We stayed there for 2 nights and I must say it was amazing. the location is great and convenient, it’s quiet and private. the room that I booked looked small in the pictures but in reality it’s big, it had a shower and a tub. Jess is a great host and Lydia was very helpful too. the fact that the WiFi stays connected during load shedding made the stay even better.

our bathroom light switch wasn’t working but we used the load shedding light.

May be staff induction could help. The old lady who welcomed us didn’t know a lot of things ie where to turn on tv.

The location was great

It was cold, no heating system.

We had a great stay, from the welcome from aus Linah who was so friendly to the room which was cute and had everything you would need for a self catering room

There was a time i was showering and the water got warm, but afterwards when i showered in the evening the water seemed much better

I felt safe parking my car on presmises because the remote control gate closes behind you which means that unwanted guests can't drive in or walk in. The fact that nobody made a lot of noise made me feel and sleep comfortable. And the staff is so friendly.

The location was excellent, and the owner and staff were amiable. I will recommend it to my friends and colleagues. The wifi was available even during the load shedding. Closer to the shopping mall and restaurants

I do not like giving bad reviews, but in this case, I must so that no one goes through what I went through. I booked to stay at 31 Murray. Whilst inside an Uber, at night, and on my way to the said location, I was told I must go to an entirely different guesthouse. When I book accommodation, I am selective and critical, I select based on my preference, taste and likes. I did not like the new accommodation at all. It had brown old furniture that I detest, low natural light coming inside the room, and a shower drain that drains very slowly, I had to shower in intervals to prevent water from overflowing onto the floor, it was a disgusting act, I don’t like looking at dirty water, hence I shower and not use a bath. I told my new host about the problem, he said there is nothing he can do because it is the weekend.
