We loved our stay! House is incredibly spacious, has everything we needed to feel right at home. Loved the pool area and walking around the neighborhood, which was quiet and safe for everyone to enjoy themselves. Having the private beach access nearby via car was also a fantastic amenity. The restaurant that they have at the private beach was really good too. Would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone.

Not only was the home wonderful, clean, and comfortable, the pool area was the best we have found in all the years we have been traveling to the area! There was a family fun pool and a lap pool with a quiet area. The home had everything we needed for our stay, including a grill on the lanai.

House was perfect for our 4 day stay. This is the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in. We didn’t have to even wash a single dish before using it. Bathroom was perfect, bed was extremely comfortable. Location was great: 3 minute ride to the Fairmont Orchid, 5 minutes to the Mauna Lani. One note that we didn’t realize until we got there: you don’t have access to the Mauna Lani Resort pool/beach chairs and towels, but the Mauna Lani Beach Club which is just down the road a little further. Overall 5/5.

After staying on the North Shore of Oahu for a few days before coming to the big island, this was a big shock in a good way though. Plenty of space for us party of four a friend of mine plus my two girls who got the main suite. we enjoyed the pool and the market that was nearby. I slept great in the bed. it’s a quiet neighborhood. Our minivan wouldn’t fit in the garage easily so we had to find other parking, but I knew about this from the reviews and it wasn’t a game changer at all, there’s other parking spots nearby. Will be back. Thanks.

Our stay at this property was great & all the communication leading up to it from Kona Coast Vacations the property manager was awesome. They made the checking and access seamless. The home is nice, very well appointed, and clean. No complaints because the following two things did not cause us any real issue but will mention because some might find it annoying. The home does have a single car garage however it was virtually impossible to get a car into it. The arch/builder made them too small for other than a compact car or golf cart(s). Therefore us and other renters in adjacent units were competing for the two guest spots associated with the 4 homes in that lot 8. When the spots were full as we came and went, we just parked at the pool/fitness lot which always had room and was not an issue. The other minor annoyance with 802 was the water pressure. It was very low, to the point that only one shower could be used at a time and you had to be sure to not have the washer or dishwasher on at same time. I did message the property manager the 1st night and they did respond immediately offering to send a maintenance person out next day however we chose to just deal with it. I was thinking it might have been the same for all units and perhaps they dial the water pressure back during the summer months for water conservation due to the high fire danger.....which as we know being from CA is real concern. Again overall the home and the property management group are great.

This home was even better and more impressive than the photos! We stayed with our two kids (8 and 9) for 10 days and loved it. Check-in/check-out was seamless and easy, the home and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The house was spotless when we arrived. The pool was AMAZING and our kids were obsessed. The beds were so comfortable. If I could improve anything, it would just be for better water pressure, but that didn't lessen our enjoyment of the stay! Would definitely return and stay here again.

This property is perfect. The rooms are large and with the high ceilings., the rental feels very spacious. Everything we could have wanted was available- beach chairs and ice chests, plenty of kitchen supplies and even some spices and olive and vinegar. The pools and grounds are lovely and the complex is quiet and peaceful.

Group of 6 including grandparents, parents and 2 teenage boys. Condo had a perfect layout for us.
The unit was super clean and as described. We enjoyed the patio area attached to the unit in the evenings and used the barbecue for most of our dinners. All of the true necessities were available, but would have appreciated a few items typically available in rentals, such as a pen and paper, chip/bag clips and lotion, but this was super minor. Most importantly, the condo was clean and A/C worked great.
The grounds were beautifully maintained and the pool area was great for our family. We enjoyed the large covered area in the evenings for playing cards and eating dinner near the pool. Our teens used the pool, hot tub and workout facilities.
We would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful place, very comfy, large and great location in a lovely, new development
Kulalani at Mauna Lani is a beautiful, newer complex. The pool area is just perfect, with an adult only area and hot tubs. Now on to the townhouse itself - a very large place for my family of 4, it was so comfy and well stocked with everything we needed - Has good beds, nice rooms, big new tv, beach chairs, coolers, and more. I would definitely stay here again anytime and don’t have anything to criticize - if you book this place, you’ll love it :)

