The property was well located, just far enough from shops that they didn’t bother you, but close enough to walk to, inside the house was much more spacious and great space for my family of 5, The property owner was super sweet and loved next door she was available anytime

We loved staying at this property! It had everything we needed for our stay at the beach. It was super convenient to have beach towels and chairs. Very clean. Easy parking. It was nice to have a yard for our dog. There are 4 beds total in 3 separate areas.

This is a great property for the price, very comfortable, cute, and clean. But the best thing is the location - a short walk to the beach. Can’t beat it. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you !

We had such a great time this week at this property. It is steps from the beach and we could bring our dog to stay with us, which was awesome! The property manager was very nice and responsive, we really couldn’t have asked for a better week. We’ll definitely be back!

The apartment (one of three apartments in a quaint historic 1930s updated house) is delightful; exceptionally clean, well stocked. The linens and kitchen equipment are high quality and everything works well. The host has thought through every convenience (for example, both a traditional drip coffee maker and a Keurig) The private fenced garden was so charming, a lovely place to enjoy morning coffee, read a book, or grill (a nice grill is provided) and a lovely grassy godsend to our two dogs. The location is perfect, less than one block to the beach and a 40 minute walk down the beach to the pier and town center. The host, Alicia, is the best short term rental host we have encountered; immediately responsive and professional, but also kind and warm. This became our first choice for repeat vacations immediately.

Beach is across the street and restaurants are in walking distance.

It was so easy and amazing!

The apartment is very clean but a little funky there is a slight animal scent from wet dog residents I assumed; we didn’t bring our dogs as no bully mix dogs are allowed. Note you have to go thru the bathroom to access bedroom with full size bed I felt bad for our friend who stayed in that room as we pee a lot at night! 😂 Tempur-pedic king size bed was lumpy and 1st night I woke up in pain, however it didn’t faze my husband. I moved to the twin bed in the alcove and it was very comfortable. It’s all about the location and easy access to the beach!! I gave 4 stars due to the bed and smell.

The apt was spacious enough for the two of us, close to the beach and just lovely! The fenced courtyard was perfect for our fur babies.

I cannot think of anything that needs to be changed or added. A short walk to the beach. We have had a dog with us and he enjoyed it also. The owners are great people. We have been going twice a year. We will be back again this year towards fall.

This apartment is in a vintage structure convenient to the beach. Even though older (how many beach houses have main floors at ground level these days?) it was well appointed with everything you need to enjoy the beach. The private yard with patio dining area was especially nice for our family get together. The only disadvantage is the quirky layout with the main bedroom in the middle of the apartment between the living room and kitchen, the second bedroom on the other side of the one bathroom, and single beds placed in the hall joining the living room and kitchen. It was a little awkward for our adult kids but doable for a couple of nights. I imagine that a family with 2-4 small children would be very comfortable though. The main bedroom is very large with a comfortable king bed and plenty of closet and drawer space. We were also provided with lots of bath linens as well as beach towels and beach chairs. It was just one block to the beach which was great! Overall we had a great 3 day stay.

Wonderful location close to the beach. Clean and perfect for a family. We ended up not bringing our dog but I am happy to find a pet friendly beach rental.

The cottages have been around for awhile, but they’ve been very nicely renovated. Having a lovely fenced yard and seating area was a bonus! Close to a nice stretch of beach and easy walking distance to downtown. Landlord and staff were super nice.

So we wanted a place for our family and dogs to take a extended weekend vacation. We saw the pictures of the property and were not impressed but the price worked. We were surprised when we got there and the places actually looked much better. Many updates to the places. Plenty of extra space as well. The only complaints would be that the place is not suited for colder weather. Which most of the time would not be a problem, except for the coldsnap we stayed through. Parking was confusing at first as well from the directions by we figured it out. All in all, great place and would stay again.

The location was perfect! The house was clean but smaller than expected. There’s only one bathroom and the shower wasn’t great. Water pressure was light and the shower seems to be for shorter people. Beds weren’t that comfortable but they served our needs.

What a nice place to stay for a week at Folly Beach! It's very close to the beach and a nice walk or short drive to the shops and restaurants. Plenty of beds and a great Kitchen with everything we needed. The fenced yard was a huge plus for our dog. We received great communication from the Landlord and had no problems at all during our stay.

Location was wonderful. It was just steps to the beach from the accommodation. Very clean, beds were comfortable and enjoyed the outdoor area. It was a mile into the shops and restaurants. The owner and manager were so sweet and helpful. Would highly recommend.

A perfect location with a nice fenced back yard for my dog. Makes a trip to the beach a breeze. It’s my third time staying at this location and won’t be my last!

This apartment was clean, warm and homey. We enjoyed our stay immensely and we will recommend the property to all.

We had a great stay, great location to run out to the beach, can walk downtown. New comfy couch. Great spot for our dogs, with fenced yard.

This little house was just what we needed! The location is great with access to the beach just a few steps away. The house was very clean and was a great fit for our family of 5 + 2 dogs. The dogs loved having a little yard to sniff around in. Alicia was a great host and we would stay here again.

Our stay here was more than perfect! The unit is only steps away from the beach and close to all the restaurants on the island. Alicia was great and made us feel welcome during our stay. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again when we visit Folly!

This is not our first time staying at this property. As always the owner is quick to respond. Great location. Close enough to walk to everything, yet far enough away you can't hear everything.

Place is very clean. Bed is very comfortable. We love the backyard where we grilled and eat and the fenced in yard for our furry friend. The outside shower is also great after day in the beach. Beach chairs and beach towels are also added bonuses. Cons are the house layout is quirky. One has to go through the bathroom to get into a bedroom. This bedroom is a converted garage where a portable AC is used. Both the portable and centralized AC are noisy.but they dont bother us. There were also extra 2 beds in the reading nook and dining hall which we didnt use. Parking can be tricky too but Folly is known for that. Also there are people living upstairs but they were quiet and didnt bother us. Over all this place is perfect for our family of 4 plus our small dog. Will recommend!

Perfect for our family of 5. The outdoor shower and hose were so appreciated! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!!

Great location, dog friendly spacious for the 4 of us. (Couples) Large kitchen kitchen table for games or if you want to eat. They provided propane for grill but we did not use it. Beach towels were very nice ! Loved the fenced in yard and table to hang out.
