Castaways auf Fraser liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend im zweiten Tal Eurong an der östlichen Strandseite der fraser Insel. Es ist ca. 2 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand und ist nah genug, um zu Eurong Resort Restaurants, Bar und Geschäften zu gehen. Es ist auch eine bequeme Fahrt zu Fraser Inseln schöne Attraktionen, wie Regenwald, Seen und Hauptbahnhof.
Das Haus ist auf einer Ebene, komplett abgeschirmt und voll möbliert. Es verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 Toiletten, Satelliten-TV, 24-Stunden-Solarstrom mit automatischer Back-up-Generator, neue Gasherd, Druckwasser-System, großer Kühlschrank, automatische Waschmaschine, Decken- & Wandventilatoren, alle Betten wurden renoviert. Es bietet Platz für bis zu 7 Personen und verfügt über einen schönen, überdachten Grillplatz.

Lovely clean property in a great area
Option to have sheets and towels would be a great option when you travel from abroad.
Salt and pepper and oil would also be a great addition as would spare toilet roll.
Otherwise great pad to explore Fraser.

We had 3 couples staying at the house. It is in a great location to get to all places on the island. It was very clean and exactly as described. The house was a great place to relax after a day driving around. Everyone was comfortable sleeping and there is also a single bed in the room with the double bed. Very happy with the communication from the owner. Would stay there again.

Really good base to explore the island from. Clean and tidy and beds were comfortable. Solar power system worked seamlessly and it had really good appliances (e.g. bbq and stove top etc.. - although grill didn't seem to work) and mostly good crockery and knives etc (the cutlery was a bit basic and different sized wine glasses and cups could be addressed). The only other real improvement I could think of is supplying bath towels and bath mats (or at a minimum at least bath mats as this is a bit weird to have to bring away on holiday) and to make sure things like soap dispensers are not nearly run out. With all of that said, I would definitely stay there again and just use my experience to know what to bring to fill a few gaps. Thanks for the stay!

Everything was pretty good, One issue was just before i left i was third in line for a shower and had no hot water it was a long drive today.
But apart from that it was good.

Relaxing Getaway
Castaways is in a very accessible location handy for food and shopping options to the Eurong Beach Resort (McKenzie's on 75) and for getting to other inland and beach locations.

The property was perfect for a family with teens, the location meant we could do day trips and come home and relax. The property also had everything you needed, would definitely go again.

This property is the best place to stay on K'gari, the property has everything you need in the kitchen, BBQ area, even a rain shower head. It is situated in Eurong Second Valley which is a quite little village just 4 minutes from Eurong.

Central to most attractions on Fraser Island
The house was located in a good position from which all of Fraser Island could be accessed. Even at high tide there was access from an inland route.
The house was nicely renovated, clean and tidy, its a pity the hand soaps and dishwashing liquid were all nearly empty on arrival. An extra bit of care and attention to these things would have completed the stay.

Above our expectations
Very reasonable price for a beautiful home that is evidently well looked after. We stayed here with our three young boys - three bedrooms and a spacious living area. Kitchen had everything we needed and we loved being able to sit outside every day for a breakfast and dinner, despite the time of year. House is just down from Eurong village, which was handy for us. Good communication from owners, easy booking and easy access. Thank you so much.

Clean, quiet, nicely renovated.
This was a great house for our family. We stayed in May and were very pleased. Enough space for the five of us (there is also a single bed not mentioned in the ad), so everyone had their own bed. Very nicely renovated, clean kitchen and utensils, crockery, etc. Clean bathroom and it was great to have a washing machine. Just don't forget slippers and jumpers if you stay in the colder months!

property is in a good location to see the tourist points of Fraser and shops at Eurong would make it easier for those first timers.
Property is nicely equipped with most things required and is cosy for close friends to stay together and enjoy the island.