Great location and very spacious, comfortable home.
We were a 3 minute drive from a well stocked grocery store and 6 minute drive from the community private beach. The beach has a wonderful restaurant, plenty of lounge chairs, an inlet cove that is perfect for swimming and snorkeling, and the best spot for seeing whales. The house was a little worn but so comfy! We were missing a few items that arrived promptly after we requested them. The garage is narrow so not great for SUVs and we were not provided a garage door opener but that didn’t bother us. There are 3 parking spots outside the garage. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Truly enjoyed every moment at this property. All required amenities are provided and location is very ideal close to the beaches on the West Coast of the island. The property is safe and has a grocery store at a 15 mins walk which was convenient. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great spot for a getaway
Very nice property - well designed so you don't really feel like you're in a six-unit building- comfy furniture, nice green yard and morning sun, the only cramped space is the garage. Adult and kids pools a few buildings away were very chill. We enjoyed the small, protected "club" beach a few days, but Hapuna was better and only a few minutes drive. Can't really walk anywhere other than the pool, but the weather was consistently great. Might have wished for some more beach toys to be included with the unit, had to rent snorkels and boogie boards (don't rent at the beach, much better deal at snorkel bob's.) Management team was responsive and polite, if out of sight and impersonal (covid safety precaution?). Would stay here again.

Family Yearly Trip
The house was perfect size. We have stayed in the same building before. The only thing I was disappointed about and will be why we will not book this place again is, they have nothing for the beach. They had 4 chairs ( 1 was broken) 1 umbrella which was also broken. They did not have snorkel gear, boogie boards and no sand toys. The places we have stayed have always had those things. We had to spend extra money on purchasing and renting. You can’t blame it on COVID because we had friends that stayed in same complex and they had everything. Everyone we talked to at the pool stayed they had those things at there rental. Next time I will double check description and email to confirm they have those items going forward.

Great quiet setting in convenient location
We love the Mauna Lani Resort community. This property was a great place to stay and experience everything. It is short drive to all of our activities and shopping. Condo setting is very quiet.
The Property Manager and Owners made our stay very easy. They anticipated our needs with very timely emails regarding check-in process, check-out process, etc. Some minor issues we found were address within an hour. [The condo had not been rented due in the previous ~6 months, so some minor maintenance was needed - and addressed very quickly/efficiently.] Condo was spotless and ready on our arrival.
We would definitely look to return to this condo and work with this Property Management Group again.

Very comfortable - all the bedrooms had nice beds, kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, outdoor grill was great. Spent a ton of time drinking coffee or cocktails on the lanai - the way the units are set up it feels very secluded. There was no garage door opener in the unit, but that was a minor issue. Everything was clean and well cared for. Mauna Lani was a great area to use as base for exploring the island and really nice to have access to the Mauna Lani beach club. Spent every afternoon at the pool with the kids. We had 4 adults and two 5 year-olds and never felt cramped.

A Slice of Paradise
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kulalani 802. It has beautiful grounds and is conveniently located near shops and restaurants. Access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club is a really great perk. We snorkeled, swam, relaxed and paddle boarded. Such a great beach with lots of lounge chairs. The condo itself is beautifully decorated, spacious and quiet. Being able to store our boards in the garage was key. We had a wonderful time!

Beautiful Place
My roommates and I thoroughly enjoyed this property. It is new, immaculate, and well designed. The furnishings and decorations were professionally placed and comfortable.
The unit is also situated with a gully and golf course on the lanai side so we relaxed in the peaceful and private semi-outdoors.
The property management company was excellent to work with. They are professional, fair and thoughtful.

Beautiful condo!
This was our 5th year spending an extended time on the Big Island. This condo is wonderful. We had several family members visit during our stay and everyone agrees. It was so nice to have multiple seating options in the living room and many included recliners! The lanai was so nice with the cushioned furniture. The cross breeze was perfect.
The management company was very responsive and helpful.
We miss this home away from home.
