of 1 to 10, we rate this 100!!

We enjoyed watching sunrise ever morning and catching lots of fish. Great restaurants on recommendations list furnished by owners. House has everything you need. Plan to return in the future.

I don't even know where to start. Gorgeous views, great fishing, all the amenities you need, comfy beds, friendly hosts, close to groceries and nice boat ramp just down the street, great boat tie-ups at the house...seriously, I could go on all day. No detail spared in this home. We never had to run out to get anything after we got groceries. Small details were much appreciated- luggage carts, kayaks, board games, crab and shrimp trap, fire pit, nice grill, chilled mugs, ample parking for your truck/trailer if you have a boat, private and quiet... All we had to do was enjoy the place! Great little restaurant/bar on the water (maybe a 4-5 minute boat ride from the house). Bait shop two docks down. This place was perfect for a group of four adults. Heads up for those with little kids- they let you know up front- swim at your own risk- this is a dark water lake in Florida and there are gators visibly around. This is not a swimming lake (although we took the boat out to the middle a got wet a few times). But there is a swimming lake park very close by. It is, however, a great fishing lake! Very responsive and kind hosts. Book it. You won't regret it.

This is the perfect place to stay! It was seriously a dream come true for our family. Every moment spent at the lake house was relaxing and fun. The owners were so kind and welcoming via messages. Cresent City was also a fun place to explore with great food options. We will be rebooking this beautiful lake house.

At Lakehouse Blue, you feel as though you've been invited to stay at a friend's house - a friend with immaculate, creative and whimsical taste. They've enhanced their little piece of paradise using ingenious decorating techniques that blend subtly into the background while being actual focal points of the decor when you actually look around. There is a view of the water from every room, and between the wrap-around deck and the two screened in porches, there is always a place to sit and admire the scenery. It was quite buggy as the sun came up, when the lake was very still, but the alligators were visible on the glass-like water from either of the screened in porches, and the osprey and other birds were a delight to watch as they greeted the day. By mid morning, you could sit easily anywhere outside, and early afternoon the breeze came up like clockwork. We cooked on the grill and ate every meal outside, then lounged by the fire pit when the sun went down, enjoying the glorious show of stars in the unpolluted night sky. The kitchen is equipped with every appliance, utensil, or pot or pan you could want. Two coffee makers (Kuerig and drip), toasters, toaster oven, griddle pan, sauce pans - everything you could look for. They even have a handsome gizmo that squeezes oranges for fresh juice! The beds are comfortable and the house itself is gracious and cozy. Thanks, Dean, for the birthday flowers and card for the three of us. A very nice touch, and I'm sure we'll be back!

No hassle

The house was even cuter in person with beautiful views! We were able to use the kitchen and grill to cook breakfast and dinner. My daughter loved roasting marshmallows over the fire. We only caught one catfish during our stay, but enjoyed the time we spent together. We would definitely recommend this place for a weekend getaway. We visited Ponce De Leon Springs and it was awesome! We loved the boat tour and pancake house.
